Another betrayal by beloved

Kiara got into a reputed college. It was a college with diverse culture. She made many new friends. She was able to connect with boys more than girls. She made many male friends. Aiden college was also good, he made new friends too. He was not content with his college. Seeing kaira growing, making male friends made Aiden jealous. She never spoke to boys before except Aiden, now she was laughing, hanging out with them made Aiden very upset. He didn't share how he feel to kaira. Kaira got close to a boy named Mark. Mark flirted with many girls. He flirted with kaira, but she didn't notice him flirting. Seeing her getting close to him, Aiden got mad. He sent threatening text to mark, asking him to stay away from kaira. Kaira got to know about it from mark and was very disappointing. She felt like she was being controlled. She is very sensitive about relationships. She told Aiden she didn't like the behaviour and asked him to apologise to mark. Aiden denied and asked kaira to tell mark she is dating. Kaira wasn't close with Mark and she didn't feel comfortable sharing about relationship with him. Aiden didn't understand it, they argued for days. Kaira explained Aiden and assured him that he loves only him. Aiden wasn't content but he tried ignoring mark. Aiden started focusing more on himself, he started being obsessed with his workout. He started prioritising other things above her. She felt like he is loosing interest. She asked him to give her time like he used to but he couldn't give. She just wanted her time and affection, he started not giving her time much. She started asking help from mark instead of Aiden, as he wasn't available for her. She loved Aiden alot, she could feel Aiden going far from her and it started eating her from inside. She tried connecting with Aiden, to solve whatever there is, but Aiden was like a close book. He only talked about his body, his gym, his obsession. He stopped appreciating her, stopped flirting with her. They had another argument when she felt he wasn't giving her attention, she asked him if he lost feelings for her. He replied I don't know. Those words broke her. He promised her forever, now he had no feelings for her. She felt betrayed and broke up with her. She was angry at him, at her own self and also at God for her fate in love. She loved him like a family, he was her best friend, partner in crime, personal diary. She cried and blamed Aiden for breaking up, for suddenly loosing feelings. Mark texted her asking about academics, she helped him. It felt like a distraction. She started talking alot with Mark. Days after her breakup, Mark proposed, kaira wasn't herself, even though she barely knew him, she agreed. Mark loved Kiara alot but it was mostly one sided. Kiara enjoyed that one sided love for few days. When she realised she didn't like mark, she felt guilty for breaking Mark's heart and didn't tell anything to him. She stayed in relationship and went extra to help mark with anything he need due to that guilt. She was very caring, whenever they went on dates, she paid. Whenever he needed help with assignments, she wrote and gave. Whenever his bike broke down, she walked with him. These efforts were one sided, mark didn't put much efforts but he loved her. Mark and kaira were best friends but were never meant to be in relationship. Mark once tried kissing her, she didn't react. She felt nothing but didn't react. Mark was in perfect relationship, he was pampered, kissed. Whenever he was in trouble, kaira would get him out. Kaira knew she loves Aiden and used to miss him everyday. The guilt of being in relationship with Mark but being in love with Aiden was too much for her. She was just going with the flow. Mark wanted to go for park date, she agreed. While walking, mark leaned in to kiss while recording in his phone, she panicked but due to that guilt, she let him. After days of being in relationship with Mark, she managed to keep the relationship non physical. Mark was soft hearted, he didn't mind much. She found bestfriend in mark, they did many things together. They went to extra class together, sat together during class, sharing food during lunch. She would explain him topics during exam, they would study together. They would chat all night. She was like a stress reliever for him. She would listen all his problems, would give best advice. Whole college knew they were a couple and everybody adored them. But kaira was in love with Aiden, she couldn't hold it in any longer, so she texted Aiden that she miss him and also she love him still. She told Aiden about mark. Aiden told her to break up with Mark and then we will sort things out together. Mark saw these messages on her phone, got angry and left. She tried talking to mark, he abused her verbally. He slut shamed her. Since she was guilty she agreed to silently walk away. She broke up with Mark and told Aiden. Aiden told her to block mark. she couldn't block mark, because mark had no other friend. He would go in depression if she blocks her. Mark asked her to remain friends, she agreed. She tried explaining the situation to Aiden but Aiden didn't agree. She felt very bad for dragging mark but she blamed Aiden. If Aiden would never leave her, she wouldn't be angry and she wouldn't have involved mark. Aiden asked her to slowly get distant with Mark and then later block him, she agreed. Aiden and Kiara got back together but things weren't same. He didn't trust her, he checked her phone every time. Kiara loved Aiden and was also guilty for kissing another guy. She didn't tell Aiden about the kiss. Aiden was very protective, he didn't give her much attention, like he used to before. She noticed changes but thought he would be back to normal soon. She tried making things normal between them but he was dry. One day while he was going through her phone , he saw the video of mark and kaira kissing.He got very angry, he blocked mark from kaira's phone. He confronted kaira, she told him she is guilty but it isn't cheating since they weren't dating while she kissed mark. Aiden lost his complete interest in relationship but he didn't break up. He loved her but couldn't express. He started ignoring her more. She apologized tried explaining him. But things weren't getting normal. He wasn't putting any efforts. Aiden started flirting with his classmates. He held hands with his female friend and sent a picture to kaira. Kaira felt heartbroken but she felt like she deserved it so she let it go. He started hanging out with girls more. He carried their stuff around, offered girls for free ride. She knew everything but kept quiet. He was getting physically close to many girls, and told kaira about it. Kaira was in guilt so she didn't tell him anything. One day his cousin asked him to sneak into her room, to help her cut her hair. He went inside her bedroom and cut her hair. He relayed this story as something he is proud of infront of kaira. Kaira was heartbroken when he said, " it was same like when I sneaked into your bedroom, the only difference was this time I wasn't caught". She felt heavy hearted and kept quiet. She thought she deserved it all. Aiden was getting on her nerves he would daily hangout with his female friends, talk about them all day. Kaira stopped meeting Aiden. Whenever he asked to meet her, she would say any excuse. She felt like if he is meeting every girl what difference will it make if he meets her or not. She wanted Aiden to get back to his senses. She didn't want to loose him. She loved him alot. But Aiden wouldn't stop expressing his happiness when he is around his female friends. Kaira lost her only friend in college, mark. She felt sad. But she couldn't express it since it would offend Aiden. Aiden didn't notice that she stopped expressing herself. She stopped talking much. Kaira was head over heels in love with Aiden but seeing him disrespect her, not treating her good made her feel very low. She started avoiding Aiden, they didn't speak for weeks. Aiden didn't care to drop a text, kaira didn't want to text him first as always. Weeks later she was done with his treatment, she didn't tell him anything she just blocked him every where. He noticed it after 2 days, texted her to meet. She told him to leave. He left silently and wished to never come back. Kaira was done being hurt by men, she decided not to date anyone. She decided to focus on herself. She wanted to turn on a new leaf.
