HYPNOTIZING!

"What do you ask?", Kristia wondered as she gaze at Diana.

"I just want to ask a few things about the Lockwood Family", Diana replied.

"What about, Luna?", Kristia squinted her eye getting puzzled about the Alpha chasing Roman's Luna. She was told they are to settle in the Valley of the Falls temporarily to keep Diana from being stalked by another Alpha. Now that Diana asked about a certain family with an Alpha Bloodline, Kristia started to get her thoughts reorganized.

"Their son, Scott Devlin. I mean.. Scott Lockwood imprinted on me. And.. I just want to know, what happened to his family.. particularly about a curse. I was told, someone named Kristia lived with the Lockwoods. I just thought it was you", Diana explained.

Kristia dropped a porcelain bowl when she heard what Diana just said. She froze and gotten pale as her lips tremble.

"Kristia! Are you alright? Let me clean up for you", Diana stood up and pick up the broken pieces of the porcelain bowl. "Are you hurt somewhere?", she worriedly asked.

Meanwhile, the pack rests outside with Roman who stressfully thinks of ways to apologize to his Luna. "I'm sorry.. no no.", Roman shook his head as he practice under a flamboyant tree with fiery red leaves walking back and forth. "Diana… I'm sorry.. ugh.", he said once again grunting in frustration. "How do I say it?", Roman groaned feeling upset on himself.

"Just go and tell her", Gunner sitting on a tree as he play a twig in his mouth.

"Why would you say sorry, Alpha? She's your Luna", Flyn, Gunner's brother, said as he follow Roman with his eyes while he walk back and forth.

"I heard she was raised as a human, and I don't think the Luna have an idea how it's like when we imprint. She didn't imprinted back, right?", Matt, the pack's absolute private eye said as he lean back on the tree trunk.

"Then just apologize! Is sorry the hardest word to say?", Troy rolled his eyes.

"It is, for the Alpha", Aaron, the pack's blonde silly boy whispered as he laugh lightly.

"Shut up kids, what do you know?", Gunner spit the twig from his mouth down to Troy and Aaron . "Alpha, just do it. The Luna will understand.", Gunner replied as he effortlessly jump down from the tree.

"I don't know, man. She is totally upset, crying and angry kind of upset.", Roman groaned. "It's my fault, but I just can't help it.. her scent is just so..", Roman lowered her head with his hands in his pocket as he kick a few rocks on the ground.

"HYPNOTIZING!", the pack members replied all together as this was the 12th time Roman said Diana's scent is too hypnotizing at a very close proximity.

While each member of the pack give their own perceptions on how Roman should express his regret to his Luna, they heard something broke inside the hut. Roman hurriedly sprinted towards the home, and the closer he get, the clearer he hears Kristia and Diana talking. He pushed the door gently as it makes a narrow opening. There he sees Diana picking up a few broken pieces of porcelain on the floor. He wanted to rush in and help Diana, but he's afraid that she's still might be angry and would just push him away. Roman resisted as he hold himself back. When he was about to leave, he was stunned to hear Kristia spoke of a name he didn't thought she knew.

"Di.. did you say, Scott imprinted on you?", Kristia stammered as she ask Diana.

"Yes, we've been together for quite a while. That's why… wait.. are you the Kristia who took care of the Lockwoods?", Diana asked.

"For the love of the moon goddess!", Kristia exclaimed as she cover her mouth with both of her hands. She then tucked Diana's lose hair behind her ear as she caress her cheeks. "Diana… your life is in great danger with Scott", she warned.

Diana held Kristia's hands and clutched on them tightly. "What happened there, Kristia? Why is that family cursed? How can I help Scott??", she asked one after another as she pin her hopes to Kristia whom she knows holds so many answers to her questions.

"You can't save him.. There's nothing you can do", Kristia replied as she looked down.

"Please help me..", Diana shook her hands in desperation.

"Wherever you go, wherever you hide.. He can track you when the moon is full.. and he'll come for your blood", Kristia said.

