You can be the genius

The water flowed into the sink ..the morning breeze was cool on her fair - overly mosturized skin, her light brown eyes stared into nothing specifically as her chestnut colored hair danced in the breeze .

She pouted her peach colored lips after the remembering of what had happen the day before.

"Good afternoon mom"

"Afternoon Hilly"

Dehila cringed a little her mom sounded stern instead of happy. "mom... i called to ask about my score"

"Hilly forget about it when you get home will talk about it."

"mom what do you mean..?"

"fine, you scored 80 "

Dehila smiled knowing only two other scores where higher than hers before her mom continued.

"But you know what we agreed was 85 and above hilly...your dads not gonna be happy." Dehila's smile slowly started turning upside down while her mother continued like she had totally failed.

"You should have read a bit more ... left those friends of yours, you tried. But you know your father his not gonna be happy."

Then she ended the call abruptly.

The kettle whistled bringing Dehila to the present.

She sighed, she had always wanted this to be the point where they were like oh my God you did well, but it seems like that wouldn't be happening anytime soon.

she took her breakfast and started thinking on what to wear for the end of graduation dinner party. She sat on the chair, then on the stool and then finally on the floor.

She wanted to scream!!, she had an average dress sense and she had no idea what to wear.

Ring!!! came from the door of her little apartment. She stood up from the floor knowing the only People who could be there were Belin and Sasha. She opened the door with an almost crying disfiguredly relieved face, "am so glad you guys are here and totally about to diiiii...erm." she stopped noticing it wasn't just them there vincent happened to be there.

'just perfect!' was the only thing her mind could conjure.

Belin looked from her to vincent "come on don't be like that his here so we can all pick out clothes ."

She smiled knowing dehila also wanted to go shopping and she couldn't refuse, so with

her face all drooped she turned only to see dear sasha snacking on her little peanut butter

"sasha!!!..." sasha only giggled in response.

Some minutes later.

They were at the mall, they has finished buying what they needed and Dehila was truly relieved they came.

They agreed to go to their favorite burger place for lunch before they parted. They entered the cream smelling heaven as they called it, Dehila was almost salivating as it had been long she really ate burger cause she needed to use her money for other things.

Vincent nugded at dehila to sit beside him because the other two friends had sat together on the opposite side. Whenever she looked at those two besties, she remembered her best friend who had relocated abroad , they use to be a mischievous group of four before she left.

But Dehila wasn't about to be reminiscing the past there because she wasn't entirely comfortable at her spot, vincent looked at her for the fifth time since after she sat down.

"Do you want the same as usual or something different today, am paying...?" He smiled to Dehila waiting intently for an answer.

Dehila shifted to her side, to her the smile was ridiculously innocent and she just didn't know why she couldn't believe him or it completely. It was going to take him way more than an apology to get back her trust.

Dehila always wondered whether it was just her, but things that happened to her always felt like she was in a movie. And sometimes she was the female lead and sometimes she was just a side character. She shrugged wouldn't be so bad now would it.

They brought their order to them and the waiter winked at Dehila and both Belin and Sasha giggled and whispered 'oooh!!'.

Dehila smiled a little and turned to vincent who only smirked and took his own piece of the order .

Dehila took a bit out of the savoury burger and wondered "the way he acted meant nothing.... absolutely nothing."

she had no idea she had said the last part out loud till she looked up .

she laughed a bit nervously and looked the other way, she sipped her drink and thought of her wonderfully pitiful relationship life ....
