Starting a new life

torrential rain poured down the streets of Malibu, California.In a wooden house was a young adult age twenty crying.Karla,name of the girl,had enough of his malicious uncle Tom.Being treated brutally she came up with a plan to flee from her uncle's wrath.Just as usual Tom came in fish drunk bursting the door open.He gave Karla a death stare and beated her.Since the death of her parents,Karla was on the hands of his uncle.As their evening routine,Tom would beat her as a stress reliever.Things were different now,Karla was about to run away with her boon companion,Andrew,never returning back.When her uncle laid down,she took the advantage and packed up her things and left.She ran as fast as her legs could carry her as she feared the dark.She reached a willow,where Andrew had waited for her with bated breath."Andrew I really appreciate your help and someday I will return the favor."She said.Andrew just nodded and soon they both entered a taxi and drove away.Karla held on her locket,it was the last thing she received from her late mother.They both entered the airport and after some few security checks they sat down waiting for their flight A few minutes later Karla made for the rest room to answer the call of nature.After emoting some bowel,Karla stumbled upon her uncle that was fuming with anger.She was scared out of her wits and was hot on her heels.Fortunately,their flight was ready.Karla and Andrew ran to the plane and were able to fly away.After five hours and twenty minutes,they landed on Manhattan,ready for a new life.Karla hoped that she would be able to make her name of her own not knowing the drama that was coming to her.