"What?", Diana said as she loosen her grip on Kristia's hands. "What happened there, Kristia? Please tell me", Diana plead as she continously seek for answers.

Kristia caught a glimpse of Roman who was listening at the door. She closed her eyes and breathe deeply before she uttered the words. "I was the housemaiden for the Lockwoods for a time.. Alpha Viktor had an iron fist. He exercised his power in the most ruthless way. While Karin had a heart of gold, she was the most giving and kind Luna I've ever known. Together, Viktor and Karin were a good balance of governance and authority both in the house and in the clan.", Kristia clasped her hands together as she narrated.

"Viktor had so many insecurities. During his younger years, before he became an Alpha, he was often bullied and beaten given the fact that he's too slim and quiet compared to the other wolves. When his Alpha blood awaken, he rose and embraced his power as he started to get back on every wolf who belittled him. No one dared to talk back to disagree on the clan's violent Alpha. Even his own son didn't escaped his foolishness and beatings. I could only cry when he punish Scott.", Kristia curved her lips down as it trembled in sadness.

"Way back, he was called the luckiest Alpha when he imprinted on the most beautiful Luna. Karin was undeniably beautiful inside and out.", Kristia smiled when she remembers Karin. "But for me, he doesn't deserve her", Kristia added

"I was there in their bedroom when Viktor told Karin that he made a deal with a nagua. Despite being an Alpha, Viktor still had so much insecurities that he approached a devil to become the strongest and greatest Alpha of all wolf clans. Karin was ultimately bothered, asking what the nagua wanted in return. Viktor didn't know, for he was too ecstatic on the idea that was set to come true. He was told that on the day of the full moon, his power will emerge at its maximum making him what he wished for.", Kristia exhaled sharply as lines on her forehead appeared.

"On the night of the moonbath, we all gathered in the heart of the forest. Scott was left at home for he haven't come of age yet", Kristia's eyes brimmed in fear as she stare blankly ahead. "As the moon shines in the sky, we heard Viktor wail in pain. He scratched his skin as he screamed terribly out of an indescribable feeling… And right before our eyes.. his skin tore apart and his eyes turn to gold. All we can do is watch in fear, as we saw Viktor Lockwood turn into a lycan", Kristia said as she close her eyes.

"Karin and I stood back slowly as Viktor snarled at us. He didn't recognized us, most especially his Luna. Between me and Karin, the lycan directly chased the Luna skipping me who's nearer to him. And that was when I realized, the lycan is hungry for the blood of the Luna.. When the moon waned, Viktor came back to his human form with no memory. Karin told everything about what happened, and so, first thing at sunrise, Viktor went back to the nagua.", Kristia sipped a little water as she wet her lips.

"He then came back with more bad news. He was cursed by the nagua, Tamara. She turned Alpha Viktor to a slave of the moon, with lust and longing for the blood of the Luna.. Unfortunately, the curse didn't ended with him, it is extended to his children and children's children with a twist. The curse will be sparked once they imprint..", Kristia gazed at Diana who's listening intently at her.

"Karin feared for her son. The first thing she planned was not to let Scott imprint. Then, she helped Viktor to gain control and think accurately as he started to lose grip from his mind as the townspeople calls him lunatic… The Lockwoods sought after healers in every town to stop the curse.. One doctor stood out..",

" Daniel Woodsworth?", Diana asked.

"We called him Dr. Dani. He comes only at night so that the townspeople won't be suspicious that the Lockwoods had a deadly predicament. With the help of Dr. Dani, we found out that Viktor is highly sensitive and fearful of silver and wolfsbane. During testing, Viktor would breathlessly scream in agony. On the second full moon, we shackled Viktor so he won't ravage more innocent lives. That doctor did a lot, until he found a cure", Kristia said as she swallow a lump in her throat.

"What's the cure?", Diana asked as she moved herself at the edge of her seat while Roman decided to enter the hut looking forward to Kristia's answer.
