Can I call you mine?

SCOTT POV

I made special plans tonight with my Luna, as I snatch her to the courtyard at the back part of the mansion leading to the lake.

"Come on, we have to hurry. They might be gone.", I held her waist and lifted her down the stairs as we sprinted our way to the dock, where a white wooden rowboat awaits us.

"Isn't your party here?", she asked as she chuckled softly.

"It's too noisy here", I said with a smirk, securing the rowboat in place as I guided her footing in. "Hop in", holding her arms so she won't go off-balanced.

"Where are we going? ", I bit my lower lip at my curious Luna who never stopped asking as she carefully sat on the slide seat of the rowboat.

I paused staring right into her eyes. "To the stars", I said with a smile. Then, I covered her legs with a red checkered blanket I kept in the storage thwart.

She sighed with interjection for not gratifying her curiosity. I still kept mum, not spilling the beans and spoiling the night.

I lit the lamp and hang it up on its holder, before I sat on the opposite slide seat. Removing the mooring line from the dock cleat, I pushed the boat away gently as I started rowing. The placid water rippled in every row, away to the wilderness where no one goes.

The waning moon shone extra beautiful tonight, mirroring itself over the lake, an explicit beauty perfect for a night with my Luna. She closed her eyes as she feel the warm breeze playfully blowing her hair.

She's like the moon who shines even if a part of her is hidden. The moonlight beaming on her, that made her glisten in my eyes, is purely divine and a sight to behold.

Diana touched the water and splashed some on me. Her giggles were like music to my ears, and her smile shine even better than the diamonds in the sky.

"It's too dark.. I can't see a thing. Do you want me to hold the lamp further?.", she worriedly said as she look up ahead.

I replied with a soft chuckle, grinning at my Luna.

"You can see in the dark. Can you?", she asked in bewilderment.

"I do, very clearly", like how I clearly see my future with you, if I could say.

"So.. back in the island, you can see even if I don't use the flashlight?", Diana looking astonished with my night vision.

"I'm afraid to say yes", I said as I refrain myself from smiling.

"Amazing..", she audibly whisphered. "I hope I could do that too", she said with eyes like a kid praying for superpowers.

"I hope one day you would, Luna", including the strong imprint you had for me I thought. I stopped rowing and let the rowboat glide on its own reaching the dock. I exhaled sharply from rowing strenuously.

Diana gasped when the boat bumped softly on the dock. She held tightly on the sides of the rowboat like a cute bunny. I held on the dock and hurriedly tied the rope on the cleat, balancing the boat to stop it from moving too much.

I stood up first with one foot in the boat and one foot up on the dock. Guiding her way up so she won't fall out of the water, I held onto her arms tightly as she hop up.

With the toasty zephyr in flurry, the weather matched my heat from rowing through the lake and being with Luna alone. I removed my white coat to cool down, thinking it would help.

While Diana looked cool like snow walking as she folded her arms. Instead of offering my coat, I held her hand and secured it in my arm as we walk down the cemented path.

"What's in here?", she clutched on my arm as we trudge our way to the pine trees. I realized walking on the ground would be difficult for a lady in heels.

"Let's hurry, they may have left", she gasped when I suddenly carried her in my arms. She's lighter as a feather, compared from the last time I carried her in the island.

"I'm heavy! Please put me down", she plead as she wriggle her body.

"I don't mind", I said calmly, even though my heart is jumping for joy for having my Luna in my arms.

"I might fall…", she said softly.

"I'll catch you, Luna, when you fall ", I saw her blushed and suddenly felt my heart thump.

In a while, she stopped arguing. With her face as red as tomato, she then wrapped her arms around me like she has no choice, while my heart is screaming in triumph.

"So..you have visitors?", she shifted her gaze away when I looked at her.

"Yes", I smiled as I held her tightly.

The farther we go, the more we could see the open field with lush carpet of spongy grass, and a few moonflowers worshipping the moonbeams.

"Luna..", I whisphered to her nodding my head towards the open field. She looked to the side and couldn't hide her astonishment.

"Wow! I've never seen so many fireflies before", she exclaimed in excitement seeing lots of glowing fireflies, pulsing and flashing in the open air.

"Amazing, right? It's mating season, so I suppose they'll be here tonight", I slowly walked further to the all-white shabby picnic setup surrounded by solar light candle lanterns. I had my staff prepare pillows, blankets, a bottle of wine and cheese.

"You did all these?", she asked like I'm not capable of being crafty.

"Anything for you, my love", I carefully put her down, and she sat on the quilt removing her stilletos. Then, I knelt and massage her feet for her comfort.

"My visitors aren't that noisy, huh?, I asked as I knead gently on the soles of her feet up to her bare legs.

"You're guests are fabolous, they can light up the whole place", she grabbed my hand and pulled me to her side to watch nature's light show as I covered her legs with the white blanket.

I opened the bottle of wine and poured it over a glass. "This is light and sweet, it'll fit your taste", handing her the wine glass, and serving her some of the cheese.

"Is it okay to leave your guests in there? They might be looking for you", she gave me a very charming smile after sipping the wine, and eating a chunk of cheese. It seemed, she did liked it.

"Reina invited them, she could handle them.

Besides, I want to spend the night with you, my Luna", I drained my wine glass in one go and poured another round as I breathe sharply.

"So.. you're friends with Sebastian?", trying to mask my jealousy over my brother.

"We met at the.. elevator." she hesitated a little but it's okay. It's not like she'll look at Sebastian like how she looks at me. "I didn't know you're related to my neighbor. He helped me with a little something with Calvin and my stuff", she said as she swirl her wine before drinking it.

"Calvin?", I furrowed my brows as I heard the name of that vampire. "And what about your stuff?, I asked further.

"Calvin went to my place last night to send my stuff over, and let's just say Sebastian saved the day. Sebastian and I hang out in my house after he helped me bring all my stuff up", she said as she drank all her wine.

Right now, I want to rip Sebastian into two and throw him to the lake.

"One day, we'll have to do something about that Calvin.. and maybe Sebastian too", I said as I chugged the wine bottle and laid down with my hands behind my head.

"Are you jealous?", she asked. She drank all her wine and poured another glassful.

I pretended that I didn't hear her, in fear that she might reject me and end the beautiful night too soon.

"So umm.. how do you like the place?", changing the topic so we won't talk about us… yet.

"Calming.. I like how you are close with nature. How do you even find these places? From bioluminescence, to parade of fireflies?", she chugged all the wine once again, laid down on her side facing me.

"Wolves are connected with nature.. We hear the

Earth's sounds, we sense the rise of the tides and we discern the direction of the winds.. there so many magical things that we do, that's hard to explain, Luna", I said as I close my eyes.

"Like the imprint?", she asked. I opened my eyes and turned to her.

"Diana.. may I ask a question?", I took a deep breath before I ask the make it or break it question. She stared at me blankly, as I feel her breathing shakily.

"Can I call you mine?", I closely look at her striking sapphire eyes which are focused on me.
