Recovery and Fiancee?

Lu Xia walked in the street of Mountain Goat City. 

She brought Sun Yi to this city two days ago because it was the closest to the Primal Sirius Empire's east border and was well-known for having skilled physicians.

'When Sun Yi is going to wake up?' Lu Xia sighed while bringing a basket of food. She returned to the Sky Moonlit Teahouse, the largest inn and restaurant in Mountain Goat City. 

Upon returning to their rented room, Lu Xia overheard a familiar chuckle and opened the door hurriedly. Her eyes widened in happiness because Sun Yi was finally awake.

"Sun Yi!" Lu Xia completely disregarded Feng Yumeng and lunged toward Sun Yi, hugging him. 

Sun Yi hugged Lu Xia back and replied, "There, there." 

"You shouldn't cry." 

"Looks, I'm fine." 

"No, you're not." Lu Xia forced a smile. Like Feng Yumeng, Lu Xia also knew Sun Yi's life expectancy was no more than fifteen years.

Unless they found the Extreme Yin Flower somewhere, a medicinal herb from the ancient era, they wouldn't be able to save Sun Yi. Lu Xia wished she was all-knowing as she couldn't find any clue about the flower in the last two days.

At the very least, Lu Xia has to find an alternative method.

So, Lu Xia and Feng Yumeng are helping Sun Yi with his physical therapy for the next day. Slowly but surely, Sun Yi recovered his ability to walk and became much physically mightier than before. 

First of all, Sun Yi's cultivation base increased to the fifth level of Earth Realm, which means he obtained over two thousand drops of Blood Qi in the past three days.

He absorbed the Blue Moon Flower's medicinal properties and increased his mental power by a few minor levels, nearly mastering the Purple-ringed Eyes. 

Besides that, the one with the most increase is Sun Yi's physique. 

Due to the Lightning Calamity Serpent's dying last attack and Extremity Yang Poison, Sun Yi's body fought back with its regenerative power derived from Dhampir and his Star-Eating Wolf's Bloodline. 

This tug of war destroyed and restored Sun Yi's body non-stop, causing the Sirius Titanium Body to reach the second stage, Iron-Skinned Wolf. 

It was painful, but Sun Yi was numb to it already. 

Thankfully, Sun Yi's mental power granted him extreme fortitude, or he would have gone crazy.

On the third day, Sun Yi finally returned to optimal condition and could move around without a problem. They could continue to the East Border anytime.

However, they decided to take it slow. 

They just got the news that Heavenly Path Sect would do a mass disciple recruitment in three days. Although Sun Yi won't join the Heavenly Path Sect, he likes to meet his fiancee and stays in the sect without drama. 

On the outskirts of Mountain Goat City, Sun Yi raised his battle knife and faced a Wild Ibex, a brown-furred goat with a pair of curved black horns, strong limbs, and sharp steel-like hooves.

As the Wild Ibex charged at Sun Yi, his body flickered and dodged the rush attack. 

The goat hit a nearby rock and shattered into pieces.

Sun Yi watched this calmly and used the Purple-ringed Eyes to observe the stunned goat. He breathed in, drawing the energy in the atmosphere and agitated Blood Qi inside his body. 

He flickered beside the Wild Ibex and slashed his knife, "Star Butcher!" 

Sun Yi successfully slashed the Wild Ibex's neck as a bloody line drawn in the air but failed to kill it because the slash was too shallow. Well, he was not disappointed in any way.

Bam!

After getting injured, the Wild Ibex raised its rear legs and kicked Sun Yi.

Sun Yi crossed his arms and felt slightly numb, but that's it. There is no injury or even a bruise.

It is the power of Sirius Titanium Body's second stage, the iron-skinned wolf!

Sun Yi shook his arms, "The Wild Ibex is at least sixth, if not seventh, level of Earth Realm in terms of strength." 

"However, I only feel numb from the kick." 

"My body could resist that of one or two minor realms above me." 

"This is good." Sun Yi commented and charged at the Wild Ibex again.

The Wild Ibex also charged at Sun Yi. 

They stared at each other, and the wild beast cried in pain.

Sun Yi smiled because Wild Ibex probably didn't expect him to play dirty with mental power. 

After reaching and nearly mastering Purple-ringed Eyes, Sun Yi wants to replicate some illusions and mental techniques from anime and novels.

So, he developed a more raw and straightforward mental attack.

Sun Yi named it Spirit Thorn, which was executed by molding his mental power into a thorn before sending it to the enemy's head. A weaker foe will experience a mind-torturing headache, and stronger ones will feel dizzy for a second.

