THE PRODIGAL SON

"Alex! Alex!"My dad yelled.

"Alex went out to train with Felix."Alexa said.

"Where? I don't sense them anywhere in the city."He asked.

"In Greenland, you know there's ironically a lot of ice there so it will be the perfect place to go."She explained.

"...why aren't you in school?"He asked.

"...uh, umm...I..."

"Alexa, where is Alex?"He asked in a more serious note.

She looked into his eyes and started breathing heavily, she didn't know what to say, then suddenly, my dad looked at her with fear in his eyes,then yelled and started running away.

He was also maneuvering through the air like there were objects in his way.

Alexa didn't understand why he was doing this then remembered...

' Forget Me Not... ' She realized.

She ran and took a glass of water then poured it over him, right before he fell down the stairs.

He was breathing heavily as he looked at her then he said,"Alex is in danger..."

I knew exactly where Alex was and hydroteleported there after him.

He ran through a crowd and he was using a great strategy, so I couldn't use my light for fear it would cause chaos.

Alex ran and looked backwards for a second then bumped into a tall man.

He looked at the frightened child for a few seconds then said,"We've found the target."

Alex became even more scared and tried to run but the man caught his arm.

He tried to stab the man with a dagger of ice but his body stopped moving right in front of the man who smirked.

Just then Alex heard someone yell,"Let my brother go!"

The man frowned at me then turned to leave.

Immediately Alex disappeared and appeared right beside me and the man was as surprised as Alex was.

I said,"Alex, stay beside me."

But he ran away.

I groaned then the man blasted water at me but it hit an innocent civilian instead.

The crowd went haywire and I went to attend to the man whose child was crying.

The first man shot a dagger of ice at me while I was distracted but I caught it while it was an inch from my head then crushed it to pieces.

The man widened his eyes and I snapped my fingers then turned into a million spiders and cockroaches and they all charged at him.

He yelled and started stepping on and blasting them but for every one he killed, five more appeared.

He then flew away for his life then I continued healing the man.

The child was eager for me to help him and I told him he'd be fine.

I sensed the cops coming and said help would arrive soon then left.

Alex was running then he saw a woman running away from the scene where a man was blasted and followed her.

She turned to him, confused then he said,"I don't have time to explain but I need you to hide me, that enlightened human is after me."

The woman looked up then said he should follow her.

They ran to her minivan then he got in the back and she took one final look at me, smirked then started driving.

I already knew she was up to no good then ran after the car and made a Liquid Knife which sliced through the two rear wheels.

The car went out of control then was blasted into the air by a strong wind which made the glasses explode.

Alex was scared but none of the shards of glass touched him and as the car rotated through the air, he was hydroteleported out.

Alex struggled to get out of my grip but I injected him with a light dimmer before he could Hydroteleport away, then I sensed the woman walking out.

I looked at Alex, who was busily biting my arm, then I looked back at her as she untied her bun to let her long, black hair, fall to the sides of her body.

I sensed the first man coming back as well.

I wondered what they wanted with Alex.

I froze his foot to the floor with ice XI then looked at the woman.

She then stretched her arm and the gravitational force below my feet quintupled and I had to use all my strength just to stand.

I blasted water from my feet and hands to fly out of the super gravity zone but the water stopped shooting and I fell, but before I landed, the woman blasted me with a strong wind which sent me flying meters back.

Alex looked at me then tried to thaw the ice, but he didn't know how to control ice XI yet so it was hard, but the moment I was hurt, it didn't start to crumble and crush into dust like he expected, since I couldn't make the appropriate pressure anymore, it stayed put.

The man then melted the ice and Alex knew the man wanted to get him.

He tried to run but realized the people had totally left him and were targeting me, so he abandoned me...

I tried to stand up but I was blasted by water from the back and the force of the water was increased threefold then a wall of ice formed in front of me and I crashed into it, shattering it into pieces.

I lay on the floor and the woman and man walked closer to me, then the woman said,"The target is ready for pickup..."

Just then, two geysers erupted below them and sent them flying into the sky.

They landed hard and I slowly stood up.

They tried to attack but I made a Hydro Boom which sounded only in their ears.

They thought their ear drums were going to explode, till I yelled in pain as electric currents flowed through my body.

Blue jagged lines came out of my eyes and went into the ground for over thirteenth seconds, then it stopped and I collapsed.

A girl about nineteen of age walked forward then said,"Idiots."

Then she carried me on her shoulder then disappeared...

Alex was running through the street, going as far from me as possible when he bumped into another tall man.

This time he was thrown backwards and wanted to run away, then he saw Alexa beside him then said,"Dad?"

"Yes son, it's me."

He tried to run the other way but my dad caught him.

He struggled and tried to scratch him with his nails and kick him with his feet but it was all futile.

Alex still didn't stop struggling till my dad hugged him.

He was confused and a flood of emotions ran through his mind, but he pushed him back.

Alex was shedding tears then yelled,"Why won't you ever leave me alone?! Don't you get it when someone runs away they want to be left alone?! Or you're just to dumb to understand that?"

My dad looked at him, pain evident in his eyes, but Alex didn't soften one bit, then he looked at Alexa, who was crying then said,"Why was I born attached to such a crybaby?"

Alexa then said,"We're not too dumb to understand you want to be left alone, we're blinded, blinded by love for you."

Alex was frowning deeply then said,"I'm not going with you."

Alexa then said,"But we need you."

His facial expression softened then he looked at my dad, who hadn't said one word, then Alex sighed then said,"If you needed me so much, then why have you been treating me like I don't belong?"

My dad finally said,"You were the one treating yourself like you don't belong, we need you to make a choice, will you leave or you'll come with us?"

Alexa looked at him, surprised then said,"Dad!"

"Alexa, it's his choice."He said.

Alex looked at him for several seconds, the tears were still coming out of his eyes, then Alex said,"I need a home... and someone to train me, but there would be some changes..."

My dad smiled, but didn't go any further. Alexa on the other hand, couldn't stop herself from hugging him.

He looked at her with disgust then pushed her back, rolled his eyes then said,"The first change we're making is that, there will be no more hugging."

Alexa nodded several times, agreeing totally.

Then Alex said,"I think Felix is in danger..."
