ONE, TWO, GONE

Alex carried the twins but Ama said José was throwing a fit, his head grew thrice in size when she said it was about him.

He went to the child who was crying for his father then picked him up and said,"What's wrong sport?"

But all the boy did was to hug him and continue to cry.

Alex then said,"Tsk, tsk, tsk, big boys don't cry José and you're a big boy, aren't you?"

José nodded then Alex placed him on his shoulders then ran around with him as Ama giggled to herself, then yelled when Alex lifted her up as well and threw the both of them onto the bed and the three laughed together, till the twins also began to cry for attention.

Alex then said,"It's my que."

He then ran to the children in the other room and Ama smiled as he left then felt a tug on her dress.

She looked to see José who said,"Mommy, I sorry ft being rudey."

"Oh it's okay son."She said.

"Mommy..."He said,"... daddy ss working very very hard."

She perfectly understood his point then whispered,"Why don't we make him a surprise? Just the two of us."

"A surprise!"He said, finally mastering the use of the ...that he usually found monumentally difficult to pronounce.

"Sshh, he'll hear you."She said, already knowing he had sensed their conversation from the get go.

"E surprise?"Back to square one.

She nodded and he jumped in excitement then Alex looked into her eyes from the corner of his, chuckled and continued playing with the triplets.

...woke up from bed and saw Curtis had served her breakfast and was confused, then scared and asked,"Master Curtis, I'm sorry to be a burden but please, don't poison me and my baby."

"What? Why would I do that? Don't you trust me?"He asked with a chuckle.

"With all due respect..."She said quietly,"...no sir."

"Okay I deserve that, just take this as an apology and a peace offering."He said.

He then left then she began eating and it was the best food she had ever tasted, for a second, she forgot about all her worries, tasting that food...

Maame walked back into the mansion and saw Apollo running away from their children, who were chasing him either by Hydroportation, jet propulsion, or on foot, the last was slowest and looked the most ridiculous.

She called him and he stopped, with Stacy flying off target, Sylvia crashing into his back and ... appearing on his shoulder.

He smiled and walked closer to her then she took a deep breath as he stood right in front of her, she didn't want to lose focus as he looked at her through those dreamy eyes.

He asked what was wrong then she frowned and said,"That's exactly it, now, you spend very little time with me and whenever I do try to speak with you, you think it's because I want something from you."

"But isn't it?"He asked with a brow arched and a teasing smirk.

"Apollo I'm serious, we might be drifting apart and you're toying with me."

"Okay, so what do you want me to do?"

"I think you're supposed to know."

He then held her arms and slowly drew closer but she pulled back and said,"That's not what I meant."

He laughed then asked,"Then what is it you meant?"

"Apollo please just listen to me."

"Listen to what? All you give me are riddles and expect me not to give funny answers."

"But this isn't funny Apollo, I'm hurting right now and you don't even seem to care."

"Of course I care babe, I just don't understand what you're trying to say."

"But people in a relationship are supposed to, isn't that what you always told me? You could decide to imagine we never argued as you always do and yes, I know you do, but that only delays the inevitable, Apollo, I came here to speak with you but it doesn't seem to be working, goodbye."

He chuckled then asked for her to repeat herself,"I'm leaving and you're taking even that as a joke, I'm happy back in the ocean, much happier than I am here and if you'd take that as a joke too, well it's your problem."

She began walking away and he ran and took her hand then she turned back, showing her tears, she just wanted him to say those two words, I'm sorry, so she could stay, so she could hug him and cry in his arms, but he didn't, he just stood there, waiting for her to change her mind, she just vanished and so did their relationship.

A glowing blue tear hit the floor from Apollo's eyes as his children came closer to him, shedding tears of their own, even they understood what just happened.

"What?"I asked.

"I killed the wielder of the gem of the dark seas."He said, sitting with his legs crossed in the air.

"But...why?"I asked.

"It's because of all the damage you cause, from universe to universe, you crystal wielders cause the loss of property and even lives and not just you, but Darlok as well, you just bring trouble wherever you go, so I decided to end it, without one of you, the thirty-one couldn't be complete and this will all end."

"Jason, this isn't you."

"It became me after you made me lose my wife, not anyone else but you, you stopped caring about the students from Bright Academy, about your friends, you don't even care that Junior died in one of your ' epic battles to save the world ' or that Cody literally lost an arm and a leg and had to take years to regrow them, you just forgot about us because you and your family were untouchable that's what you cared about and I will kill you and every other gem wielder if that's what is needed to restore peace to the Multiverse."

"But you don't get it, the only reason we want to come together is to restore peace to the Multiverses, but also justice, and you're right, we couldn't do that if one of us was dead, but now I guess it's all over."I said, turning to leave.

"Wait, that's it?"

"Yeah, what do you expect me to do?"I asked.

"I don't know, show anger, rage, resentment, something..."

"You're my friend, I'm never going to fight you or destroy this world or anything you care about on purpose, I didn't do it back at Bright Academy, why would I do it here?"

"But...I ruined everything you stood for."

"Then someone else would stand for it, it's not compulsory to be me, there's another generation anyway, you can't destroy the Dragon Cycle, neither can you destroy our friendship."I said.

I was in the middle of disappearing when he said,"You've passed the test Felix."

"The what?"I asked.

"You've really changed, before, you wouldn't need a second thought before engaging in a fight but now, you believe peace is the answer, you have really grown up, I didn't kill the wielder, how could I kill my own daughter."

"What?"I asked.

The illusion wore off and immediately I could sense a girl of about Jessica's age.

The girl had a few mutations which showed she wasn't purely human, but they all made her that much more beautiful.

She walked forward then ran to hug me and said,"I knew you'd make it, I just knew it."

"Celestia was my only daughter before my wife died, originally without a light but with mutations like her mother, she bonded with a crystal she found in the ground and I came here to research as much as I could into it and train her the best I could before handing her over to her true siblings and I couldn't be happier that you were one of them."

I smiled as he stretched his hand for a handshake but I pulled him in for a hug, I then asked her,"So, what's the rest of your name?"

She looked at her father before saying,"It would be meaningless to say it because not only would it be at a frequency you would not hear, but it would also be at an amplitude that would melt your brain if you used your abilities to hear it, so just call me Celestia."

I looked at Jason then asked,"Now that's absurd, why the heck would you name her something like that?"

"It was her mother's idea."He said.

"...But, did you mean all that you said? Did I really kill..."

"Oh no no, my wife reached the end of the four hundred and twenty three year life cycle, but Junior is fine, he lives in Tanzania now and couldn't be happier, but Cody..."He sighed.

"What happened?"

"...he was taken by Darlok's forces, for being a wielder."
