VISIONS

Anneliese was on the bed and turned, she stirred again then finally, her eyes opened with a gasp.

She stood up and wore a robe then walked to the balcony.

She was soon joined by me then I asked,"Honey, is something wrong?"

"I can't sleep, I've tried futilely for hours and since I can't control my own mind..."She said.

"Then why don't I put you to sleep?"I asked.

"No, no, no I don't want to bother you, besides, I just wanted some fresh air, you just go back to bed."

I nodded then kissed her forehead and left.

Anneliese had been standing with the wind blowing over her beautiful face and through her hair when she realized the water on the pool raised off the surface for a second then splashed back down.

' That was natural. ' She thought sarcastically.

Just then, the leaves on the trees started rustling as the water stood up again in a two storey high, clear, whirlpool like water spout.

Patches of grass and soil lifted up from the ground and started circling the column of water and a rock was flung at Anneliese with great force.

She stretched out her arm and easily stopped it in its tracks but then called me, I didn't wake up.

She shouted this time as the water in the tornado started unraveling into spinning, clear and pressurized currents of water, mud and stone which grinded through everything in their path.

Anneliese swiped her arm and I was thrown off the bed then immediately kipped up and thought we were under attack, when Anneliese pointed down and I went to see the show, I knew we were.

We then both said,"The kids..."

We arrived at the babies' room and they were sleeping soundly, then we ran to Lilith's and Apollo rooms, Apollo was fast asleep but Lilith was turning violently and crying in her sleep as the glow from her eyes passed through her eyelids.

We didn't know what kind of nightmare was causing this to her and we also couldn't read her mind...

Alexa woke up then threw herself off the bed and landed on her slippers.

She started walking to the kitchen then closed the door behind her and went to fetch some water as frost formed on the other side...

She opened the faucet then ice sludge started to pour out...

' I wanted cold water, not freezing. ' She thought.

She then heard cracking sounds and looked back to see ice creeping up all around the ceiling with dagger like icicles growing downwards and golden flames burning at the bottom.

She ran around all of this and tried opening the door, it was locked.

She banged it with her shoulder but it was hopeless, then she coughed from the smoke and went on all fours, a second before the wall and window where the sink was at was broken down by a brown, sickle like current of mud and stone.

She immediately saw an opportunity then ran to the gaping hole and dive rolled through it then sent her head backwards as another current just passed over her.

She saw Lilith's room which was the most damaged among all the others, including the kitchen and her first instinct was to run up the wall and jump through the window to see if she was safe.

The whole show ended instantaneously as she jumped in through the window.

She climbed through the rubble to Anneliese and me but something was wrong.

I was touching Lilith's head with my eyes closed and was struggling and yelling, while sweating profusely.

Alexa asked what happened then Anneliese said,"He didn't listen to me, he wants to stop Lilith's nightmare."

Alexa looked back at me then ran and speared me to the floor and I yelled as our connection was immediately severed then went unconscious.

I woke up the next morning with a fever and a splitting headache, only to see Alexa and Anneliese questioning Lilith.

"I had no idea any of that happened, I'm sorry if I caused trouble."Lilith said sadly.

Anneliese cupped her cheek then said,"No gumdrop, it wasn't your fault, we'll find another way okay?"

Lilith nodded then they walked towards me then I asked what had happened.

Alexa reminded me of what happened then I apologized for doing something so risky.

Just like Mind reading and control have their effects, Stopping or causing dreams which is a variant of Mind control, has its effects, it usually gives the doer a short sickness, mostly characterized by a headache, a fever and timidity but there could be other symptoms depending on the intensity of the dream.

The dream had to go somewhere, and when a dream is caused, the doer's reflexes, thoughts and cognitive functions in total slow down, they use their own mind to project the dream, with training these effects can be stopped, but it takes a lot of hard work on that specific skill or sub skill and I was still learning.

Alexa hugged me and told me everything was fine then Anneliese kissed me and they left to get me breakfast.

After I recovered that evening, I sensed Lilith in her room, sitting alone by the window, that was unusual as she was always either with Apollo, the babies or both.

I hydroteleported there then she screamed and fell backwards then I caught her and asked what was wrong.

She started crying as she said,"I remember the nightmare..."

"So it was just like what happened, but not, Apollo's future self killed me and the good one brought me back but I went along with Franklin's plan and got you captured. When you escaped, I begged you to let me heal Frankie but you were too angry to let me, so I...I...(she started crying) I hurt you, really badly and I'm sorry..."

Anneliese and I hugged her then Alexa said,"Don't worry, we'll help you get rid of this nightmare..."

"It is definitely a Vivid Vision."Alexa said while the three of us were alone.

"That must have been how time was supposed to go originally but something happened and made her change, the good side is that she won't turn into a dictating tyrant, the bad news is that it's hurting her."Anneliese said.

"But who can stop a Vivid Vision?"I asked.

"A Chromosapien."Alexa said,"But the only Chromosapiens around will never help you and Francois has retired from using his light, we can't convince him, even his mother and wife couldn't."

"Or maybe someone who can cause anything to happen just by imagining it..."Anneliese said.

"Of course I'll help."Apollo said, eagerly.

"Thank you."I said.

He closed his eyes and for a few seconds, was motionless, this was much slower than usual as the things happened as quickly as he imagined them, which was immediately.

He then tensed and yelled and was thrown backwards.

I caught him and was scared as he slowly opened his eyes.

We asked him what had happened then he said,"I don't know, it was like some barrier was preventing me from imagining it, and when I tried to break through, it pushed me back."

' That must definitely be a Time Capsule. ' I thought.

A Time Capsule was a kind of abstract forcefield which prevented changes to certain times or time related matters from happening.

I had never seen one in action since I only knew so many Chromosapiens.

We said Apollo should rest and assured him we'll help his sister then left.

Alexa was texting on her phone then giggled and my mom smiled.

She chuckled then texted back then my mom asked,"You and Trevor are inseparable, aren't you?"

"Maybe, that silly goofball makes me laugh."She said.

She saw a message then laughed and snorted.

My mom widened her eyes then Alexa covered her mouth.

My mom said,"I didn't know you snorted when you laughed."

"Curtis says it's beautiful."Alexa said, shyly.

"It is, honey."My mom said while brushing some hair from her pretty face.

Alexa smiled.

"So, tell me where Trevor took you after his match, tell me every detail but make it quick."My mom said eagerly.

Alexa smiled then sighed while looking up and asked,"Where do I begin? He first took me on a helicopter ride to the most expensive restaurant in the city, then he took me to the park and we had dinner there and he told me...he told me he'd take down the stars, just for me."

"Aww, that's so sweet."My mom said with googly eyes.

Alexa continued,"Then he took me to Jinhae and showed me the scenery and the cherry blossom festival and finally...took me to your first home."

My mom fought back tears as she heard that then Alexa said,"I'm sorry for bringing that up."

"No don't be, I'm happy that you got to see my roots."She said.

Alexa smiled then got another message; Do you want to go for a date?

Alexa replied,"Maybe."

He sent an ambivalent GIF to her then she laughed and said,"Yes."

He then texted,"I'll pick you tonight at eight."

"I'll be waiting."She typed back.
