OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Lilith screamed and time seemed to freeze as the ground began cracking, then lava and Ice spewed out, destroying the creatures, she yelled as lightning rushed through the portals, destroying everything on the other side and exploding with pure nuclear energy.

The portals closed forcefully when the air pressure around them joined with the force of gravity, shutting them.

Lilith lay on the floor when all were dead, as huge waves from the ocean broke over the mountains, pouring into the valleys below, but she felt someone come to her back and looked to see Damien, she hugged him then the ground sealed as the waters abated, flowing out the same cracks in the mountains they made, saving the rest of the inhabitants...

I woke up Alexa when I came back and she slowly sat up as I walked towards Indigo and called him to wake up, no response.

I groaned then shook him vehemently, still none.

I then smacked him across the face, then again, and again and again... mostly continuing for the pleasure and Alexa doesn't need to know.

It wasn't working so I just reached into his mind to wake him up but something was wrong, it was darkened and out of order, cold and empty, like it was...dead.

I began calling him with an even greater urgency when Alexa asked what was wrong and I said,"Indigo isn't waking up, Indigo, Indigo wake up, dad!!"

Alexa took a step back as she had a dark thought...it was her fault.

' Please, tell me how we can cure him. ' Alexa begged.

' There is no way you can cure him, the venom of Arachnida is the most potent in all Multiverses, but there is one person who can cure him... ' The gem said.

"My opposite."Alexa said.

"What?"I asked, fear and anxiety mingled in my voice.

"I did this so maybe..."

"Alexa, you didn't do this, Darlok had you..."

"But it is still my doing, whether or not you say so and the only way to cure him is to get him to my opposite, the wielder of the crystal of wisdom."

"...and do you know where she is?"

"No, but there is a sequence, on the sandwich of Multiverses in the sixth dimension..."

I couldn't held laughing in my head as she continued, I had to liven up somehow.

"...every five rows up or down, there are at least two wielders living in the Multiverse, they may be restricted to different realities, but they'll still be there."

I looked at her then asked,"But aren't the Multiverses supposed to be infinite? You said that there were only like thirty wielders so, how are they distributed."

"I don't know, hut I think it has something to do with a chosen sector or something."

I stood up then said,"Let's go and save our dad..."

"You are not leaving alone."My mom said.

"Mom, we'll be fine and this world will be even safer without us since Darlok is only looking for the three of us but we still have to leave, for Indigo's sake."I said.

My mom hugged Alexa and me tightly then said,"I love you, both of you."

"We love you too mom."Alexa said sweetly.

Alexa kissed her husband and hugged her children who had already started crying, I was happy I didn't have to worry about the water works till I saw Jessica, she ran into my arms and said she'd pray for me, everyday.

I kissed her forehead several times then said,"Then I know I'm in good hands."

I hugged Apollo and patted his back then shook his hand, right before he pulled me in for another hug, but I couldn't find Lilith, anywhere.

I sensed her, several thousand kilometres away on an island that Anneliese made, so told them to send my greetings to her when she arrived...and to watch over her like hawks, now I knew her intentions, I was going to be with her in spirit, no matter where I was in the Multiverse.

I then looked back at Alexa then frowned as Curtis said,"I'm not letting her go."

"Yes you are."I said,"You are staying here, where it's safe."

"I don't remember the last time I was concerned about my safety."He said, stubbornly.

"And look where it got you Mister Vampire Wannabe, Anneliese is staying here, you're staying here too."

"It's funny, I don't remember the last time I took orders from you."He said.

I towered over him as I came closer and said,"You did ever since you were scared of me."

He slightly shivered as my gem glowed blue grey, then I smirked and said,"Better."

Then walked away.

I made Alexa, Indigo, Nisha and myself vanish into the sixth dimension, from where we could go not only forward and backward in time, or left and right in realities, but up and down in universes as well.

We went to the first Multiverse, five below ours, which was Nisha's home.

A few months earlier...

A boy had been living a peaceful life with his family in the society where the amount of money you had determined your status to the extent when you reached a certain amount of lack of money, you were actually executed to release financial burden on society ever so slightly.

The boy; Dollovan wasn't actually rich, but wasn't poor either, his parents' hard work was the only thing keeping his entire family of four from being killed.

Everything went well, till the portals began opening.

Horrid monsters started pouring out and desecrating all the entire planet's military forces, wrecking havoc and causing damage, but it always looked like they were searching for something.

The portals usually didn't stay open for long though, they often closed after about fifteen minutes, when all or most of the creatures had gone back, but even then, the damage they always called was irreparable.

Dollovan came home from school once and yelled when he saw a monster feeding on his parents bodies, the monster turned its purple eyes to him as balls of fire filled the sky then dashed at him...

Several meteorites crashed into the ground, the pressure spike causing ice to form, but not normal ice I h, but rather hardy, hot and almost indestructible ice VII.

The ice was so metastable, it spread faster than a wild fire, breaking all barriers and forming over everything much faster than the speed of sound.

Dollovan yelled as the creature darted at him, but was enveloped in a thick block of ice, with only its head and neck remaining free.

In the two seconds he could react, he stabbed right through the gem on its chest and its throbbing heart, with the sharpest thing he could find in that short time, a knife.

The monster screeched then the ice covered over them both.

A few seconds later, there was a crack, then the spreading ice came to a fast stop, then began to break, all over, with cracks forming like on a smashed glass.

The ice began to disintegrate into sharp, palm sized shards, which all began darting at and piercing through the hearts of all the creatures, no matter how far.

Ice also began forming over and blocking the portals and Dollovan was left standing next to his parents' blood covered bodies, which were shortly flash frozen.

Dollovan's sister also ran in as the ice shards hit the ground like bullet fast hail then saw her brother, then her mother.

She screamed as she burst into tears and Dollovan, with the new, icy blue gem on his neck, with a snowflake, whose number of sides kept changing, felt no more pain or grief, but just hugged Dolores to make her at least feel better.

He went to school the next day, with the entire landscape having been repaired by some colourful gases which were emitted after certain of the creatures were killed, and saw some of the children praising whoever killed the monsters.

He was minding his own business, having a drink of D2O when he was pinned to a wall by Sevenan and his team.

They wanted his money, as usual, but this time being the first Dollovan remembered, he didn't care.

He gave them everything and tried to walk away but this time, they said they wanted more, to get to know his three year old(three years as in twelve years) sister more.

He just walked, unbothered, to his next class but they weren't done and didn't take lightly at him dissing them.

The first thing he did in his class was file a complaint at the teacher and she said,"Just get over it, it's highschool, that's how life here is."

"If you do not handle the problem..."He said,"...I will be forced to take matters into my own hands and if and when somebody gets hurt, it will be all your fault."

He left without her being able to respond then sat down.
