What happens when the animals retaliate? An unknown strand of genetically modified DNA causes animals to expand and enlarge into terrifying horrible creatures that turn Humans, the apex predator, into the prey. "Joorie's gone?" Arima looked around the train cart, their items and belongings were all there, but Joorie was nowhere to be seen.

"Shit." Sasorie pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Pick up."

"Couldn't she have gone to the toilet?" Arima tries to break down the situation.

"I checked the toilets, she's not in any of them." Sasorie tries calling Joorie but she's not picking up, his phone ringing fruitlessly.

A wave of nerves wash over Arima, his palms starting to sweat. "I know I had a bad feeling about this." He looks around, analyzing the place around him.

He looks over to where Joorie is situated, her laptop still on the table. "I'll check the first four carts, you check the last three okay?" Sasorie points to the two respective doors.

"Okay." Arima makes his way to the end of his private cart, opening the door that opens to the next compartment.

The train was oddly empty, the seats looked occupied with people's belongings and items but nobody could be seen in the vicinity.

Arima's shoes clanked against the metal floors as he heard another pair of footsteps approaching him.

A roaring screech blasts past Arima, slicing his arm clean off. "Agh!" He looks at his shoulder in agony as his face consorts to the pain. He falls flat to the ground as the beast stands its ground, another approaching.

"I've got eyes on the target." A deep female voice spoke that boomed across the train compartment. "Is that it?"

"Don't be fooled too easily, he might have something up his sleeve." A voice spoke into the woman's ear.

"Noted." Her dark luscious lips spoke with elegance as her burgundy hair flowed down the back of her plaid white shirt. Her pants sagged and strapped to her waist with a belt that had a doggy bag on it.

"Grr!" The wolf cried out as its paws ground against the metal floor, creating an irritating scratching sound.

"What is this?" Arima's entire body felt paralyzed, he couldn't move a single muscle.

"Paralysed?" The woman spoke.

Arima could barely stick his tongue out to respond to her. "Wh-who-" The words barely left his mouth.

"We're part of a special task force, we were told to intercept 3 hybrids on this train." The woman bent down to look at Arima. "I guess I got the right one." Arima's blood started to congeal and turn into a solid as it reformed into his muscles, his skin clinging onto his newly molded muscles. His arms regernating within an instant.

"Where is Joorie?" He tilts his head upwards but it feels like hundreds of elephants sitting on him, crushing everybody and pinning him to the ground.

"Neutralised." The woman stands back up, snapping her fingers as the wolf turns into a green mist that flies towards her, materializing into a green key with an emerald in the center.

"Fuck!" He gritted through his teeth as he tried moving his arm, merely inching as he applied his whole force onto it. "I'm too weak!" He tried to grapple at the woman's shoes but it was fruitless.

"Hey!" Another pair of shoes clanked onto the metal door as the cartridge door slammed open. "Who the fuck do you think you are!?" A familiar, bratty, voice shouted.

The woman looks back in surprise as Joorie stands in the corridor, pink bat in hand her entire face is covered in scratches and her jacket has been torn to shreds. She opened her mouth and revealed a set of razor-sharp teeth. "Ampf!" She bit into her arm, blood spewing out in every direction as her eyes turned a bloodshot red.

"You hybrids never learn!" The woman stands her ground as she throws the key onto the ground, a green cloud erupting before her wolf appears. Her wolf had long fangs and an astral green color to it. "Inoue, feast!" She throws a ball made of the same astral mist towards Joorie.

Joorie's wounds had started to heal as she limped forward, her back hunched. "I'm hungry!" She lunges forward as the wolf does so too, chasing after the ball that had bounced off one of the seats. "Home run!" Joorie grabbed her bat and swung it with all her force but her bat merely phased through the wolf.

"Feast!" The woman commanded as the dog bit down on Joorie's arm, digging its very real fangs deep into her arm. Joorie howled in pain as she twists back and forth. However, her body instantly felt a wave of pressure over her, causing her to collapse to the ground immediately.

"Fuck!" Arima scratches the metal floor with his nails as he looks at the pinned Joorie on the floor. "Not again! I can't let my weakness kill someone else!"

"My wolf, Inoue, has the innate ability to completely neutralize any enemies who he views as prey." The woman explains. "Primordial Selection."

Joorie grunts as the bat falls from her hands, landing on the ground.

However, she turned around quickly to look at Arima, but he had completely disappeared. "Shit, he escaped!" The woman calls back her wolf, scanning the area as her hands are clasped together, ready to attack at any moment.

"Ha!" Arima lunges from one of the seats behind the woman, grabbing onto her neck and clinging onto her as he chokes her out. The wolf starts howling in pain as Arima tightens the grip around the woman's neck. They both seem to be linked.

"Agh!" The woman cries out as she claws at Arima's hand. "Inoue!" She calls out as the wolf slowly starts to fade away, the misty green particles slowly disintegrating.

Joorie coughs up her spit, slowly regaining her balance. The pressure she felt had slowly started to fade away, along with Inoue.

The woman slowly starts to lose consciousness as Arima tightens his grip, cutting off a source of oxygen to the woman's brain. Like clockwork, her eyes turn white as her brain completely goes blank. Arima let go before killing her, causing her to fall forward on her head.

Inoue turns into a key that rattles on the ground. "She's a familiar user." Joorie picks up the key. "And a pretty strong one at that." She looks at the woman on the ground.

"Yeah," Arima sits on the ground, both of his hands behind him as he slowly catches his breath. His shirt sleeves were rolled up and his hair a mess. "Well, she's not as strong as me." Arima collects his composure as he slowly stands up.

"You know, maybe you're not so bad." Joorie smiles, picking up her hot pink bat. "But you're still far too weak." She points a finger gun at him.

"Thanks." Arima looks at Joorie, all of her wounds have closed and healed. "Where were you?"

"Bunch of assholes just like she ambushed me while I was in the toilet. Opened the door to four guys just waiting to jump me." Joorie walks over to the woman. "At least they had the courtesy to not barge in while I was using the toilet." Joorie picks the woman up with one hand, an impressive feat due to the woman's large stature. "Got any rope? She seems like a pretty important person, best not to kill her."

"Right." Arima looks around and sees a computer charger on the floor, unplugging it from its socket to use as a rope.

Joorie tied the woman's hand and fashioned another cable to tie her to one of the chairs. "Speaking of which, where is Sasorie?" Joorie continues tying up the woman as she questions Arima.

"He said he was going to the front of the train," Arima says. "Should we go look for him?"

"Nah." Joorie dismisses Arima quickly. "He's got it."

At that very moment, the lights in the train started to shake violently and flash. An electrical surge causes all of the lights to explode and shatter, spitting glass in every direction. "Well speak of the devil!"

Arima looks around in confusion.

"Sasorie finally woke up." Joorie yawns, sitting down on a chair. "Kid, you're gonna wanna sit down, you don't wanna get caught in the crossfire." Arima listens attentively and takes a seat opposite the woman.

"Agh!" Sasorie flies through the sky, crashing against a cushioned seat. Electrical sparks fly from his jacket and fingertips as he catches himself.

"Ugh." A man reveals himself from a mist of darkness from the cockpit. A lifeless, drained body falls from the chair controlling the entire train. "Disgusting." He wore a gas mask that covered his face, his green puffy jacket covering his entire body except for his hands which were covered by gloves. His brown hair was voluptuous and gelled back, forming a slick back.

"Pew!" Sasorie spits out a mosquito from his mouth.

"I thought you were stronger!" The man laughs chaotically as a wave of mosquitos erupts from beneath his jacket, wrapping around his body like ribbons.