Sun Yi developed this technique for two days and only had a little success with it. But hey. At least Sun Yi could attack his enemy's mind now. 

"Take this." Sun Yi coated his battle knife with Primal Qi before throwing it at the Wild Ibex's head.

The knife logged into the wild beast's head, making it cry in misery.

However, Sun Yi's attack is not over yet. 

Sun Yi ran toward the Wild Ibex and pulled his entire right arm, causing his muscles to bulge slightly.

"Exploding Force!" Sun Yi punched the back of the battle knife. 

Bam!

An explosive force appeared, blasting the knife and the Wild Ibex's head with extreme force. 

The knife passed through Wild Ibex's body and stabbed the ground.

As for the Wild Ibex's head, it explodes like a watermelon. 

Clap! Clap!

Lu Xia and Feng Yumeng, who had watched Sun Yi's performance from the beginning, clapped their hands in amazement. 

"Yi, that's awesome." Lu Xia happily smiled at Sun Yi.

Feng Yumeng also smiled and added, "Mm, it is spectacular. I would have never expected someone who hasn't gotten any formal training less than two weeks ago could reach such a height." 

"You're a genius!" 

Sun Yi smiled back, "I'm no genius, Mengmeng." 

"If it weren't for you two helping me, I wouldn't reach this far." 

"Not to mention, I kind of cheated with my luck." 

"No, Luck is also part of strength, Yi." Feng Yumeng stubbornly praised him. "I know you think Lightning Calamity Serpent's core brings so many benefits to your cultivation, but trust me. Any other person would have fallen into despair, but you're fighting back!"

"She's right, Yi." Lu Xia nodded in agreement.

After harvesting the Wild Ibex's corpse, they returned to the Mountain Goat City and visited a restaurant for lunch.

Sun Yi devoured his food and made the ladies chuckle. 

"So, what's your next plan, Yi?" Feng Yumeng asked while slurping her noodles.

Sun Yi shrugged, "What else? Visit my fiancee at the Heavenly Path Sect and hide there for a few years." 

"Preferably, until I reached the Heaven Realm." 

"That's no fun..." Feng Yumeng complained with a pout. Of course, there is another reason behind her complaint. 

Even though Feng Yumeng has agreed with Sun Yi to build a harem, she still found too many women aren't good for his boyfriend. 

Lu Xia is a good woman with several remarkable qualities, which Feng Yumeng found perfect for Sun Yi.

This little fiancee of Sun Yi, however. Feng Yumeng had to observe her first. 

"What was the name of your fiancee again?" Feng Yumeng suddenly asked.

Sun Yi raised her brows and answered honestly, "Zhang Wu." 

"Don't even think about threatening her, Mengmeng." 

"Zhang Wu is from a Duke Lineage, Zhang Clan."

"She likes to be lowkey like me and quite a terrifying girl." 

"Will that Zhang girl kill me when she learns that you have made Sister Xia and me as your partner?" Feng Yumeng returned.

"No... Why would she do that?" Sun Yi was speechless. "Zhang Wu is not an unreasonable girl. As long as we explained it well, she would understand the circumstances." 

"That's enough, then." Feng Yumeng crossed her arms and lifted her nose slightly. 

Lu Xia giggled amusingly, "To be honest, Young Lady Zhang Wu wasn't your typical beauty. Her appearance is humble and plain, perfectly covering her bright mind." 

"Zhang Clan has two heirs and three heiresses. People thought Young Lady Zhang Wu was the weakest of the five, but that's far from the truth..." 

"If Young Lady Zhang Wu wants to, she could dominate the other heirs and heiress." 

"But as Yi said, she likes to lay low." 

"I have to say, she's a perfect match for Yi." Lu Xia glanced at Sun Yi. 

"You're just pushing it at this point..." Feng Yumeng grumbled.

"I'm just telling the truth." Lu Xia winked at Feng Yumeng. 

Sun Yi watched their banter and sighed inwardly, 'I wonder what Zhang Wu is doing now.'

A mountain peak stood over the cloud, making it look majestic as the sunlight gazed down on it gently. An plain-looking young lady in a white dress lays on a patch of grass, sleeping with unrefined snores.

A bird landed near the young lady, waking her from her joyful nap.

The young lady opened her eyes and revealed dull green eyes that slowly gained light as they gazed at the bird.

"Courier?" She picked a compartment from the bird's leg with the letter inside.

"Sirius Imperial Family..." 

"Oh, my lovely fiance is finally going to visit me." A smile formed on the young lady's face. "As a fellow sloth, I wonder what he had for me." 

"Hehe, I can't wait to meet you, Sun Yi~!" Her low and cheerful voice hummed.
