Chapter 89

"What do you think?" Mero asked averting her gaze.

"Who are you?" Lydia investigated.

They spent so much time together, and Mero never made a face like that. The only person who could make her behave this way is Zack. Lilith enjoyed the expression as well. It confirmed she was more than a fling and another candidate for her harem.

"I think it's adorable. Especially with those pointy teeth. I've always wondered do they hurt?" Lilith teased.

Lilith glanced at Zack pressing her tongue against her cheek imitated lewd behavior. Mero's face went red as she prepared to turn around. Zack grabbed her hand halting her as their eyes met.

"You have a very nice figure, and I'm glad your spending time with us. Are you feeling comfortable though?" Zack asked holding her hand tenderly.

"It feels a little weird, but I'll be okay. If I can spend time with you it's worth it. Your willing to spend a day in my world, and I wanna return the favor." Mero replied leaning in.

"Do you want a turn with Zack tonight?" Lilith asked glancing at the others.

"I wanna see him too." Yu declared hugging him from behind.

"We see him plenty so don't be stingy. Mero misses out on a crucial part we get regularly. If you're worried about being lonely you can join me, and Dyna tonight." Lilith whispered.

Yu nodded walking over to join them at the table. She wanted another attempt to bear his child but would have to wait. Out of all the women by his side, Yu was his most frequent partner. She knew this and understood it was only fair.

"I'll take the kids to the bath. Come see us before you two settle in for tonight." Yuki smiled kissing Zack on the cheek.

"I'll be heading that way shortly." Zack waved her goodbye.

"Private or public?" Ren asked.

"Public so everyone needs to behave okay? We have guests after all."Zack warned glancing at the troublemakers.

"I've always wanted to visit. Can we go now!" Mero asked tugging at him excitedly.

"We can, but let's see if anyone else wants to join first. Go tell Shiro, and warn them properly." Zack told Mero while approaching his table.

"Headed to the bath if you want to join us," Zack announced before walking away.

"Have you gone before?" Cassandra asked.

"Yes it was rather nice, but it was empty when I arrived. I would get nervous if so many people saw me in that state." Emilia replied.

"I'll stay here with you then. Mind joining me for a walk?" Cassandra asked standing up from the table.

"I have a few questions about Arthur so that sounds lovely," Emilia replied following behind.

"Go tell the men to enjoy themselves tonight, but to be prepared by noon. If we handle this correctly it could turn things around for us." Vicente ordered Harald before following Zack.

When the civilians saw everyone leaving for the bath they joined out of curiosity. Their children had gone without complaint after all. While walking they examined the massive structures in the city with a look of awe. Outside the bath was labeled areas for the children and adults.

Walking in some of them were hesitant in undressing amongst each other, but the citizens of Eden were accustomed. They were all bathing preparing to enter the water chatting so casually. Seeing this they followed their lead in cleaning themselves. When walking into the water the soothing effects took hold immediately.

"Such a place is befitting a noble. Is this really okay?"

"I pulled my back this morning but can't feel a thing."

"How did they make it so big?"

"Not sure, but I hope they let us visit here too."

Slowly the groups began to intermingle becoming familiar with each other. As they began talking and unwinding the barriers between species began to fade. Some of the single men from Stormhaven began thinking of moving cities. With all the beautiful women around it was hard not to. As they mingled Zack was in the corner with his comrades. Sitting next to him was Mero and Destiny.

"You know it's okay to take breaks sometime," Zack said to Destiny bumping into her shoulder.

"Truth is I finished my orders long ago. I just wanted to have extras. It's our last trip till spring right?" Destiny asked.

"Yeah, I wanna focus on building here. I want things to be running smoothly so I can get back on the road." Zack replied.

"Are you leaving?" Yu jumped in front of him concerned.

"When I think about my old lifestyle I get worried. I would see conflict often and have to intervene. Part of the reason I traveled is gathering money for the kids, but I enjoyed helping people. Sometimes it was a group of bandits, other times it was ferals or just an injured loved one. My powers can help people. We may be living comfortably but there are others who aren't." Zack replied clutching her hands.

"Then we're coming with you," Kaya demanded.

"You've seen our skills, and don't forget we saved you." Lilith teased with a smirk.

"Fighting by your side sounds like a great idea." Ren smiled with excitement.

"I cover ground faster flying alone. Those extra seconds in arrival mean life and death most times." Zack stated.

The others grew concerned hearing this. Only Lilith could fly, and nowhere near as fast as Zack. All of them were worried their happy days may come to an end. Zack could see the panic on their faces putting them at ease.

"You are forgetting something. The waystation is set up, and I can set another one up with ease. I'll travel out far enough, and set up a portal for you to join. This will save us time, and we can still fight together. We will come back for a few days to rest, and pick up where we left off. We would work just like the scouting teams. You all should know better by now. I couldn't stand being away from you girls that long." Zack said in an embarrassed tone.

"You scared us, you idiot!" Kaya splashed water towards him.

"I'll need more training with my legs for that. Can you help me?" Mero asked the others.

"Of course." Ren smiled.

"We have all winter to get ready," Zack said placing his arm on Mero's thigh.

"Going on adventures sounds fun. Can I join?" Savannah asked walking over.

"You still have to prove yourself." Kaya scoffed.

"I have no problems with that. We are all warriors, and you would be wise to not underestimate me." Savannah smiled in a threatening manner.

"Were here to relax don't forget that." Zack declared.

"Mind if I relax here?" Savannah said sitting in his lap.

Kaya seemed irritated but Yu managed to calm her down. They had already agreed to welcome others so long as they would agree to their competition. Kaya decided to wait, and handle it in the arena.

Zack was getting used to this sort of thing, and as long as Savannah didn't break the bath rules he didn't mind. He admired her figure after all and even had to fight the urge to feel on her stomach. Not wanting to test Kaya's patience he sustained from doing so.
