Ch 12 Departure

Getting on the bus, I proceeded to wait until Ham got on so I could continue to avoid him. After sitting down, I headed towards the coach who sat in the foremost seats.

"Yes, Daniel, what can I help you with?" He asked, looking up from his binder of sheets.

"Uh, nothing I'm just taking the seat behind you" I replied while walking past him to reach the seat.

Plopping down, I scooted over to the windows and lay my head on it, closing my eyes to wander into dreamland.

*VONGOLA SCHOOL

Third person Pov

The bus arrived at the school and the students alighted and started to head home. The players could be seen either waiting for their guardians arrival or moving towards their direction to enter the vehicle responsible for taking them to their abode.

Over to our MC, Daniel, his guardian or well guardians consisted of his lovely and adorable maid, Alisa and his strict but compassionate mother, Amare. Zooming into their vicinity, their conversation follows

Daniel: "Hey mom, did you wait long? Also how come Alisa is with you?" Rushing into his mother's embrace.

Amare: "Hi baby and no, we just got here" Ruffling his hair as she spoke.

"Alisa here wanted to come welcome you after your game"

As soon as she finished talking, Daniel let go of Amare and hugged Alisa as well.

"Big sister, you know you do not have to do this right? I'm happy enough with just knowing you would be there for me"

"That is natural, young master. It is my duty to serve you."

"Sigh, whatever. Let's go mom, we have a lot to talk about." Pulling open the door, he walked in and sat in the middle, his mother following right behind. His maid closed the door after him and walked to the driver's side to take over from her mistress.

Starting the car, the trio started to make their way home.

After recounting the events that occured in the past few hours, he got straight to the point.

"Mom, I want to go to Japan" Hardening his resolve, he let his thoughts be known to his family.

"Of course sweety…wait no do you want to leave mommy that bad?" Originally agreeing to whatever he said until the horror of the consequential events terrified her so much she started muttering to herself.

"NO, but I have to go, Japan is a place I would be able to grow as a person" and figure out some of the mysteries my body entails. Muttering the last bit under his breath, his train of thought was derailed when his face received a resounding slap.

*SLAP*

To the shock of Daniel, his face wasn't the target; it was actually a bug that had been slapped. The force behind the slap had made mini shockwaves blowing his hair back.

Bringing back memories of OPM cool moments.

'GULP'

Focusing down at her hand, faint mist was still visible to the naked eye.

'Hehe, I'm in danger. Mom is so scary!'

At a well furnished mansion, a matte black range rover sport pulls up into the garage. The car parks and out of the car comes a group of 3 pleasing to the eyes figures. A very handsome child, a youthful girl in her twenties and a beautiful mature lady.

Walking into the mansion, the trio separated and headed to different destinations. The male headed towards his room, the younger lady the kitchen and the mature woman the living room.

After a few minutes, the handsome male exits his room and walks down the staircase leading to the living room. Arriving there, he sees the beautiful woman going through a bunch of files and documents. Then her phone buzzes on the table, notifying her that she had received a message.

Dropping her workload, she picks up the phone, unlocks it and reads its content.

As she's reading, a smile breaks out on her face and she looks up at the male watching her.

"Mommy, who was that?" The apparent son of the woman asked.

"Fufu, it was my mom, your grandmother" She replied.

"What did she say that made you so happy?" He asked again.

"Well I told her you want to play volleyball in Japan and she agreed."

"Okay?? What does that have to do with anything?" Confused, he tried to make sense of the information given.

"You need someone to watch over you and I don't trust anyone except a select few including our family. I would love to go with you but my work needs me here so your grandma will be replacing me until I'm able to join you over there." Shrugging her shoulders, she explained.

"Oh..ohh.. I see. Understandable. Very well, I will miss you mom." Walking towards her then hugging her.

"Mhm, me too. You'll be going during the start of the next school year. Until then it's me and you alone time." Smirking, she released her son and brought him to a secret room.

Time skip 6 months later.

Daniel is seen at the airport, waving goodbye to his mother, maid and aunt. His mother sporting a warm loving smile. Alisa letting a few teardrops fall down her emotionless face and his aunt, Rylie bawling her eyes out at his departing figure.
