Lexa did her best to keep her heart calm as she stared squarely at Lord Riku. By his side, Lady Shizu was staring at her just as eagerly as if sizing up the competition, all while having a piece of fruit in her hand as she casually ate. And while she wasn't a proud woman at heart, she couldn't help but feel both flattered and alarmed that a Champion was looking at her like she was any sort of competition.
Yes, she knew that Lady Shizu had her eye on Lord Riku. And while she wouldn't dare voice out the fact that she would certainly not mind of the male Champion whisked her away to be his wife, she would still admit that she was far from adequate for such a man like him. Not when he had a fellow Champion that eyed him similarly and was more exceptional than her in every single way.
So no, she wasn't going to push her luck. She was already blessed to be in their presence. She didn't want to risk it by thinking she'd be a suitable partner to one of the Gods' Chosen.
