Girls Night

You go searching for bff/n during the party, and find her dancing with a different person than before.

"Bff/n! We need to talk!"

"Ok, can we just finish this song first?"

"Fine."

You go back over to the food, hoping to eat away your mixed emotions.

You spot Ladybug not too far away, somewhat glaring at you.

You gulp and look away, trying to find bff/n, but instead find Cat Noir.

He's not very far away from you, but he hasn't seen you.

You think.

But you don't need to think anymore because the same girl who interviewed Ladybug earlier comes up to him and they talk for a minute, then walk towards Ladybug.

You sigh, still unsure of everything.

Finally the song ends and bff/n finds you.

"Hey! So what was it you wanted to talk about?"

"We need a girls night. Now."

"What? Why? The party's still going strong, why do you wanna leave?"

"It's complicated, we can't talk about it here as well as needed."

"Ok, ok. You better be glad I love you!"

"I am!" You laugh at her.

She tells her most recent dance partner goodbye and gets his number, then the two of you leave and go to your house, since it's closest.

"Hey girls, did you have fun?" Your mom asks when you walk in.

"Oh yeah! It was great!" You quickly reply then rush to your room.

Luckily bff/n leaves clothes over so she doesn't have to stay in her party outfit.

After changing into something more comfortable, you both pile into the bed.

"Ok, now what is so important that we had to leave?" Bff/n asks.

"Whew, where do I start? Hm, well, I may like a really good friend, but I'm not sure."

"Eeekk!! Y/n!!" Bff/n squeals.

"So who is it?!" She asks.

"Wait! Don't tell me! Is ittt... Cat Noir?!" She's hit the nail on the head.

"Yeah..." You say and look down.

"I knew it! Wait, you don't look too happy about it?" Bff/n notices.

"I'm not, he's like my second best friend- next to you of course- and I don't know if he likes me..." You trail off.

"Listen y/n, I saw how you two looked while dancing. I think he likes you! Besides, who wouldn't like you?"

You smile at her and say, "Yeah, that's what Ladybug was saying, I gotta talk about that too, anyway, she said that she thinks Cat likes me, but that it probably isn't a good idea for us to date."

"Why not? Does she like him?"

"No, well, she says she doesn't. And Cat said she always turns him down if he asks her out or something."

"Hmm. Maybe he's moving on from her, and liking you?"

"Maybe... But he's always seemed to like her so much!"

"Well, he might like you more!?"

"I don't know, do you think so?"

"I already told you, yes!"

"Hmm. And that brings us to the next topic, Ladybug's 'warning'" You put air quotes around 'warning'.

"What's with the air quotes?"

"Because I'm not sure if that's what we should call it."

"Then what would you call it?"

"A threat."

"WHAT!?"

"Yeah. She told me that we probably shouldn't be together with him as Cat, but maybe we could as civilians, and asked if I thought I might know him, then she completely turned around and told me that it would be better to date with him as a superhero, and if I tried to find out his real identity she'd make sure we never saw each other again!"

"Oh. My. Gosh! That's crazy!"

"I know! She completely flipped her tune, and her lid!" You laugh at your corny joke.

"But seriously, how would she even know if I found him out?"

"Dunno. Maybe he'd tell her?"

"Nah, not if I tell him what she said."

"Oh, yeah."

"So what do I do?"

"Well, next time you see Cat, talk to him about it!"

"Ok. I'll try. But he ran off earlier after we danced, he may not come back anytime soon. The way he left makes me think he doesn't like me."

"Maybe he left because he was embarrassed?"

"I guess that's a possibility."

"It is. That's probably the reason, don't worry."

"Easy for you to say!"

She laughs at your dramatics and pushes you playfully.

"Wait! I just thought of something!" You exclaim.

"What?"

"What if Cat doesn't like me in that way, and then if I say something it's so awkward we can't be friends anymore!?"

"Y/n, I'm sure that won't happen. Even of he doesn't like you- bet he does though- you'll stay friends since you're so close. Trust me."

"Ok... I hope you're right!"

"I usually am, aren't I?"

You laugh at her and nod.

"Now, how many dates did you end up with?" You ask.

"Umm, I danced with about 7 guys? I think I changed every few songs, but only a few would I go out with again. How about you?"

You smile and say, "Just danced with Cat. But I did get asked by this one guy who, ironically enough, was dressed as a devil. But he was creepy and demanding, so I threw my drink on him, and there's another reason to think Cat may like me!"

"What? He likes that you threw drink on a creep?"

"No, dummy! When that guy asked me to dance, Cat was looking pre-ty angry. Y'know, it's not the first time that's happened either!"

"Ooohh! And not the first time what's happened?"

"Cat getting super angry at a creep. You remember how I told you I was in the Louvre robbery?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, the one guy took me hostage, and Cat freaked out then too."

"Wow. He definitely likes you!"

"Maybe..."

"He does. But do you think that he'd be super jealous? I mean, that's how it seems."

"No, I don't think so. It definitely wasn't jealousy at the Louvre, he was just worried I think. And with the guy tonight, he was pretty creepy, and I think Cat only came over when he grabbed my arm. So no, not jealous."

"Ok good. Cause jealousy is not good for a healthy relationship. Although, it can be hecka cute!"

"I know, I know. Don't worry, he's a total cinnamon roll!" You say, laughing.

Bff/n joins in, then says, "Ok, this may sound weird, but there's something I've been dying to know, how similar to a real cat is he really, I've seen his tail and ears able to move, and I heard a rumor that he could purr! But that's probably just something made up."

"Actually, that's true! One night he took me to the Eiffel Tower, and it was cold so I had a blanket, and we wrapped up together and he started purring! It was honestly super adorable."

"No way! That's so cool!"

"I know, right!"

You laugh and then continue talking about your nights, and everything that's happened, until you eventually fall asleep.
