Standing-up hastily, "Let's go, time's up!" Jin said tossing his empty coffee cup.

"Has 5 minutes really passed?! Oh man! I wanna go to sleep!" The female bodyguard who was sitting next to him said whining, For some reason Radka assigned this woman to work side by side with Jin.

He figured the athletic looking Black girl, might've been assigned to keep an eye on him more than she should do on Nikolai.

"I'm sorry if this sounds rude but I don't care, I have a job and I'm going to do it." Jin replied to her.

"Man you're so serious! you didn't even ask for my name? I bet you don't recognize me." The woman said flashing a smile.

"And you are?" Jin asked, the woman stood up and offered him a handshake, "Minnie Barlow! I went to the same high school as Nikolai...and you, Jin young."

"Wait you're that cheerleader girl right? I didn't recognize you at all?! you changed a lot." Jin said surprised.

"Yep I DID change, and so did you brother... it's kind of crazy right? cheerleader turned bodyguard, that's some headliner shit." Minnie replied sniggering.

"You mean a bully? I don't buy that bullshit! nobody does...everybody knows it was Moses being a bitch and dragging everybody into his mess.

I remember that one time he tried to bully my nerdy brother cuz I refuse to go out with him." Minnie said sniggering some more.

"Glad to know you don't think badly of me Minnie." Jin replied smiling, he felt better about her now.

"But to think you and Nikolai would be dating? that's something I had a hard time to believe, even when I saw in on the news!

At the beginning I didn't recognize your ass Jin... you were sexy back then but you got sexier bro." Minnie said giving him a thumbs up.

Embarrassed, "Thanks, you look awesome too by the way! since when you became a bodyguard?" Jin Asked changing the subject.

"I was about to ask you the same thing! Andrea hired you right? and then Madame did... it's funny cuz Madame rarely hires men.

I know Nikolai doesn't love bodyguards, in fact I heard that Andrea has been for years trying to appoint one to protect Nikolai, but our superstar refuses it every single time.

Now Nikolai can't say no since he's in that hospital bed, it makes me feel kind of sorry for him...all this Fame and Glory brought him nothing but trouble." Minnie said sighing.

"You know I was surprised when Radka hired me... I've checked with the other bodyguards, God damn these girls have some skills that would make Their ancestors proud!" Jin said.

"I'm sure you're up for the job! if The Madame hired you herself." Minnie replied reassuring him.

"You call Radka, Madame?" Jin questioned, "She has many nicknames, but most girls mostly call her 'Madame' to show respect.

You must be special since you're confidently calling her Radka." Minnie replied.

"I'm not special...I feel like a loser here, like what the hell am I doing?! I couldn't even protect him when the incident happened!" Jin said kicking the ground.

"Oh I got briefed on Dat! they told me what happened in that Italian boys house.

It was Sus if you ask me dude! like seriously I bet Andrea did it cuz what the fuck?! why would you separate a client from their bodyguard unless you plan on to do something sinister to them!" Minnie stated.

"Whomever did it, if this was an attempted murder I'm not going to forgive them." Jin replied.

"I get it and you're not alone Jin! if somebody would do this to my lover, I would kill that motherfucker on the spot!"

"Thanks for the pep talk Minnie, our break long over so it's best if we go back right now."

"Who the hell calls a 5-minute coffee stop, a break!" Minnie argued.

"I do, and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't even take this break, I don't want to stay away from Nikolai not even for a moment." Jin replied.

"I know this is our job and it makes us think so Jin, but you have to remember before being a bodyguard, you're human.

You can't protect Nikolai if you're not in perfect condition."

"I know, and you're right but it's easier said than done...Let's just go back."

...Time skip...Next morning...

"Girls, Jin." Radka greeted the bodyguard who lined up at her arrival, "I brought some donuts!" Rushil said handing a box for Each of them.

"Thank you." The girls said in union which surprised Jin, "Wow this feels like the military!" he mumbled to A giggling Minnie.

"Girls, Anything to report?" Radka's tone got serious, "Nothing from me Madame!" one girl spoke up.

"Me too, all clear Madame!" Another girl said, "Everything is under control from here, madame." And another girl said as well.

All girl spoke up until it was Minnie's turn, "Madame, I have done what you asked of me, I have nothing suspicious to report." Minnie spoke up while glancing at Jin.

"Perfect, Jin how about you?" Radka asked, "I don't think I've noticed anything suspicious... Madame." Jin nervously responded.

"Perfect, Girls move aside because I want to go into the room to see my son, and Jin, Minnie... you two follow me inside." Radka ordered and every girl backed away, allowing Radka, her husband, Jin and Minnie to walk inside.

inside, Nikolai was still unconscious laying on his hospital bed, the doctor was doing a standard check up when "Madame Dubinsky, good morning." the doctor greeted Radka with a smile.

"Harold how's your wife, did she love the vase I sent her?" Radka casually asked.

"Yes! she's very grateful for the gifts, I am also grateful for the donation you made to this hospital Madame." the doctor replied.

Jin was dumbfounded, he glanced at Minnie who sniggered quietly at his reaction before she whispered "You'll get used to it, this is all business."

Suddenly "Hey!" Rushil enthusiastically pointed at Nikolai, his fingers were moving slightly followed by the sound of him grunting from pain and discomfort.

"He's waking up!" Radka said as she hurried to her son's side, Jin and Minnie close by.

"Nikolai, can you hear me? how do you feel?" the doctor asked.

Nikolai grunted again, his vision was still blurry but he was hearing alright, "Where am...I? my head hurts." Nikolai managed to say.

"You're in a hospital Niko!" Jin replied.

"Where's Julian?" Nikolai asked.
