What is your intention?

Many days has passed since Xiao Wei started to work for Wallace. They didn't interact much within this time period of a little more than a week. Wallace was out of the mansion almost all the time. And by the time he came back, Xiao Wei fell asleep.

Xiao Wei was feeling awkward. Why was she even here if he didn't want to interact with her? And angry too. But she couldn't really do much now as she signed a contract.

It was Sunday morning. Since Xiao Wei came to the villa, the butler had been excused. He would only deliver food and clean the premises regularly, so she couldn't really ask him about Wallace. And moving back to her apartment would mean violating the contract. Paying 30 million dollars compensation wasn't much for her, but the contract stated that legal action would be taken.

Thinking about all this, Xiao Wei suddenly heard a knock on her door. Just as she turned, she saw Wallace standing there.

"You didn't go out these days?"

"I did. I met up with my best friend."

"You mean, Yang Li?"

"How you know about her?"

"Just her? I know about the missing years of your life. Who do you think I am?

Xiao Wei was stunned. She didn't expect anyone other than Her parents to know about this. Her past. A past she forgot.

It all happened 2 years back when Xiao Wei opened her eyes and she was in the Zhe family's hospital. Her head felt heavy and everything seemed so unfamiliar. The nurse called the doctor and the doctor came in and immediately stabilized her condition.

"Madam Zhe, Boss Zhe, the Young miss has regained her consciousness after 3 months. This is a miracle." Doctor Ye said calmly. He was experienced and an elderly and extremely respected.

As Xiao Wei slowly got back her composure, Mr and Mrs Zhe lovingly asked their daughter how she was feeling.

"Do I know you?"

Xiao Wei had lost her memories. From that day, the Zhe family started to remind her about her childhood and her family. She still doesn't remember. Everything about herself and her childhood was recited by Mom and Papa Zhe. They really tried their best to help Xiao Wei. Even Yang Li doesn't know about her condition. But she played along anyways. Maybe this is what the Zhe family instructed her to do.

"Excuse me, Mr Yang. I am here to help you. It would be best if you don't take advantage of your position and illness to dig into my personal life. It's none of your business."

The godly man in front her didn't show any emotion to her words. Instead, he just smirked.

"What exactly did you forget? Did you ever personally try to dig into it or try to remember? It's not just a year or two, is it? You forgot your whole life. Tell me, do you really feel whatever the Zhe family told you, is all real?", Wallace questioned her. Every questuin piercing her heart.

Xiao Wei felt a sting in her heart. She knew everything the Zhe family was telling her these 2 years wasn't all real. If it was, like the doctor said, she would've regained her memories. But she enjoyed being loved and spoiled by them. Why didn't she ever try find? Why is she thinking about it now? That's because no one ever questioned her like this. No one even knows about this.

Being asked these questions made her feel like she didn't want to know anything and loved being the princess of a rich family. What if everything changed after discovering the truth?
