The lonely hours continued

Kids still tease me, but it gets worse every day.

I have been very lonely ever since Becky was out of my reach.

Carly on the other hand has been hanging out with me since Christmas Break. She even gave me a ring to prove that I was hers.

I didn't belong with Carly. I belong to Becky and Becky only.

Carly keeps on leaving notes on my locker for a meeting. One day she didn't leave a note on my locker.

I went to Carly's locker. What I found wasn't pretty.

Carly was kissing some other boy.

I walked away from the scene.

Carly surprised me by coming to my lunch table.

"Hi October." Carly says.

I didn't respond.

"October what's wrong?" Carly asks.

I still didn't respond.

"Is it Becky? I mean come on! She has to deal with a little jealousy." Carly scoffs

"You set me up? You just ruined the deal for the school to end the feud!" I snap.

"For one, don't snap at me and two she won't end the feud. It's in their history." Carly screams.

"Well I'm sorry, but I don't want to see you again." I state.

"You don't break up with Carly Jane Hull for a girl that doesn't even love you." Carly snaps.

"She does love me. She told me herself." I reply.

"October, you are the biggest loser I have ever met!" Carly yells.

"Bye Carly." I say.

Carly grunts and leaves the table.
