CHAPTER 4 ARC 1:The Male Lead is Confusing

They both stood outside in a courtyard surrounded by buildings of a tremendous size.

"This is the courtyard of all the dormitories... both boys and girls." As to give Wayne the idea that he could sneak into the dorms so that he could make the readers happy.

"Curfew is at 7 pm, if there is a sighting of a student past this hour would result in detention," So don't get caught my dear protagonist!

Thank god he skimmed through the book to get information.

Kira pointed at a pathway that leads into a forested area, "That's the lovers walk; its a mile hike and rumors say that if you complete it you'll be together forever." Also the pathway where they all fuck each other for rounds and rounds.

Wayne poofed up in a lovely shade of red, "How Insolent!"

He proceeded by grabbing Kira by his shoulders, "Don't tell me you know that by going there with someone!!"

"What! How can you end up in that conclusion!"

Wayne visibly stepped back and stuttered out, "I do not care about you, I just wanted to know how much of a degenerate you are!!!!!"

This Wayne dude is all sorts of confusing.

Xuezhi flicked his light brown hair behind him and proceeded to walk to a certain direction, while Wayne was shouting all sorts of excuses behind him.

Xuezhi thought to himself, 'Wasn't he supposed to be a peoples person? He's acting weird!'

He stopped to explain something, when a young girl bumped into Lu Xuezhi's chest.

Xuezhi (Kira) therefor he stepped back and landed in Waynes arms due to the force. Xuezhi's hair sprinkled all around Waynes face spreading a unique scent across Wayne's nose. It made Wayne tighten his arms around Kira; burying his lower face in Kira hair and looking not friendly at the random girl. Xuezhi realized that this was, Sara, a kind next door neighbor sort of girl.

Xuezhi remembers that it was supposed to be two of the girls that were showing the main character around in the novel. He pushed out of Wayne's hold and said, "Sara, right? Sorry but can you take care of Wayne? I need to go to the bathroom!" And Xuezhi quickly left.

"Sure! Anytime." Replied Sara as she smiled with her dimples on full display.

Xuezhi fled and didn't look back. A rather cheeky attempt to turn the story back to its course. Getting closer to the main character would be a later worry as he also needs to worry about getting popular himself. It was already 6:30 pm so he decided to head back to the dorm when all of the sudden when he was crossing a dark corner he was grabbed from the shadows.

He couldn't see who it was but they held him against the wall with with his (Xuezhi's) mouth covered.

"You didn't forget about the appointment right?"

"The target escaped and you lost yourself a valuable client."

"What will I tell the boss? Just because you're the favored horse doesn't mean you'll never be put out of commission."

The unknown figure loosened their hold on Xuezhi, "Appear in front of the boss in two days."

Xuezhi stumbled out of the shadows without a thought. He looked at his phone and saw that it was 6:40. He rushed to his dorm to take a bath and to his bedroom.

He closed his blinds and wrapped the towel around his hair.

"Who was that?"

As it was ten minuetes before seven he called put to Kiwi, "Do you know any backstory on my character?"

"Master I thought you would never call me!"

"Loading Information right away….3…2…1"

".... Really helpful, huh?"

"Master! I tried my best! The only known information is from the novel or any extras, posts on the internet, etc!"

"I advice Master to approach this situation with caution!"

"Ugh… Enough thinking about this… What should we do about getting popular?"

"Ding! Ding! Relationship level of Wayne at -70%"

I'm not even talking to him!!!!!

"Anyways Master! You should decide on what to be famous for!"

"Beauty, singing, sports,…..and plenty more to choose from!"

"Ugh.. so much thinking to do…"

He hanged the towel off the chair, as he laid down on his chair while looking at his turned on lamp on his desk.

"Maybe I can do Beauty? My face does seem a little bit prettier."

Kiwi silently logged off as Xuezhi was all tucked in.

"What can I do about that dude? Who knows about his motives…"

Lu Xuezhi drifted off to sleep.
