Karaoke Night?

"Explain your reason." She says tapping her foot.

"The teachers had to lie about where I was from because something terrible happened to me before school started so i had to switch but then word had spread from Crest to other schools about me so that's why my parents had to change where I was from."

Nervously I had my hands together, tightly squeezing them till Li xia noticed and held my hands.

"It alright. I believe you but now people know where you are from. What are you going to do?"

"I'll deal with it. I can be a strong person."

"Alright! And I'll be strong with you!"

We laugh and start to walk back to class but then someone tugs on my shirt and pull me to the ground.

"Xiaoxiao!" Li Xia pulls me up " Are you alright?"

"Mm." I nod and look to see who pushed me.

"Li Li, can't you watch where you're going?"

She turns around and snickers.

"Me? How about you." She puts her finger underneath my chin "daddy's little girl. Huh."

I push her finger away and continue to walk to class with Li Xia. Ignoring her.

She scoffs and walk away with her group of friends.

When we enter the class we both take a breath of relief and start to laugh.

I wasn't looking when heading to my desk and bumped into Zi xin.

"Sorry." I say rubbing my head.

He just smiles and sit down. While all the girls, not including me, starts to fangirl over his smile.

I dig in my bag for my books and journal and a necklace. I got the journal and books but couldn't find my necklace.

I whisper to myself, "shoot!"

Zi xin then taps on my desk, I look over to him and he was holding my necklace in front of him.

"Here," he whispers then placing it on my desk "you dropped it when you ran from the field."

I grab the necklace and hold it against my chest. I then mouth the words, thank you.

I take a look at the necklace then put it around my neck for safe keeping.

Hours later, sitting in that room next to zi xin. School was finally over. I survived my first day, kinda. I put my books in my bag and grab it. Li Xia taps my shoulder.

"Want to hang out with me and some other people? We're going to karaoke!" She says cheerfully.

"Sure. Let me text my parents."

I take out my phone and text my dad.

Me: I'll be hanging out with some friends today.

Dad: Alright be safe my dear! Have fun! Don't stay out so late!

Me: Alright.

I put my phone in my bag and grab onto Li xia's arm.

"Let's go."

We then start to walk off to the front gate and meet up with a group. Two girls and four boys.

"Hi you Guys!" Li Xia lets go of my arms and go into a boy's arms.

"This is Xiaoxiao Lin! She's the new girl!"

"Hi I'm Wei qiang." The guy says tightly holding Li Xia.

"Sasha." The girl with black hair says.

"Linda!" The tiny girl exclaims>

"Wait!" Li Xia says "I'll introduce you guys since you guys are so slow. Xiaoxiao, you now know Sasha, Linda, Wei qiang ;my boyfriend, and this guy is ruhan."

The last guy takes off his earbuds and turn around.

"Oh it's you."

I was surprised, "Zi Xin?!"

"I guess you're hanging out with us today, huh?" He says smiling.

"Y..yeah." I say nervously.
