after doing mana control for more than two hours Eric was finally able to stand up.

although he was still weak, he still wanted to try out his new ability as well.

Eric walked near the wall as he stared at the shadows far off in the hall. there was no shortage of shadows as there were many chandeliers hanging on the ceiling.

Eric locked his at the particular shadow of the pillar as he stepped inside the nearest shadow.

The moment he stepped inside the shadow it was dark for a second and then he saw light again.

he was standing on the shadow of the pillar which he used as Target.

"wow!"

Eric exclaimed as he saw the place where he teleported from. it was 200 meters from here.

Eric noticed another thing. his mana has depleted considerably if he had to put it in words then, he could only teleport like this for about 30 more times after that he will be mana exhausted.

Eric drank one more health potion and decided to move forward as there was no other way.

After walking in the hallway for a while Eric was once again standing in front of the door. the same as the one at the entrance but with much more detailed runes.

Eric covered himself in [ stone armor ] and prepared for any attack which might come his way. but much to Eric surprise there was no attack after opening the door instead what welcomed his eyes was glorious throne room.

Walls decorated with red and black curtains, a red carpet with golden boundary leading toward what eric could only describe as a majestic crimson gold throne.

And on the throne was an extremely handsome man . his features were as if God sculpted them himself. his long obsidian black hair, sharp nose, pale skin and body that's not too bulky and not too lean.

But there was one thing peculiar about him. he was bound by chains, chains which were bounding him to the majestic throne.

Eric stepped inside the room with an astonished face. after entering Eric found out that the room was decorated with even more things.

There were artifacts scattered around the room and painting hanging on the Wall.

one of the paintings even had demons and angels fighting for supremacy.

But Eric did not stare at them for long. he was not here to sightseeing he needed to get out of this place.

Eric looked at the man sitting on the throne once again.

There were several cases of humanoid monsters attacking awakeners in the dungeon .

but what if that man was not a monster instead just a normal human being. Eric didn't want an innocent's blood on his hand but then again seeing the chains around him he also understood that, that man was not simple.

there was also a high chance that the man on the throne was the dungeon monster.

before doing anything else Eric decided to check if the man was even alive or not.

he moved toward the man slowly and cautiously. after getting close enough he checked if the man was breathing.

'he's not breathing'

after checking the man's breathing, Eric checked his eyes. man's eyes were blood red, they were slightly sink inside the eye orbits, and his cornea was also blurry clearly indicating that man was dead.

"if his alive even after all of this then he is not a human "

Eric got rid of all the hesitation and burned the man with Chaos fire.

seeing the man burning Eric was shocked. it has already been more than one minute yet the man was still burning.

One had to know that the demonic dogs which Eric killed earlier were C+ rank and it only took chaos fire less than ten seconds to turn them into ashes.

seeing that man was still not close enough to turn into ashes, Eric was glad that he decided to kill him if that man was alive he probably wouldn't have to even lift his finger to kill Eric.

observing that the burning man was taking time, Eric decided to check out for the artifacts.

when the dungeons were first raided people had found treasure chests at different locations inside the dungeon.

in those chests there were many things like magical artifacts, mana core, ability crystal and skill crystal. artifacts and mana cores were normally what people found in treasure chests, ability and skill crystal were very rare. so much so that even families like Alastair's had to think twice before giving these away.

and to identify the grade of artifacts you just needed to say the word [ Item information ]

As Eric looked around he noticed that nearest to him was the blood red crown.

Eric picked it up as he checked its attributes.

Eric exhaled as he saw the attribute of the artifact.

'it truly deserves its rank'

The highest level of potions could only increase regeneration speed by 2 times and that too temporarily. And they were not cheap single high tier potions would cost more than 5 million credit. you could buy a large house inside the inner midgard in around 100,000 credit. that's how expensive these things were.

Eric put chaos fire on the crown as he absorbed this ability. there was no need to think twice about it, getting healed five times faster than normal people was already good enough not to think about mana and stamina regeneration.

he had already absorbed the low tier health, mana and stamina potions so he could already regenerate them 30% faster.

now with the ability of this artifact Eric would be able to regenerate them five times faster.

Eric didn't know about health or stamina but a normal person would need at least a day to regenerate his mana whole without the use of mana potions and mana control. with the use of mana control they could regenerate mana in about 3 to 4 hours.

so by adding his whole buff in Eric could refill his mana in less than 30 min. not like he needed it as he already has his ability.

soon the crown was burned whole as Eric got the notification.

Other than the increase in multiplication factor nothing changed.

Eric now shifted his attention to another artifact. black armour, and spikes on shoulders

with red edges.

Eric laughed madly after seeing the attribute of the item. The moment he noticed the rank of artifact he knew he had hit the jackpot.

he was so happy that he actually thought of hugging Maverick after leaving this place.

Eric couldn't help it, SS+ rank artifacts were just that impossible to find. there were actually only two of these in the whole midgard. one was within his family and another was with [awakeners organization]

this was the reason for Alastair family's number one position in all the families.

and awakeners organization control over all the unaffiliated awakened people.

to think he would have the artifact of the same level.

Eric calmed down as he put the chaos fire on the armour.

it took about three minutes for armour to burn whole. and Eric got the notification which he was impatiently waiting for.

Eric was surprised that even the durability of the item has turned into ability.

putting the thought behind Eric moved toward the next item. but before he could check its attribute, Eric felt the room shaking, soon the shaking stopped and Eric looked toward the throne.

Now on the throne there was nothing but ashes of the man. and the chains which were bound to him were hanging in the air.

and Eric got the notification.
