Explanation and Recruiting.

'Stop playing around. I'm not stupid. There are a lot of worlds that would be safer and I could have been in way less danger.'

The HxH world relies heavily in Nen, which is a technique that allows a living being to use and manipulate their own life energy (known as aura). This is something you need for your future, if you want to become strong, you need to fight your fears. Starting with Hisoka.

"Fufufufufufufu." I laughed. 'I don't know what is going on within my head. Hisoka might have made me doubt myself. However I will never stop on becoming stronger. I'm overthinking it to much. I ignored her and turned to Vergo and told him. "We need to recruit a new member. In this world there are so many interesting people, however, we need a chef." I told him before I got up and got out of the room.

Vergo followed me until we got through the restricted area, after all, we simply do not give a fuck. After roaming around the place for a few minutes, we found the one who we were searching for. We found Menchi in one of the hallways.

"Ehm. You two shouldn't be here. I can disqualify you two from just for being in this area." She said.

"It doesn't matter. I want to talk to you privately." I was being serious.

She looked at my eyes and sighed. "It doesn't look like you will take a no for an answer. Fine, follow me." She said before she began to walk in front.

Following after he, she eventually took us to a living room that was reserved for Hunters examineers only. After entering inside the room, I sat on the couch. Menchi, sat in front of me while Vergo stood behind me.

"I want you to join my family." I was direct.

"... Hahahahahahaha. That was funny... Wait." It seems that she saw that I had a serious face. "Are you being serious?" She asked.

This made the veins on my forehad pop. "Yes, Menchi. I'm being serious. Aren't you tired of people making fun of you for being a Gourmet Hunter? If you become a chef in my family, people will learn to respect you." I said.

"Are you sure that you can accomplish such promises? Besides, I also want to know what do you think about the people outside of your family." She said.

"They don't matter. The people outside my family are simple pawns. I will not kill them without the need, however, should they provoke me or make fun of my family they will die."

"Hmm. I don't mind joining your family." She suddenly said.

This surprised me. "Fufufufufufufu... Are you for real? You do know that we massacre any oposition. We take whatever we want by any means necessary. I thought that by the point you heard that, you would refuse the invitation." I confessed.

"I don't mind such things. I'm a Hunter, after all. Being a Hunter pretty much means that you can do anything you want to achieve your desires. As long as you dont dirty the association's name they really don't care.

I have killed multiple times to get the ingredients to make my food. Some were innocent, some weren't. I never really cared. However, the disrespect that Hunters show to our group, sure is annoying." She said.

"Fufufufufufu. You are welcome aboard then." I smiled.

"Not yet. I'm not going to join you, at least for now. I am only going to join you if you become a complete Hunter. After all, I'm doing an investiment here." She crossed her legs.

"Fufufufufufufu." I laughed as I got up. "Becoming a Hunter will be simple." I said.

"I will not make your examination easy." I ignored what she said and almost got out of the room, however, before doing it, I said. "You are lucky that we are recruiting you. If it was anyone else, laughing at my family, they wouldn't have lived to tell the story."

"You are far too young to threaten me." She said.

After walking out of the room, I joined the other hunters in the waiting room and waited until we reached the Split Mountains. After we arrived there, every examinee got out and Menchi went in front to explain what will we have to do.

"Your job is to get one of the Spider Eagle's eggs. They are hanging on the webs deep in the valley. If you fall, you die." After she said that, she did a live demonstration.

She jumped down the valley and got one of the eggs. Then, she used the uphill wind to get back to the top with the egg in hands. I did not even hesitated and immediately jumped right after her.

After doing this, I landed on one of those webs. I could hear other hunters jumping too. Gon gave a signal and everyone jumped right after him. Taking the oportunity to grab the eggs. A few idiots jumped before the signal and now they are dead.

After Gon grabbed an egg, he waited until the wind went uphill, then he jumped. Since I knew that Gon's judgement was right, I followed right behind him and returned to the where we were.

Throwing the egg at Menchi, I turned around and walked away. "Fufufufufufufu. Menchi, it is only a matter of time until you join me."
