Face off Part 1

Finally evening came with his complete entourage Dong Mu entered the brothel, Lin Hua was at the door and conspicuously Na-bi stood beside her, Dong Mu looked at her face for a while with furrowed brows. He called Lin Hua over " it's good you are bringing new blood to the brothel after Su Mi but she is too old to catch the eyes, who is she".

Lin Hua plastered a beautiful fake smile and giggled " your highness, it had been tiring to handle all these girls and I bought her at the labour market, she is pretty good with calculation. So, I brought her here, but she caught eyes of lady Su Mi as she wanted a new maid and I gave her to her for few days.. She will work here under Su Mi but also help me in management. Your highness if you want I can arrange her to serve your highness".

Dong Mu wrinkled his nose " he was a regular visitor of this brothel to maintain his image he atleast came here twice a month, which was adequate to please his father and any new face was an alert for him. But he soon lost interest seeing her aging face. What could this old hag do to him".

Dong Mu with all his servants and personal guards reached the room on third floor. Old Lady Gong bowed down to welcome him. Dong Mu expected room to be beautifully decorated with flowers and candles as moonlight would filter inside. But what he found was somber chamber with Su Mi sitting on her knees as she welcomed him.

" Welcome your highness crown prince in the abode of this lowly prostitute". Dong Mu expected irritation inside seeing the simple room with sofa on one side and bed on another, a small dressing table close to the wall and a table arranged with delicacy and fine wine, not a single flower in sight,no perfume, no candles. But he was amused because he was also bored of women bathing themselves in fragrance and gaugy decoration which made him kill them even faster.

But this woman planned this perfectly. The simple chamber made him realise that she had either put a lot of thought in arranging this or too casual to give him respect. Now it was his chance to find the reason " what is the meaning of this Su Mi, is this how you show courtesy to my presence and here I arranged all those costly presents for you".

His men were still inside the room with heavy metal boxes in their hands. Now it was Su Mi's Turn to make him stay alone inside the room with her without those servants and guards.

" Your highness, this lowly one was thinking for all these days how to show my feelings to your highness". Dong Mu interrupted her " and this was what you came up with, simple chamber. Are you disrespecting the authority of this crown prince".

Su Mi shook her head, tears pitifully fell down on her face, but her heart was extremely calm. She had seen many of these nobilities on the higher plane where spirits lived in and she knew this round is all about giving your all and taking away slowly.
