Chapter 32: A young boy

Without a doubt, the blueprint was very expensive in the early game. Yang Feng was very happy with the blueprint. Yang Feng would be satisfied even if he only got the blueprint.

After Yang Feng kept the blueprint in his inventory he suddenly slashed the neck of the bandit instantly killing him.

Yang Feng approached his soldiers who were resting and ordered the execution of the bandits. This order surprised other soldiers and started to pity them. The bandits who were captured heard then too.

One of the bandits suddenly grabbed the leg of Yang Feng and said with tears in his eyes "Please don't kill me I have a family"

Yang Feng looked into the eye of the bandit and killed him without any hesitation.

Other soldiers also executed the bandits as Yang Feng ordered but they were sympathetic towards the bandit who said he had a family. A soldier may be ready to die on the battlefield but they were always hunted by the fact they won't be able to see their wife, children and family. This was common among the soldiers who always thought what would his family do without him??. Who would feed his family in his absence??. Being a soldier was without a doubt a great pride but what came with great pride was a great burden.

A young boy who was captured as slave approached near Yang Feng and kneeled on the ground while crying.

Yang Feng thought the boy thought he would kill them too so the boy came to beg him like the bandits so when he was about to comfort the boy, the boy said: "Thank you for killing him". Women immediately came and kneeled begging for forgiveness "Please don't kill him he is still young. You can kill me instead". Yang Feng ignored the women and while everyone thought he would kill them for showing such behaviour he asked: "Aren't you afraid of me killing you right now??".

The young boy said looking straight in the eyes of Yang Feng "I don't care even if you killed me right now.".

Yang Feng looked at the eyes of the young boy and asked "Why??. The boy said "I no longer have a family. For whom should I live for??"

Yang Feng kept quiet for a moment he realized the boy's family must have been killed by those bandits maybe even by the same bandit who begged him and asked: "Are you willing to be my family??". In the past, he had encountered many boys whose family had been killed but none were fearless like him.

The boy looked towards Yang Feng and asked: "Why??"

Yang Feng slowly said while patting his head "I once had a friend who was very much like you. Like you he too had seen his family murdered by others but unlike you, the enemy he faced was too strong. His heart was filled with getting revenge but the enemy was too strong yet he never gave up and tried his best to get revenge overcoming many challenges and tribulations but in the end, he was killed"

The boy asked, "Was he killed by the same enemy??"

Yang Feng shook his head "No, he wasn't killed by the same enemy but other new enemies and his new enemies are my enemies too"

The boy asked again "So you want revenge for your friend??"

Yang Feng replied "Yes and no"

The boy was confused with the reply but Yang Feng laughed and explained "I want him to get his revenge"

This made the boy more confused "How can a person who is dead get his revenge??".

Yang Feng patted the shoulder of the boy and said "Don't worry I have my means" and looked towards his soldiers slowly asking "So are you with me??"

No one said anything but Guang Fei came at the front and replied: "The enemy of my lord is my enemy" and kneeled.

All of the soldiers followed immediately kneeling and shouted "The enemy of our Lord is our enemy" and a figure suddenly appeared it was Ling Tian.

Ling tian who was hidden all the time appeared and said "I hope the enemies are capable"

Yang Feng smiled and shouted "Then we shall fight the enemy together" and pointed his sword upward.

Yang Feng half-kneeled and said to the young boy "From now on your name is Yang Faolan"
