As the banquet continues, I have met my parents' close friends. Some aristocrats started pairing me up with their sons, nephews, and even grandsons.
But with my three big shot lineup, they haven't even started asking they have been turned down.
My parents always told us that we have to follow our hearts when choosing whom to love.
They don't want us to be forced into entering into a relationship like a business because we will not find happiness.
They always teach us that forcing things to happen will just cause more stress and problems. I also agree with them because you cannot force someone if they don't like you.
My motto in life is that "If you don't like me. I also don't like you."
"Little niece, happy birthday! Uncle will give you an amazing gift."
Finally, they have finished preparing their gift. I am really curious because my charms did not take effect when I ask my brothers what they have prepared for me.
"Little sister, you will like it," Skylar spoke while having a chocolate cake in his mouth.
"Of course! We have even joined forces with second uncle so that we can beat Uncle Allistir and Grandpapa." Iskender rambled.
"Aweshom!" Wymund exclaimed.
"Shht! Cousin Iskender doesn't say that we want to beat them! Grandpapa will beat us in the training later if we beat them." Aleksandro covered Iskender mouth while gesturing his hands.
"Guys, behave! Many people are looking at us right now. Where are your manners?" Alexio lectured.
Second uncle drags me to the garden. There I saw a huge box with a big red ribbon attached to it.
"Here little Evie. Open it."
I pulled the ribbon and when I saw what was inside, I was shocked.
It's a one-horned horse or the so-called unicorn in my last world. But here they call it a winged horse.
One of the books I read says that it can evolve to have wings depending on the owner's mana.
It's like having a familiar but the difference is that you have to tame it with your mana. While having a familiar depends on your character.
"Do you like it little Evie?" Uncle asked me while the boys looked at me, waiting for my reaction.
"Awesome!" I said while clapping my hands.
"Evie loves it," Iskender shouted.
"Wait little sister, I will take you there," Skylur said when I suddenly run towards it.
"Slow down little cousin." Alexio reminded me.
"What name will you give him little cousin?" Aleksandro asks me.
"Hmm?? Name?? How 'bout Sky?" Wymund suggested.
"Oh! So here you are." I suddenly heard my mother's voice.
"We were looking for you," Father said.
"You suddenly disappeared from the hall so we look for you," Grandpapa said while scratching his beard.
"So this is the gift they have given you, little Evie." Uncle Allistir looks at the unicorn.
"A winged horse. A very good gift." Auntie Joana exclaimed.
"Well, without me, these brats will not be able to know where to get one. Aren't Uncle's awesome little Evie?"
Uncle Allaster, are you hogging all the credit?
"So darling, what name have you given it?" Mother asks me while stroking its hair.
"This one is very gentle," Father said while observing it.
"Of course! I'm the one who chose it." Second uncle added.
"My, my, my. Allaster, are you hogging all the credit? I think the boys also helped. Right?" First uncle strutted in front of second uncle.
"Ha! Ha! I think my gift is still the most awesome. Right little one?" Grandpapa proudly said.
"Your not fair, father. Suddenly giving your battle sword." Second uncle retorted.
"Silvanus. I will name him Silvanus." I said.
"That's a nice name, my dear," Father commented.
I also nodded.
This is an awesome day. And I have received so many awesome gifts.
