Bright Academy

School for gifted students is an understatement. Bright Academy was a school on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean. Felix Oppong was one of the over thirty students in the forty square kilometer sized college, for good reason...

YOU'RE READY

There was a loud splashing sound as Apollo blasted water at a block of tungsten.

It was fixed into the ground with a heavy weight so it didn't move.

A hole, about two times the diameter of a fist and half a foot deep was evident on the block.

Lilith had been swirling a thin current of water around herself from her fingertip like a ribbon, then swiped her finger diagonally, making the water slice, cleanly through a foot thick block of iron.

The two of them looked at the camp where they could sense some drama coming from...

A crowd had gathered around two students who were in a heated argument, actually, a student and a young teacher.

As usual, it was Alexa and Trevor.

Trevor said he was fed up with Alexa trying to make him angry and she yelled that she wasn't just trying to make him angry, she was trying to make him miserable.

He then yelled,"What is your problem with me?!"

"It's that it's all your fault! Alex and I were fine until you came along to tear us apart, he went wayward because he was jealous of you, he died because of you!"She yelled back.

Trevor was silent, he didn't know she blamed Alex's death on him, he then yelled,"It's not my fault your bias family treated him like trash! In fact, you were the one he wanted to commit incest with, and you know what? You have my blessing to spend the rest of your miserable life with that insecure tramp's dead body!"

She had had it then just slapped him across the face.

He tried to retaliate but couldn't move, neither could she.

He immediately regretted what he just said then said,"I'm sorry, look at who I've become, you're right, it is my fault."

She shook her head then said,"I didn't really blame you, it's just, I miss him so badly."

He hugged her gently then rubbed her hair as she cried.

The crowd which had gathered tried to comfort them.

Alexa then said,"I'm sorry for how I've treated you and I want you back."

"You and I both know that isn't true, we just aren't right for each other, we're too different, let's just be friends."He then said.

She nodded then hugged him again.

Soon after that, my mom and Indigo got married and I couldn't be happier for them, but I became happiest one day when Lilith came home from the camp.

She dropped her bag then ran to hug Anneliese, Anneliese smiled then said,"Hello honey, how was sch..."

"Hi there baby sister!"Lilith yelled.

Anneliese was as confused as the rest of us were till she asked,"Lilith what are you talking about?"

"My little sister, you're expecting a girl."

I then asked,"Lilith, your mother isn't pregnant, is she?"

"Oh yeah she is, I've known for about a week, she's still a blastocyst but I can tell the difference between a boy and a girl at this stage, oh and she also has both your lights, like me."

I looked at Anneliese then Anneliese covered her mouth as she looked at me then said,"It was supposed to be a surprise..."

I couldn't hide my joy and ran and lifted her up then covered her face in kisses.

Apollo also ran to join in the affection but Lilith wasn't done talking,"Oh, and I'm expecting my Multi Human uncle from grandma and grandpa."

My mom looked at Lilith without saying a word then started shedding tears of joy as she kissed Indigo, but even though he tried, without my light, I could tell he was nervous.

I couldn't say how proud I was of my daughter, so I let her name her sister.

"Lily, I want her name to be Lily."Lilith said.

"Of course honey."I said, totally agreeing.

Lilith then sped out of the room to chase a butterfly, her work had been done, but mine was just beginning...

"Umm, dad?"I called.

Indigo had barely realized my presence.

I tapped his shoulder then he freaked out and a strong breeze shook the trees as he fell into the pool.

I shot him out with a spike wave then he flew down as I made the water on his body instantaneously disappear.

He then asked how he could help me then I said,"I know you're nervous about your first biological son, I was nervous about Lilith too, but just know all this fear will dissolve once you're holding him in your arms."

I patted his back then left.

He sat down then looked up, he knew what to do...

A number of months after that day, I started practicing a few of my old skills, like the Multi Jet and the Ball Lightning Bomb.

For the Ball Lightning Bomb, I made a sphere of plasma in front of myself and shot it at a single or multiple targets.

It went forward and flickered with an immense glow then shot blasts of electricity at the targets, it wasn't enough to really hurt them, only as much as a taser.

It could do anything like flicker out of existence or explode in a powerful burst of blue energy in a sphere with the shrunken white core feeding the explosion.

When it exploded, it forced negative charges off the surfaces of targets and pushed them onto the targets behind.

The now positively charged targets were attracted electrostatically towards the negatively charged core while the targets with the extra electrons were pushed back with great force.

Electric arcs then painfully shot from the negative targets to the positive ones to neutralize them then pulled them together again.

It was very effective since it had unpredictable properties I could control.

It could bounce off surfaces or pass right through them protecting objects I didn't want to damage.

It could take a straight path, or a jagged one, go horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

It could also teleport from one point to another spontaneously.

The problem with it was that it was quite slow, only moving a meter in about seven seconds, not like electric arcs, I could throw it to make it move at a max speed of 90km/h, like the average baseball, but that gave my opponent the opportunity to attack.

It was still effective all the same and could also be good for making spherical Plasma Windows or Shields.

I also realized I could make and control Anti Water almost as easily as I could normal water, so this unlocked a new idea that Anti Humans were just normal enlightened humans with preferences and norms to control Anti Matter.

Frankie on the other hand had gotten a whole lot more powerful and even I thought he was ready to face the abductor of his father, so we decided to go.
