Chapter 25
Cassidy couldn't agree more so she called Aunt Sylvia from the taxi and told her what had happened minus the baby news because she wanted to tell her that news in person. As she got off the phone in the taxi pulled up to the airport. Max helped her out of the car and onto the plane. What did Sylvia say honey Max it asked? She said that's fine we can stay as long as we need to. Max nodded his head and then said it's been a long day so why don't you go and lay down. I will wake you when we land. Cassidy took his advice and went and laid down. As soon as the door shut Mac started making phone calls.
Max and Cassidy made it to Sylvia's house around 7 am. After Max and Cassidy got settled they explained everything that happened when they got to the house. When we got to the house I had it on in but before I could do anything else my phone rang so I answered it without looking at the caller ID. Somehow Nick got my new number and I had no idea how he did it. He threatened My Life & Max's life so I had words with him then I hung up the phone. Last night Max took me out to dinner and when we got home we noticed that all the lights were on.
Max was about to get out of the car and it told me to lock the doors and call 911 and tell them what was going on and as Max was making his way up to the house the house exploded. It caused my window to shatter I felt something wet running down my face and when I realized it was blood I passed out the next thing I remember is opening my eyes and hearing Max pull my name. We did get some exciting news though Cassie said. what's this news my darling Sylvia asked. Well caste said max and I are going to have a baby and not just one baby but to babies!
Congratulations Sylvia you're going to be a great aunt in October. Max said Sylvia jumped up and hugged Max and Cassidy. I'm so happy for the both of you Sylvia said. And Silvia that's all we need is your love and support. Sylvia was speechless the only thing she could say was your mom and dad would be over the moon with excitement Cassidy.
As Cassidy and Sylvia talked Max excused himself to go make some more phone calls. His first call was to Malcolm. Max it's good to hear from you how was the honeymoon? It's a long story Max said. Cassie's ex called on the first day and threatened Cassidy and myself after that everything was good until last night Malcolm. What happened last night max? Well I took Cassidy to dinner we were confronted by Simone after dinner we went back to the house we both noticed lights were on. I told Cassie the lock the doors and called nine-one-one as I was about to make my way to the porch the house exploded and Cassie got hurt by her window shattering. Malcolm we found out at the hospital that Cassidy is pregnant with twins. Oh my God Max is Cassidy and the baby's okay Malcolm asked? Yes they are all okay we are here at Sylvia's for the time being.
That's why I'm calling. What can I do for you guys Malcolm ask? anyway you can go buy or send someone over to Cassidy's house and have them check it out to make sure it is okay for me to bring them home. I sure can Max and I can do one better. I can have some of my buddies at the police station post up outside the house until you guys get back. I would appreciate that Malcolm Max said. My next call is to my security team to set up 24/7 security for once we arrive home and Malcolm is there anyway you can dig up anything on Malcolm's X? I sure can buddy Malcolm replied.
