Guys Night

When I leave the bathroom I go to the food table and get some snacks, then walk a bit away from it, as I see y/n walking over.

I want to talk to her, but I don't think I can.

It'd get way too awkward, way too fast.

She gets some food and looks around, luckily, I think she doesn't see me.

Alya comes over and asks if she can talk with Ladybug and I.

I agree and follow her to the other side of the room, where Ladybug's at.

I look back to the food table and catch sight of y/n leaving with a girl, who I assume is her friend.

After the interview with Alya, I tell Ladybug I'm not feeling well and that I need to go home.

It's technically not a lie, I really am feeling weird.

She says she wants to leave anyway, so we make our way to the exit.

We say goodbye and go our separate ways.

When I get home I jump through the window.

I had to transform, take off my suit, which apparently has a zipper, then put on my party outfit.

If I'd needed to fight I would've had to detransform, then transform again, it was a big hassle that I hope I don't have to do again.

"Uuuuugghhhh I need cheese!!!!" Plagg immediately complains.

I just laugh at him and get my phone.

I quickly go to Nino's contact and text him.

I put my phone away and Plagg flies in front of me, he was sitting on my shoulder watching what we said.

"You're being so bad! It's about time! I need some good drama, other than your dumb girl problems."

"Plagg! I don't have 'dumb girl problems'!"

"You keep telling yourself that. Now, how are you gonna get Nino in here?"

"With a rope I made before I got you." I say as I poke him.

"Ohh, so you've always been a little rebel? How come you've never told me this before?"

I shrug and go find the rope I'd sewn together using my dad's scrap fabrics, there's no way I'd have been able to get a real rope, so I had to make do.

It's perfectly safe, I've used it plenty of times.

I tie the makeshift rope onto one of the couch legs and have it waiting.

Nino texts me that he's here so I tell him to get as close to my window as he can.

He texts back that he's there so I tie a big trophy on the end and text him to look out, then throw it.

Nino grabs the fabrics and I pull up while he climbs, and after a few minutes he gets inside.

"Geez, Rapunzel. I wasn't expecting that!" He says while laughing breathlessly.

I laugh at him and we sit on my bed.

"So what is so important that I had to climb up that crazy rope?"

"Well, I'm having a love crisis, and you're the only one I can I talk to about it."

"Oohh, a love crisis? Duude!"

"Yeah. It's a long story."

"I didn't climb two storeys for nothing. Tell me!"

I chuckle at him and start, "Ok, so there's this girl, I've liked her for ages now, but she's never returned my feelings. But around 3 weeks ago I met another girl, we've become super close and I think I really like her, but I also really like the first girl."

"Wow. So first of all, I need some names, because this is gonna get confusing."

"Ok, the first girl I like we'll call L, and the second girl Y."

"Dude, why can't you just give me their actual names?"

"Umm, they are very private people."

"Whatever. Anyway, tell me more."

"Well, I've liked L for so long now, and I've obviously had other fans and people come up and ask me out, but I always turn them down because of L. I've never been able to think of myself with anyone besides her. But now, Y has come into the picture, and I've already found myself getting flustered, blushing, and other stuff that I've only ever felt with L. What should I do?!"

"Dang bro, that's rough."

"Yeah, that's why I called you."

He laughs and says, "Well, if you've fallen for Y so quickly you must really like her, especially since you already like L, but on the other hand, you've liked L so long."

"Yeah, I mean, I really like Y, and I want to keep her as a friend for sure, no matter what happens, but I also really like L, and I also want to keep her as a friend, so I'm stuck. I've already told L that I like her, so if I tell her again it won't make anything awkward. But if I tell Y I like it'll definitely make things awkward."

"Wow, that's a really tough decision. Maybe you should try with L one more time, and see how that goes. If she turns you down, go to Y, but if L accepts, then you don't have to think anymore. But I guess you'd still like Y, so I don't know how long you and L would last."

"Good plan, but I don't want Y to feel like she's a rebound girl."

"She probably won't if she likes you anyway. Wait, does she like you?"

"I'm not sure, I have flirted with her without even thinking, and she never seemed weirded out by it, and tonight, we were together and almost kissed, but there had been a slow song playing on the radio, and then a fast one blared out and scared us, so we didn't."

"Hmm. A kiss could have really helped you, you can just tell from them, if it's with the right person, you just feel a kind of rush. I don't know how to explain it."

"And how many people besides Alya have you kissed?!"

"None... But that doesn't matter!"

"Ok, ok."

"Have you ever kissed L?"

I think back to when we fought Prime Queen, Nadjia showed us a picture of Ladybug and I kissing, but I don't remember it. And then when we fought Oblivo, Alya showed us a picture of Ladybug and I kissing. But I don't remember it.

So what do I tell him?

'Yes, but I don't remember.'?

"Um, no."

"Well. I don't know man, I guess just ask L one more time and see how that goes. But don't blame me for any broken hearts!"

"Broken hearts... Nino, you're right!"

"About what?" He looks very confused.

"What if Y really does like me, but then L actually says yes, and Y is upset?!"

"Oh gosh, I didn't think of that. Maybe ask Y first then? Since she's never turned you down?"

"Maybe. But then what if L finally does like me!?"

"DUDE! I don't know, just ask the first chick you see!"

"Ok. I will. Thanks Nino."

"Sure thing bro, don't forget you gotta tell me what happens!"

"I will, don't worry. Now you better get home, we still have school tomorrow!"
