Stay Hidden, Luna

Claudia and her brood of blood-thirsty newborns arrived at the Devlins mansion, surrounding the grand home looking for Diana. The original vampire have waited enough for the revenge she has been longing to do ever since her supressed powers have worn out. She certainly believes that Diana worked with the nagua to capture her, and that her blood is a threat to their kind. At the mansion's ballroom, the strongest newborns held Kate captive under the command of their maker to lure Diana out.

"Diana!! Don't go in here!!", Kate bravely screamed as loud as she could to warn Diana not to come out.

"Oh please.. Make it even louder so she could hear.", Claudia inched her face on Kate's neck as she grazed it with her sharp fingernail. Kate muffled her cries as she stood in the middle of the blood-hungry newborns. Feeling trapped and helpless, Kate could only shout for Diana not to come out no matter what.

"We don't have all night to wait here", Claudia whispered in her ear.

"Claudia, I don't think the woman is gonna come out. Can we just take a bite on this fresh blood", a newborn seethe on Kate's hair.

"Don't you touch me!", Kate swatted its hand as she glared at the red-eyed vampire.

Claudia grabbed Kate be her hair and licked her face. "You're one brave soul. Let's see how long will you keep up", she whispered.

Upstairs on the balustrade overlooking the newborns who were guarding Kate, Roman Scott and Diana hid in the dark as they plan for the best thing to do.

"I have to save her", Diana said as she worry for the safety of her bestfriend.

"And what Luna?", Roman furrowed his eyes at Diana. "They will slaughter you on sight. They will not think twice, they will have no remorse. And with an original vamp hunting you, she'll make sure you'll die a slow painful death", he convinced Diana to choose an option that's best for her to stay alive.

"There's too many of them. How can the both of you fight them all off?", Diana worriedly said.

"Luna, you forgot. We're Alphas", Roman smiled at the Diana as he imply that they are the strongest in their clans. "So, any bright ideas?", he asked Scott.

"Scott? Are you okay?", Diana asked as she sees unpleasant emotion painted all over his face.

"Sorry, love. I'm the one who got you in this mess.", Scott said as he held her hand tightly.

"What do you mean?", Diana furrowed her eyes in confusion.

"I freed Claudia. I found her in Tamara's basement, and decided to free her, thinking she's valuable in one of the nagua's incantations. I didn't realized Claudia will be after you", Scott curved his lips down in regret.

"WHAT?", Roman hissed at Scott for his ignorance. "I would kill that original vampire when I have the chance, not free her", he clicked his tongue in agitation. He stared at Scott's and Diana's hands joined together. He couldn't be more irritated.

"Listen Diana, Roman and I can vanquish all those newborns", Scott said as he move towards the wall. "We need you to stay hidden. The vampires won't sense where you are because of your blood", Scott reassured Diana as he open a secret door leading to a closet.

"But how about Kate? She won't give Kate unless she have me", Diana said as she refuse to hide.

"We'll take care of that, Luna", Roman smiled a little as he caress her cheek down to her neck.

In a moment, they heard wolves howling from

a distance. "That's our signal. Stay hidden, Luna", Roman held Diana's hand and squeezed it before he moved away from Diana. He shapeshifted to his wolf form and hid in the shadows.

Scott let Diana enter the closet and kissed her on the lips. "I'll be back with Kate, I promise", he kissed her on the forehead before heading out.

"Be careful, you two", Diana said to the two Alphas who'll be facing an army of vampires as she stayed inside. She sat on the floor and she prayed in her mind until she start hearing growling, grunting and so much fighting. Hearing Kate's screams, she closed her eyes and whimpered silently hoping the night ends with no more deaths.

Back in the Devlins laboratory across the lake, the pack and the rest of the clan have finally controlled the fire. Clearly, the fire was only set on the entrances, seemingly only for catching the crowd's attention as what the clan members assume. With the help of every single wolf in the area, the fire was ceased in a few minutes.

The night is still young, yet so many have happened. The clan members continued to make assumptions why the Devlins lab, which was left unused for several years now, was set on fire. "Was it something related to the old Luna?", one even thought. With divided perceptions, many have agreed to disagree with their own personal beliefs for not all have full sympathy with Lily. Some still sided Diana, and accepts her as the real Luna who needs protection of the clan and the pack.

"So, who started it?", Sebastian breathlessly asked looking all tired from the hustle and bustle. His face was partly covered with dirt and soot as he sat on the ground with the rest of the pack. "There's no one in the lab when I was down there", he said.

"Cory's up for that.", Allen said as he lay on the field with his arms widely spread staring blankly up in the night sky.

"It's good that we just had our moonbath, or else, this'll be extremely tiring", Austin said knowing that after all the fire extinguishers have been used up, they had to run back and forth from the lake to get some water.

"Good for you..", Sebastian gasped for air who missed the full moon after going thru the lab. "I didn't get any", he said as he leaned on David's back who's sitting like a rock.

"Aren't you going to tell us how you found out the Luna was submerged in the lake?", Austin asked Sebastian to kill his curiosity.

Sebastian remembered how fear swallowed his entire body when he saw Diana in a dangerous situation. "I guess.. when someone's too important to you.. You get the right Instincts, then you just trust yourself", he said.

"Umm yea.", Allen nodded in approval. "Seb's really kinda good at that. Good job, Kid", he gave Sebastian a thumbs up.

"So uhh.. Seb, do you like the Luna?", Austin asked. "I've seen you hugging her before. So perhaps, you have an eye for her?", he didn't backed down even if Allen glared at him to stop.

Sebastian frowned at the absurd question. Everyone hadn't known that Diana and him have been good friends, that even for a short while, he have learned to admire her open-mindedness, acceptance and genuine friendship not many of his friends have. And despite he's secretly gay, Diana never judged him.

"Do I like her?", Sebastian looked down as he pluck some grass and toss it around. "Only Diana accepted me for who I am.. She's the only person who saw right through me, and still chose to stay as a friend", he said. He looked at everyone in the eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm gay", he said with a hardened face.

Sebastian never had a lot of friends. His gender preference cost him his circle, where no one stayed to accept who he truly is despite the kindness he showed. He never told his family, for the fear he might get the devastating rejection every single one of his friends did to him.

"I know", Allen said as he shrug his shoulders.

"What?", Sebastian dropped his jaw on the ground as if he didn't heard it right. He shifted his gaze at Austin who had his eyes as wide as saucers.

"Don't look at me, I didn't know", Austin lifted his brows who clearly doesn't know about a thing on Sebastian's gender identity.

"Well.. I have always known. From not attending major events in our clan, and going solo in moonbaths? At first I thought, you hated being with us. But when you moved out from the mansion, I saw the happiness on your face when you got picked up by some guy you even kissed on the lips.." Allen said.

"I know, too", David said as he leaned back a little on Sebastian.

"You too David? How did you know?", Sebastian widened his eyes in shock.

"One night, I saw you at a bar with a guy and.. you were..", David shyly narrated as he pouted his lips making a smooch. "All that.", he said as he smiled.

"So yea, you were not really hiding. You were waiting for us to notice", Allen sat up as he leaned back on his hands. "And some of us did", he said.

Sebastian smiled and looked down on his dirty hands. "I was trying hard not to imprint, that's why I stayed away from all of our occasions. I couldn't imagine myself imprinting on a woman, someone I know I wouldn't dare touch", he said. "Does Scott know?", Sebastian worriedly asked.
