CHAPTER 7 LATE NIGHT

After work Amelia locked her cabin and left the hospital. She took a taxi and went home. It was dark. She missed Chloe.

She put down her things on the table and went to her room. She took a shower and wore her cute, little, pink colour gown with a pair of socks to keep herself warm. Then she went to the kitchen and made spaghetti for dinner. During eating, she video called Chloe.

Chloe picked up the call in second ring.

"Hey Amaa " said Chloe. Chloe was looking dull. She had dark circles under her eyes as if she hadn't slept for weeks.

"Hi Chloe. How's is everything going ?? Are you okay ?? You look tired." Amelia threw so many questions at her at once.

" I'm okay Amaa. I'm just worried about dad. He is a little upset."

Chloe replied. Although Chloe didn't has a good relationship with her father but still she can't see him upset.

"I can understand it is a tough time for him. Don't worry he's gonna be fine." Amelia assured Chloe.

"I hope so. You tell me how are you ??How's everyone ??" asked Chloe.

"We are all good.I just miss you. The house is not the same without you....." said Amelia making a cute puppy face.

" Awwwwww I loveeeee youuuu Amaaaaa....."

"I loveee you too babe..."

They talked for a while until Chloe's mother called her so she ended the call.

Just when she finished the call Mrs. Mason (Amelia's mother) called Amelia.

"Hey mom. How are you and how's dad ??"

"I'm good as always and your father is fine too."

"Is he taking his medicines on time ??" inquired Amelia. She is always worried about his health.

"Yes, my sweet child."

"Are you two going on walk daily ??" Amelia was continuously questioning her. She knew her parents they wouldn't take care of themselves without her scolding.

"Yessss yesss. Now stop and tell me how are you ??"

"I'm fine mom."

"Great. Take good care of yourself. Sleep on time and eat well."

"Okayyyy momm." said Amelia rolling her eyes.

"We love you..."

"Love you moreee.... Say my Hii to dad I'll call him later .... Good night..." said Amelia and ended the call.

Amelia set her bed and laid down hiding herself completely under the warm blanket. She unlocked her phone and searched Elijah on Instagram. First id was his. She opened his account, it was on public. Kaylee was right he was very handsome.

Amelia blushed a little then placed her phone on the side table and closed her eyes and slept in no time.

It was 7 am in the morning when she woke up. She got ready and went downstairs. She made herself a sandwich for breakfast. After breakfast, she left the apartment.

**SCENE CHANGE**

Amelia had a busy day in hospital. She had to assist a senior doctor in an operation. It was 8 hours long operation. The operation was successful but she was exhausted.

She hasn't met any of her friends today no even Noah. She went to his department.

"Hey!! Noah." said Amelia.

"Your hey makes me wanna kill myself. Why are you so exhausted ?? What happened??" Noah tried to cheer her up.

"Nothing I'm just tired. It was 8 hours long operation I could hardly stand now."

"Ohhhh my sunshineee....come here." Noah hugged her and said "Go home, take shower, have dinner and sleep. Do not use mobile. Okayyyyyy" He instructed her as if he was her dad.

"Fineeee daddddd. Good byeee... See ya tomorrow." Amelia teased him and left.

After stepping out of hospital she was waiting for a taxi but couldn't find one.

"Oh God!!! I'm already tired and now I can't find a taxiii....Why is it always ?? Oufffffff" she was cursing her luck.

She waited for a while then started walking. Its been 10 minutes she had been walking but no taxi came. She then stopped at the bus stop waiting for a taxi. It was already late and no one was there. She was a little bit scared and prayed in her heart.

"It's already dark and there is no one here please God please protect me today.... please please please...."

She was still praying when suddenly a big black luxurious car stopped in front of her. Amelia's heart stopped beating. She was trembling with fear....

"Helloo Amelia......."
