She’s Back

The Luna has been found in a dangerous and least place everyone would expect she could have been. Fortunately, Sebastian arrived just in time to save her. After informing the rest of the clan about the murder of Priscilla, Sebastian together with Roman's pack assisted the Luna back to the Devlins mansion first to assure her security. Reina then took care of Priscilla's body while Sebastian's hands are full.

Boarded on the rowboat, Sebastian and Diana sat comfortably side-by-side in the middle while Roman and his pack occupied the front and back seats. Roman chose a seat facing his Luna, as he glare at Sebastian who's intentionally keeping Diana away from him.

Diana, dressed in a thin laced night dress, shivered from the cold, as her skin turn pale as milk. The breeze that blows at every row cools her body more and more. She folded her arms and tried to warm herself up. Roman was about to wrap his arms around her, when Sebastian got her first. "We'll be home soon, Diana. Hang in there", Sebastian said as Diana jittered her teeth. Breathing heavily, she stared at Scott who remained standing at the dock with a woman clinging on his arm.

Arriving at the Devlins mansion, Sebastian helped Diana get out of the boat. She could barely stand up for she have lost a lot of blood and appetite while being held captive by Damon. Damon, the man he once thought would protect her with his life, took her against her will in her home, and collected her blood everyday for some reason.

"I can carry you if you can't stand up", Sebastian said as he place his arm over her shoulders. Diana shook her head as she walk slowly at a pace she could handle. She just held on Sebastian's waist as she groan in her every step.

"I'm not going to let her stay here", Roman and Gunner followed Diana as they enter the porch while the pack remained at the dock.

Sebastian paused and turned his back to Roman. "Diana's not going with you", Sebastian replied as he keep Diana warm in his arm.

"Then, I'm not leaving without my Luna", Roman said with full authority folding his arms on his chest.

"Suit yourself, Brooke", Sebastian met Roman's angry stare as he clench his jaw.

"Uhh.. Seb..", Gunner stood in the middle as mediated between the two wolves. "You know Diana is our pack's Luna. Roman is just claiming his right to get her", he calmly said.

"I get that, Gunner. But, she's also our pack's Luna. We intend to do the same.", Sebastian replied as he keep Diana close to him.

"Have you forgotten, Sebastian?", Roman scowled at Sebastian. "Your Alpha have chosen his new Luna. What's her name, Guns? Ah yea, Lily?", he squinted his eyes at Sebastian who just got choked on his words. "Scott made his choice. He gave Diana up, chose a new Luna, and moved on with his life. No need for you to protect Diana, because that's our pack's job. She's my Luna", Roman said as he put his hands to side with his fists closed tightly. He was about to radiate his aura when Diana suddenly held his warm hand.

"Roman, enough.", Diana said softly squeezing Roman's hand as much as she could. "I'll stay here for a little while, you can come back for me by daylight", she said.

Roman's face softened at Diana's command. "I can't leave you in a place like this. I already lost you once", he said.

"I'm fine with Sebastian. I trust him.", Diana let go of Roman as she took a deep breath. "Please come back by sunrise", she said.

With so many doubts and hesitations, Roman stared at Diana trying to persuade her from staying at the Devlins mansion, a rotten place where no one is to be trusted. But then, he gave in. Her blue eyes made him give up. "Fine, I'll be here before sunrise. We'll hang around for a bit before we set off", Roman said.

"Thank you", Diana mouthed at Roman with a smile before Sebastian took her in.

Roman, with Gunner, watch Diana as she enter corridors of the mansion. He sighed sharply and said, "This is the last time she'll ever walk away from me again". He regrettably let the Luna stay in a place he hates the most.

While they walk out, he asked Gunner, "I didn't know you're friends with Sebastian".

"He uhh.. he saved my life once. I owe him", Gunner replied.

"Yea right", Roman said as he gave Gunner a soft punch at the shoulder.

"How's the Sigma inheritance going? Can you read minds now?", Gunner asked.

"I have some episodes.. but not yet completely", Roman noticed the frown on Gunner's face. "What?! Afraid that I could hear your mind? Brother, even if I can't hear your thoughts now, I know what's on your mind", Roman laughed as they walk out of the porch. However, their smiles faded when they saw Scott walking towards them.

Followed by Lily and Lucas, Scott glared at Roman before he entered the Devlins mansion. "Wait, aren't we going home?", Lily asked while she held Scott's arm

"I am home.", Scott replied. "This is my home", he added as swat Lily away.

As irritable as he can be, Roman clenched his fist tightly and said, "I'm going to stay".

Scott stopped by the stairs as he turn his back to Lily who was still following him. Lucas had to leave to prepare the funeral for Priscilla. Staring at the woman who everyone thought is his new Luna, Scott didn't uttered a word and just waited for her to say something.

"She's back", Lily broke the silence as she stood upright in front of Scott. "Does this mean.. we'll stop pretending what we are?", she was offered to pretend as Scott's Luna as part of Scott's plan. "What if.. what if I don't want to let you go?", she asked.

"She's my Luna. You're only here for a part that's needed to be played.", he coldly said.

"Can we at least try? Don't you feel anything for me not even a tiny bit?", Lily asked with teary eyes.

"No. You're nothing to me", for Scott, Lily was only hired so everyone would assume that he's no longer interested in Diana. It would be easier for him then to monitor the Devlins every move in search for his Luna. "You may now leave, you're part is over", he said as he went upstairs.
