Two disciples

Chapter seven

Kai wanted to see how this would play out so he decided to watch what the men would do before acting.

"Hand her over boy and all of this will be over."

"No!" Zach looked over at the ugly men surrounding him and his sister and knew they were screwed yet he would never give up on his sister who had taken care of him when their parents passed away.

One of the skinny looking men walked up behind the dude in front and whispered something into his ear.

The big boy looks flustered when the skinny man spoke.

"Sorry boy but are buyer is in a rush and we don't have time to play around."

Kai heard what the fat man said and was intrigued.

"So, there is someone behind this?" kai couldn't help but think something fishy was going on but first he had to save these kids from these men.

"Looks like I'll have to use this sooner than later." Kai pulled out a sharp needle from his inventory and it glistened in the night.

This needle was called the storm spear blossom needle which was in fact an herb but was used as a weapon. This needle had costed him two high grade stones from which he bought from the merchant.

The needle was used through Qi and only needed to barley break though someone's skin for them to be poisoned and instantly killed.

The reason Kai bought this was because he wasn't strong enough to go head-to-head with cultivators right now, so he resorted to using treasures.

The only problem was this treasure couldn't be used on any one in the spiritual qi realms because the needle was too weak, so he could only take out qi realm users right now.

The good thing was that Kai was pretty sure none of these men were anywhere close to spiritual qi realm.

Kai watched as the men closed in on the two kids, so he snuck through the darkness while trying to be silent and when he was finally close enough, he activated the needle with his qi and sent it away while controlling it.

Kai was on the roof behind the thugs so they couldn't see where the needle was coming from, and it was pretty dark.

Swoosh

The needle glided past the necks of a few of the men but before they could even fall to the ground the needle had already stuck into four more of the thugs instantly taking down seven men with one clean swipe.

"This thing is so easy to use when these thugs don't even pay attention to their surroundings."

But after the few men fell to the ground the other men noticed something was wrong and they looked around confused.

Kai knew if they found his location things would become worse, so he controlled the needle and made it glide past the boss's neck instantly putting him down.

The death of their boss made the rest of the few men become scared by the silent killings and they scrambled to run away.

Kai chuckled at these thugs' uselessness.

He brought the needle back and saw that it wasn't looking to good as there was now less vitality in the herb from being used.

"Whatever, once I'm strong enough I won't need this needle any ways and I'll probably buy a better one."

Kai looked at the two kids who seemed confused after watching all these men just die with ease.

"What are you two gapping around for." Kai yelled

"AH!" the sudden yell caught the two-off guard.

"Wh- who's there! show yourself!" the boy yelled

"Oh? Is this how you treat your savior?" Kai jumped off the roof and landed with ease a few feet from the two kids.

The boy and the girl looked at Kai confused but they seemed relived sense Kai didn't look like a bad person or at least look like the thugs.

"Mr., did you save us?" the weak girl said.

"Haha yep, now listen here, what are you two doing in a dark alley like this?" Kai asked

The boy seemed hesitant to say anything.

"Well sir my sister has a special body constitution, and someone found out and wanted to buy her for their use."

"Zach!" The young girl tried to stop Zach from telling.

Kai was even more interested in them now sense the girl actually had a special body constitution making him surprised.

Body constitutions weren't super rare but for them to activate on their own was pretty rare making them unique cases.

Usually, they would awaken once someone got into a higher realm or used a special treasure to help awaken it.

Now that the boy brought it up Kai could tell that the girl was suffering from her body constitution sense her body was still that of a mortal, so her body wasn't able to adapt to the power.

"I can help your sister."

The boy looked suspicious, but he was also desperate.

"How?"

"We'll all you two need to do is become my disciples and I'll take care of you from now on, you see I'm actually a sect leader and a cultivator."

The boy and the girl looked surprised but happy.

"No way Mr. are you really a sect leader?" the boy said.

"Haha yup." Kai said with pride.

"But sir were not cultivators, why do you want us to join your sect?"

"That doesn't matter, I can make you cultivators more powerful than you can imagine, I only need you to have the fight in you to do so."

"So are you two willing to become my disciples." Kai said with a stern face. He wouldn't accept just anybody into his sect.

The boy looked at his sister and she nodded while trying to look strong, but it only came off as pitiful.

"Yes! well become your disciples." the boy said

"Haha good, now tell me your names." Kai walked closer to the kids and finally got a good look at them, the boy had short black hair with green eyes looking like a strong boy and the girl had long black hair with jade like skin also with green eyes.

"I'm Zach and this is my sister Zara."

"Now I don't do that whole master ritual thing so you can just call me master in the future or Kai."

"Ok Master!" Zach looked happy to call Kai master like it was a privilege.

"Master, can you heal my sister?"

"Hm, let me see what's wrong."

He placed his hand on Zaras shoulder allowing his Qi to flow in but before it got far it actually caused a black lash and he coughed blood.

"Master! are you ok!"

Kai smiled while wiping the blood away.

"Yeah, I can heal your sister but not here, her body constitution is stronger than even I thought." Kai found out that Zara actually had an Ice body constitution which is amazing.

This was what he was looking for since he bought the Snowpiercer sword earlier along with the basic ice qi manual.

Kai knew that once Zara started using a strong ice cultivation manual, she would be ok after getting the hang of controlling her qi.
