He had a wife!

Olivia was driving in a blue saloon car. It was neither her Audi Q3 nor her red coupe. It was a blue Land Rover Evoque. She was listening to pop music on the car radio as she hummed a tune. She was all jolly. Her phone rang.

"How do you like your new phone?"

"It's fine... Did you get rid of the other one?" Olivia queried.

"Come on Olivia! You know me better than that."

"Okay. Are you coming?"

"Don't stress. I'll be there in no time. Keep your phone on."

"Do you remember the plan?"

"Certainly."

"Stick to it. No flows. I've planned it for eternity!"

"Roger that!"

This time Olivia was trailing someone. She was dressed in an all-black attire. Black eyeglasses, black leather jacket over a black polo neck, black gloves, black fitting leather pants, and a black pair of knee boots. She was different; not in her manner of dressing though. She got out of her blue Land Rover and got into a white waiting SUV.

"You managed to get the car!"

"Yup. Wasn't that hard." Her accomplice was also dressed in an all-black attire, however, he sounded masculine; one could even tell from his deep voice. "Here's what you asked for." He handed Olivia a pistol. "Careful! It's loaded."

"I knew you wouldn't fail me. Now, let's go for those two bastards!" Olivia took the pistol and put it in the inner pocket of her jacket.

They came to a sudden halt upon noticing the vehicle they were trailing parked beside the road. They put on their face masks before getting out of the car, and walked towards the vehicle; on tiptoes, one on either side.

"Oh, shit!" Olivia exclaimed. "No one's inside!" She kicked the vehicle; she was livid.

Her accomplice merely stared at her and cracked his fingers, "What are we going to do?"

"Sh. Shut up." Olivia was speaking in undertones. "She's here; somewhere here.

The opposite side of the road was bushy. They walked stealthily into the bushy area and seemed to get swallowed by the darkness it bore.

"How could I forget to bring along a flashlight?" How sure are you she's here?"

"Sh. Keep your voice down and follow me!"

A twig creaked at a distance. They stopped in their tracks for a second. Olivia took out the gun. They hastened their pace in the direction they heard the creaking sound. The moon gave its light to the world at the perfect time. To their utter surprise, they saw a male figure; Olivia shot in the distance, and the person moaned. As Olivia and her accomplice approached him, his stamina came to his aid and he leaped into thin air.

"Ouch!" Her accomplice groaned. Someone had hit him right on the back of his head. He fell unconscious to the dusty, dirty ground. He must have kissed fresh earth. Olivia moved three steps backward.

"Why are you following me?" A female voice asked.

"Howel!"

"Who are you?"

"A long-time friend you made your sworn foe."

"And what is that supposed to mean?" She held on to a log defensively; ready to spring into action at any time.

"Oh, dear Howel," Olivia was speaking soothingly as she gradually advanced towards Howel. Howel didn't know when and how Olivia knocked down the log she was holding in her hand but her legs gave way too. She ran as fast as she could but Olivia was way faster. Olivia stopped in front of a cabin. She tried to force it open but it was locked from inside.

"I know you're in there Howel!"

She moved back one step and gave a mighty kick. The whole door, hinges, and all crashed inside.

She walked into the cabin and sneezed. It was abounding with dust.

Howel also sneezed.

"Must have held it too long!" Olivia teased as her eyes searched the room. Her eyes fell on a sack in the corner of the room.

"This is a dead end Howel. Come out." She was moving in the direction of the sack.

"No its not." She stood up from behind the sacks and hurled a glass bottle at Olivia. Fortunately, she ducked just in time and missed it. It shattered into a million smithereens.

"Uh!" Howel gasped.

At that time, Oliver limped into the cabin. He hurriedly picked up a piece of the broken glass and pointed it towards Olivia.

"What do... do you want? I can give you m... money! Lots of it. Just mention the amount." Oliva was begging. He was in a lot of pain.

Blood was oozing all the way from the rear side of his left thigh to the ground. He was whining. Although he'd tied something around his thigh, blood just continued oozing out. His left leg couldn't support half his body weight and he fell to the ground.

Olivia laughed raucously. "What do I want?" "What do I want?" She repeated. "You wanna know?" She was still laughing. She wrestled Howel to the ground and held the pistol on her temple.

"Why are you doing this?" Howel was literally trembling. All this time, Oliva just whined and groaned and pleaded for his and Howel's life; when his pain let him plead.

"Why are you pleading for her life, Oliva?" She was pointing the gun at him.

"What? Have you become dumb all of a sudden? Speak up before I burst your big brainless head!" Oliva still didn't utter a word.

"Wait...wait...w..ait!" Howel hesitated for a moment and blurted out, "I am his wife!"

Olivia's eyes were beetroot red. She took off her face mask.

"Olivia!" Oliva gasped.
