Entry 9 - A friend (Fubuki)

When we were told that we were going to be taking a break from streaming and going to a house in the country, I wasn't all that particularly thrilled honestly.

No, it wasn't because I couldn't stream, but I had a game I needed to play!

It was an MMO that was recently released and I got so hooked, I remember seeing some trailers and gameplay and I loved it so much I downloaded it on release. I've been playing non-stop ever since.

I've invited some of the members to play it as well, but they're pretty much playing it casually since they've been going on Minecraft and playing construction companies. So I've been mostly on my own.

I still have tons of fun though, since I have a good friend in the game with who I always do quests with. We started around the same time and have been together ever since, we joined the same guild together, we did a lot of farming together, and we raided dungeons together!

We're always a pair, but since I needed to move, I was going to miss out on the event that both of us were super excited for.

They seemed bummed about it as well, but they understood my situation and just wished me a safe trip. They're really nice and even though we have little similarities, apart from the game and some anime, we get along quite well.

I've tried meeting up with them, but they said that they live in the countryside and had no method of transportation to the city. It was a shame but these things happen, but at least we had the game.

Anywho the trip to our new lodgings took several hours, I even fell asleep because it was so long. But apparently, it was a really good place to go to, so the trip would have been worth it.

And it sure was because when I and the rest of 1st gen arrived at the inn, we were staring at just how pretty the place was. It was almost as if I stepped into a fantasy game.

Then when we entered the inn, we were greeted by a pair of familiar faces. Coco-chan and Aloe-chan, so this is where they went.

After we had a long hug the two took us to where we were staying and boy was it massive. Inside were the 0th gen members all waiting for us while scattered in the living room.

Fast forward to dinner time and everyone was enjoying a nice dinner, made by the owner of the inn and Aloe-chan.

When we finished and were just sitting around chatting with cups of tea or coffee, I decided to text my friend to tell them that I could probably play with them since my PC was apparently already set up in my room by Coco-chan.

Now here is where things got really surprising.

See the moment I sent the message, the inn's boss' phone also rang. At first I just thought it was a coincidence so I let it go, but this kept happening between us for a bit before things got interesting when we started talking about the countryside, which then led to their work. Then jokingly I asked:

"Do you work for Aelin inn?"

The answer was yes.

I looked up and saw the boss was also staring back at me… if I didn't know how small the world was before, I sure did now.
