As the day went by pretty quickly it was finally 4pm, Price got off work and went to get his daughter but as he stepped into the school to get her. He noticed a sadden look on her face more irritated like.
Naomi looks at price but says nothing letting her actions speak for itself, Price understood these were her teenage years and things like this was going to happen so he decided to let it go and just roll with it.
The two got into the car and the silence finally breaks when Naomi cries, releasing all her pent up frustration out. Price looks at her with a sadden expression, not sure what was wrong or what to do since he had no idea what the problem was.
He hugs her in a warm embrace trying to cheer her up the best he can, so she could try and explain the situation to him. "Nao...what's wrong?" he asks as he calls her by her nickname.
Naomi wipes her tears slightly and looks at price with sadden eyes but pulls through as she explains she got her first period and some of the kids were picking on her, for finally starting in high school. As Price listen anger consumes him inside out making him want to lash out but he knows he can't not when his daughter needs him most.
"Nao....hey it's ok you just matured later and that is ok...Don't worry about the other kids ok? They have no idea what they are talking about and are just being brats. Your special Nao don't let no one say other wise ok?" He says wiping away her tears.
Naomi nods and smiles at Price comforting words. She couldn't be happier to have a dad like him. She hugs price tighter, enjoying his embrace. "Thank you dad...your the best" she says wiping her remaining tears.
"Anytime Nao..." he says with a proud smile
"Hey dad?..." Naomi starts as she fiddles with her jacket zipper.
"Hm?"
" Can we go to the mall?..." she finishes her sentence as she moves her zipper down fully.
"Sure kiddo" Price says as he was backing up from the school to take Naomi to the one place she found happiness.
