Seeing the little guy sucking up to Wei Zhan and acting all coquettishly, Wang Zi's face darkened.

'I was going to exterminate that pest Ruo Xi anyways. Seems like this brat Xiao He is going to steal my limelight.' 

If anyone could hear this devilishly handsome man's inner thoughts, they would slap their forehead twice out of frustration. 

"Xiao He, lead the way. That woman needs to pay for what she did." Wei Zhan ordered with absolutely no trace of warmth on her face. That daring woman actually dared to stab her back and made her man lose that much blood!

Meanwhile, in the faraway palace that could be seen from the field, hoards of palace workers were rushing towards the main hall with golden plates on their hands. The contents on the plates could not be seen because of the golden lid on it. But the looks on the maids and guards' faces were of panic and fear. 

"I wonder from whom she copied this refined taste of food from." one of the guards lamented.

"We have already done this three times! This bitch Ruo Xi does not like anything and top of that, she calls herself the queen! She just wants to immitate Lady Wei Zhan." a maid said with disgust on her face. 

"Sshh! Quiet! If someone hears you, they will kill you on spot!" the guard who spoke before warned the maid. 

Just then, a high rank palace guard wearing armour came forward. 

"How dare you badmouth our queen Ruo Xi? Your ugly face and mouth does not even qualify to pronounce her name!" the armoured guard proceeded to ready the whip on his waist to hit the maid.

Just as he was about to hit the maid, a broad back was faced towards the guard. The guard who spoke before took on the hit for the maid. 

The maid's face was in horror and shock as she saw how the guard saved her from the hit. The hit was filled with spiritual power! Even though the power was weak, it was enough to cripple the weak maid! Crippling her meant she would not be able to cultivate ever again! In this world, slow cultivators were shunned, but people without any power to cultivate were not even seen as humans!

"Calm down. Beautiful ladies like you should not be treated like that." the guard said with a suave smile.

"Su Won! Insolent! How dare you block my attack! Do still think you are that slut's subordinate? Let me tell you this, she is dead! Hahahaha! My queen killed her!" The armoured guard mocked.

"How pathetic would it be if I let a weakling like you attack a pretty girl in front of me. Look how your attack scratched my skin!" Su Won complained with his brows scrunched. At this moment, he looked completely like a dainty princess of some nation. His raven black long hair did not help at all! He looked more and more like a devastating beauty! 

Even Queen Ruo Xi was jealous of his beauty, that is why she made him wear dirty guard's clothes. But the clothes did nothing. Instead, the clothes looked like a new fashionable attire on Su Won. 

The armoured guard was now fuming! Scratched his skin? He used his full power in the attack! This brat was clearly playing with him. But alas! He could only nurture his anger and wait to lick the elders' boots later. 

That's right. Su Won was indeed much stronger than him. If not for the elders backing, Su Won would have obliterated Ruo Xi and all her subordinates ages ago. 

The elders of the Yao Kingdom feared Wei Zhan's powers and the mysterious man backing her. For thousands of years, the mountain spirit has chosen the ruler of Yao Kingdom. The elders always waited for their turns to come, but it never did and thus, they decided to control the rulers like their puppets and rule the kingdom from the behind.
