Sun Yi, Lu Xia, and Feng Yumeng are having lunch together. 

Yet Feng Yumeng couldn't help but notice that Lu Xia had become much closer to Su Yi. Well, she clutched him like a koala from the beginning of the lunch.

Feng Yumeng also noticed that Sun Yi is much more gentlemanly than he used to be. It was hard not to see the difference when he always fed Lu Xia food and acted like a good boyfriend.

"You're full?" Sun Yi asked Lu Xia, pulling down his spoon.

Feng Yumeng awakened from her stupor and cleared her throat, "Ehem, yes."

Sun Yi couldn't feel anything from the hourglass, but Lu Xia did.

Feng Yumeng smiled and shook her head, "Compared to how lucky Young Master Yi was, this little bit of wealth is nothing. You can buy a Spiritual-grade Field-Silencing Tool with 100,000 gold coins or ten low-grade Primal Qi Stones from the Star Merchant Guild." 

"Well, how should I start this story..." 

"After running from my family, I wandered around the northwest region aimlessly. I fought with some bandits in the wilderness and encountered a cult performing a ritual." 

"A cult?" Sun Yi frowned. He didn't like this.

Feng Yumeng nodded, "Yup, a cult. Although I don't know what kind of cult it was, they are trying to summon a vengeful spirit from the Earth Hunting City." 

"The more shocking fact is they lost the vengeful spirit as it hid itself into the Earth Hunting City, sometimes appearing on the nearby hunting grounds." 

"I met the vengeful spirit once, and it was terrifying." 

"It has a shadowy body and a pair of demonic crimson eyes." 

"Brrr, I felt like my lungs were about to explode when those eyes are looking at me." 

"Weirdly. The vengeful spirit only scared you off and did not attack." She added weakly. "As if it was searching for something in the city." 

"I've been staying in the city for two weeks. I'm trying to find the vengeful spirit's target."

Sun Yi gave Feng Yumeng a weird look, "Young Lady Feng sure is fearless." 

"Aren't you afraid of the cult finding you?" 

Feng Yumeng snorted, "They knew nothing about me. I also have a way to protect myself from an expert." 

"Still..." Sun Yi sighed at her. "If I were you, I would have gotten away from this city as soon as possible." 

"In fact, Sister Xia and I will leave tomorrow morning."

He stared at Lu Xia excitedly, but froze on the spot because his eyes also saw through materialistic things.

'Wait, a shadowy figure??' Sun Yi gazed at the alley 800 meters away from the inn. He focused the Illusion-breaking Eyes to the area and suddenly saw a pair of demonic crimson eyes stared back.

Sun Yi hurriedly closed the window and crouched down. 

"What's the matter? Are you okay?" Lu Xia worriedly walked to him.

Sun Yi breathed in and out, "I-I might have seen the vengeful spirit that Feng Yumeng talked about earlier."

"What?" Lu Xia was shocked. "What should we do then?"
