CHAPTER 132

 Amelia returned to her work after planning everything with Chloe. Amelia ran into Caroline and wished they'd just pass each other by without saying something, but Caroline stopped her. Amelia expected her mood to be ruined, but Caroline's words stunned her to the core.

"I apologise for being rude to you on that day. Also, congrats on your pregnancy," Caroline remarked.

"It's all right, I made a mistake. Thank you, as well," Amelia responded politely.

"Caroline isn't nearly as bad as I had expected," Amelia thought. 

Caroline had just recently learned of Amelia's pregnancy and felt guilty about shouting at her the day before. They talked for a while Caroline told her to take care of herself. Amelia then went to see how her patients were doing.

She was finally checking her last patients on duty after hours of work. Her phone beeped, as she got a message. 

In the message, Dylan said, "I am outside."
