My mother lay asleep in her room, with the boys sleeping by her side, when someone appeared, her clone.

She slowly walked around the bed, caressing my mother's neck with her long and sharp nails.

She then saw the room get illuminated by a bright light and looked at the phoenix crystal wielder as it walked towards her.

She began to laugh then yelled,"You are their best contingency plan?! Wow, this family is so pathetic!"

I immediately woke up after having a nightmare, but grinned because I knew exactly what to do.

She then said,"Scooch along little one, before I call my friends to haunt you too."

It took a few steps back in fear till it bumped into something and looked back, then squealed cheerfully.

The dream weaver stared in shock at me and asked,"How are you awake?"

"I had a nightmare, nothing serious, but I did find out your worst fear... yourself."

She looked at me as I said,"If you give nightmares and I gave you a worse one, how would you feel, scared?"

"You can't scare me."

I began to laugh then said,"Don't lie to me, now, even if I hit you with my worst nightmare, only this guy could really kill you, in the most painful and gruesome way possible, I know if you even left, you'd call for backup, it's even in the Bible, so I'm giving you time for your last words."

She was about to dash out when the walls and windows were covered in orange flames from the phoenix, which burned its arm off by one touch.

It looked back as I said,"Ooh, don't touch the holy flames, they tend to burn."

She kept looking around for a way out till she saw decaying bodies begin to crawl out from Hades and we're grabbing her by the legs.

She laughed and asked,"You think this is supposed to scare me?!"

"Oh, this is real, it doesn't need to be scary."

"What."

She slammed into the ground when they started dragging her down with them and she let out a blood curdling scream which no one heard, scratching the floor, she screamed as she fell through, she was Skylar's creature now.

The portal closed then I ruffled the phoenix's hairless head then said,"Good job little guy...why don't we give you a name?"

I went back to the mansion after having some time with my wife and children, I had missed them dearly.

And things were just as crazy as usual back there.

Alek threw a popped corn kernel into the air and it spiralled down into his open mouth with the air current, then he did it again and closed his mouth when he realised something and it waited patiently till he opened it again.

Then he stood up and went to Jessica's room and knocked the door continuously, asking her to come out to play, bully him or do something.

She stayed inside the room then he said he was coming in and passed through the door, only to literally get kicked out a second later with a black eye.

He healed himself as he stood up and was about to barge in when Anneliese came and asked what was going on.

"Jessie hasn't come out of her room all day."He said.

"Just leave me alone!"She yelled from inside.

"... I'll talk to her."

"Really?!"Alek said, starry-eyed.

Anneliese nodded and ruffled his hair then he jumped through the walls and the floor to land back on the couch, where his popcorn spread into the air and flew into his mouth, grain by grain.

"Honey..."Anneliese called,"...is everything okay?"

"Yes mom, it's fine, don't make a big deal out of it."

"Are you..."

"I'm fine mom! Please just go away."She said.

Anneliese sighed and reached for the doorknob as it clicked open, then walked in, where Jessica ran into her embrace.

Anneliese then asked,"You miss your dad, don't you?"

"Mhm."Jessica nodded while hugging her.

"Well, he used to sing to Apollo and Lilith every time they felt like this."

"I'm guessing you want to sing to me too, right?"

"Only if you want me to."

Jessica pulled back then pulled Anneliese to her bed, took her plushie then said,"Queue mama."

Anneliese smiled then began to sing for her while brushing her hair.

Jessica fell asleep while in her arms, but my other daughter had an entirely different predicament...

' Just pop the stupid question! ' Lilith yelled to herself.

Damien took a deep breath then said,"Lilith Oppong, we have been dating each other for more than two years now and..."

' ... now's a good time as any to just say those four words! '

"...I wanted us to take it a step further..."

She knew he had it at the tip of his tongue and moments turned to millennia as she waited for him to speak, as he said,"...will you go on a vacation with me to Bora Bora?"

' ...what the fudge?! '

She smiled nervously then said,"Of course, but is there anything else you wanted to ask me?"

"Umm...no, not really, why?"

"Oh I just... nevermind, I'm tired, I'll see you tomorrow, Kay?"

He kissed her cheek then went out as usual, through the window, then she let out a huge sigh and fell on her back, when was he going to get the courage to ask her that very question she was going to say yes to?

She also had to sympathise with him a little, he couldn't read her mind as she had more lights than him, it was just a thing, but even then, people proposed to each other in a do or die gamble, so what gives?!

She just started circling green plasma around her spinning head, then took a deep breath, one more time...

Damien got to his house then yelled at himself, why was he so scared of her?!

Was it because of her venustraphobia inducing beauty?! Or the fact that she was much richer, more prominent and in a more powerful family than him, with a dad who made Thanos look like Mother Theresa?

He was just at wit's end, being of the smartest race there was, he became dumb every time he had to speak with that goddess.

He then said to himself that he was going to pop the question the next time he got there, and then his family barged in.

"Did you ask her?!"His step dad asked.

"What did she say?!"His mother asked.

"Did she look as pretty as usual?!"His little brother asked and everyone glared at him.

Damien sighed then broke he news, to the dismay of his family, to the extent his brother had the guts to say something like if you don't want her, I do, of course Damien gave him mental torture for at least fifteen minutes after that, and hoped the trauma would be enough to knock some sense into his hard head.
