Chapter 28 Truth or dare

"Haha, Coral, tell me the truth: are you afraid of water?" Aria asked, as they all sat on a mat under a huge umbrella. The only one missing was Alexander, who had been on a call for an hour.

However, Coral's attention was not on Aria but on the pastry. She had never eaten anything so delicious before, and she savored each bite slowly.

"Awww... sweetheart, you're enjoying that pastry like you've never eaten before," Jennie teased.

Coral nodded. "Yep, I've never had anything like this before," she replied, taking another bite.

Jennie and Aria's eyes widened in surprise.

"Are you kidding me?" they exclaimed simultaneously.

"Girls, let Coral eat quietly," Mason said, rolling his eyes as he lay on the mat with his hands supporting his body.

After ending the call, Alexander joined them and sat next to Mason. He grabbed one of the drinks nearby and started drinking.

Coral lifted her head and looked at him. His Adam's apple moved as he drank, and he looked incredibly attractive.

"I'm bored. Can we play something?" Mason yawned.

"How about truth or dare?" Gabriel suggested, munching on a sandwich.

"Boring game," Finn rolled his eyes, tired of playing Those typical games.

"Truth or dare? What kind of game is that?" Coral asked, still puzzled.

Silence filled the air.

More silence.

"Tell me, Coral, have you been living under a rock?" Aria asked, speechless.

"Um... yeah," Coral replied. She technically lived under the sea, and her cave was made of rock. So, in a way, she had been living under a rock. She nodded rapidly.

"Haha, guys, come on. She must be joking," Mason chuckled. "Let's play truth or dare to get to know Coral better and make her feel more comfortable, right, Coral?" He winked at Coral, who blushed and nodded in agreement.

However, Alexander looked at Coral intently. He couldn't detect any lies in her eyes when she spoke, but it couldn't be possible that she had actually been living under a rock, right?

He didn't know, but he felt the need to investigate Coral further because she seemed suspicious.

Everyone gathered in a circle as Gabriel placed an empty bottle in the middle.

"Super Bee, how do we play this game?" Coral asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She was eager to play the game with her new friends. Super Bee rolled her eyes and explained the rules to her.

"Who wants to start first?" Mason asked.

"I'll go first," Aria volunteered, and she spun the bottle.

The bottle spun around and finally stopped, pointing at Finn.

"Huhu! Finn," Aria exclaimed, rubbing her hands together eagerly. "Truth or dare?"

Finn chuckled and replied, "Truth."

"Haha! I'm excited. Tell us how you and Aria met. You've never told us that story," Aria eagerly asked.

"I want to know too!" Gabriel chimed in, looking excited.

Jennie looked shy, and her face turned as red as a tomato.

"Wow! You're blushing so much," Coral said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "How did you meet your mate?"

"Haha, Coral, don't tell me you're also into werewolves. We'll talk about that later. But Finn, please tell us your love story," Aria teased.

Finn blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Well, actually... I was taking a shower in my hotel room, and she walked in... and, ahem, you can guess the rest," he said, causing Jennie to cover her face shyly.

"Dmm! I didn't know such a romantic story was brewing between you two. When will I meet the love of my life?" Mason exclaimed dramatically.

"When you stop chasing every beautiful woman you see in road," Aria retorted, rolling her eyes.

Coral looked at them with wide eyes, taking in all the playful banter.

Meanwhile, Alexander was observing her intently, his gaze fixed upon her.

Alexander found Coral to be unlike any other young girl he had ever encountered. There was something different about her.

Finn spun the bottle again, and this time it landed on Mason, whose eyes widened in anticipation.

"Haha, bro, truth or dare?" Finn asked, laughing.

"Dare! I always choose something different," Mason replied smugly.

"Hahaha! Then I dare you to do chicken dance in the middle of all of us," Finn said, chuckling.

"No freakin' way!" Mason exclaimed, causing everyone to burst into laughter and applause.

Coral watched with excitement. It was so much fun, and she hoped the next spin of the bottle would land on her. She was eager to participate.

"Come on!" Aria shouted, encouraging Mason.

"Dude, you can't back off. Haha, otherwise, you'll have to face the consequences," Gabriel chimed in, shouting playfully.

Rolling his eyes, Mason stood up in the center and began flapping his arms, imitating a chicken dance. This caused everyone to chuckle and laugh.

Aria recorded videos of the amusing moment.

"Dmm!! Aria, delete that video!" Mason shouted as he suddenly lunged towards Aria. Caught off guard, he fell on top of her.

Aria's eyes widened, and she blushed, while Mason was focused on deleting the video.

Aria allowed him to do so. Hehe! She already had automatic backup and restore options on her phone.

After deleting the video, Mason stood up and started spinning the bottle again. This time, it landed near Alexander, slowly coming to a stop.

"Jackpot!" Mason exclaimed excitedly. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth," Alexander replied, his voice magnetic.

"Who was your first kiss?" Mason asked, and everyone looked at Alexander with anticipation.

Alexander remained silent for a moment.

"Tell us. Our curiosity is getting the best of us," Aria said, brimming with excitement.

"No one," Alexander finally answered.

"Are you serious?!" Jennie's eyes widened. "We know you've never approached any women, but it's hard to believe..."

Everyone looked at Alexander with wide eyes, waiting for his response. However, he didn't even change his expression.

Coral wasn't surprised. It was normal for one to wait for their mate. She, too, was patiently waiting.

Then, Alexander took the bottle and started spinning it once again. It stopped near Aria but then slowly moved to rest near Coral.
