MOVING ON

Alexa was furious at Curtis for saying something like that but he didn't leave her be, he teleported into her room and she met him there.

He then said,"Alexa, please listen."

"Oh I am listening, so you had been waiting, praying for Trevor to miraculously move out of the way so you'd get your chance?! What happened to the other guy backs off?! And why did I even accept this place?! You're probably going to bribe or blackmail me to crawl back to you for your family's sake!"

"This isn't about them."He said.

"Then what is it about?"

"I really love you, Alexa, I always have, since the first time we met when we were eight, when Alex was still there, when Trevor was still there, I was just too much of a coward to say it, so I made you miserable."

"You really think saying all your insecure flaws is going to make me like you more?"

"No, I think being honest with you will make you like me more, please, give me a chance."

"Get out."

He walked closer to her then held her upper arms tightly and looked deeply into her eyes then said,"On one condition, just tell me, right now that I never meant anything to you then I'll leave, give you the mansion permanently and you'll never hear of me or my crazy family again."

She gasped for air deeply as she looked at him and tears welled up in her eyes.

She then said while sobbing,"It's just... it's so soon since he died."

"Then I'm willing to wait for ten years for you to be mine."He said, meaning every word.

She looked at him as he lifted her head with his finger, then he drew closer and she did too, then they kissed.

His hands went all around her body as he passionately kissed her and her hands went for his buttons then he slowly lifted her up and placed her on the bed...

Alexa turned to her side to see Curtis, looking gorgeous as ever, with his eyes closed.

He looked so peaceful when he was asleep.

She caressed his cheek softly till there was a scream and he woke up abruptly then Alexa smiled and said,"It's just the triplets, I'll take care of them."

"I'll help you."He said.

She looked at him, confused then asked,"You want to take care of Trevor's kids?"

He smiled then moved closer to her then said,"Trevor was a wonderful man and I'll do everything in my power to make sure everything he loved is safe, especially his family."

She smiled as he kissed her then slowly got off the bed then she saw him only in his boxers, revealing his perfectly ripped and sculpted body.

She got shy then looked away then he looked at himself, grinned then climbed closer to her and whispered in her ear,"You can take a peek if you want, even touch me, I don't mind."

His deep and smooth voice echoed in her ear like the sweetest symphony and his warm breath tickled her neck as she frowned at him then elbowed him in the gut then got off and quickly slipped into a gown as he rolled on the bed, in pain and laughter, he was a psycho, but she loved that about him.

He did a kip up off the bed then howled passionately then she asked what he was doing, he then said,"I'm making a good first impression on the kids, as the predator coming to bite their adorable little noses off."

Then he started biting the children's noses, softly yet playfully and they laughed heartily and Alexa smiled.

Curtis pinned Alexa's hands to the bed, his long, raven black hair, falling over her face and on the pure white sheets, he then started kissing her neck as she moaned, then she said between breaths,"You're a good kisser."

He just chuckled then worked his way up her ear to her beautiful lips.

The kissed for a few seconds till there was a sharp shrill, Curtis smiled then said,"I'll get them this time."

Then he immediately vanished.

Alexa walked to the door and watched him play with the children, it warmed her heart how gentle and playful he was with them.

It was strange how he had such diverse attitudes, he was a cold, emotionless, person with a deadly temper at times, and a gentle, sweet and kind person at others.

He walked back to her after putting them back to sleep then sat besides her on the bed and asked,"So, what are their names?"

She looked at him and he repeated the question,"The triplets, what are their names."

She smiled nervously then said,"I feel weird saying this but, I actually haven't thought of any names for them, Trevor and I planned on naming them together until... until..."

"Hey, it's okay, you don't have to rush it, but you do have to name them before they become six months old, no pressure."He said.

She chuckled then punched his shoulder playfully, then he asked,"So, got any ideas?"

She nodded then said,"Their names are..."

I opened my eyes slowly looked at Anneliese who was peacefully sleeping beside me on our bed.

I caressed her cheek then got up and put on some clothes then walked to Apollo's room and kissed him gently on the cheek, making him smile widely.

I sensed Lilith at the pool and went to see what she was doing and saw her, playing with Squeakers, Squeaker and three of the four Squeakies still with us as one was with Alexa, their original owner.

They were doing synchronized swimming and she dived into the air, immediately turning into a dolphin, right before landing with a splash and reverting back.

The Snowballs barked happily and started climbing all over her and squirting water on her while she made waves rock them to and fro.

I then walked closer to her then she looked back and I asked,"Isn't it a little late for you to be practicing underwater ballet?"

"Oh no, that's not what I'm doing it's just, Squeakers and Squeaker were teaching their kids to swim and I wanted to help."She replied.

"Well may I lend a hand?"I asked.

"Sure."

I walked closer and saw the last Squeakie, shivering violently, while still dry on the bank of the pool.

Lilith told me how that one was scared of the water and hadn't touched it once.

I slowly approached it but as it knew my intentions, it went backwards at the same pace as I advanced.

I stood up then said,"I've got an idea."

There was a squeak as the pool ball sized Snowball was kicked into the air by me.

Lilith yelled my name in fear as it splashed into the water.

She wanted to get it out but I said,"Leave it, it'll be fine."

"But...but..."She stuttered.

It sank into the water then there was a bright blue glow from within the clear, rippling water, then it was shot out like a bullet and water started swirling around it like a clear donut, then slapped the surface to give it more altitude, then it landed in a bubble of water that formed on the shore.

The bubble immediately flowed back into the pool and it shook the water off its fur...cilia, then looked back at the water, barked then jumped back in.

Lilith was surprised as I said,"See, the first Squeakie to activate its light."

Lilith smiled at me, then a strong wind immediately blew me into the water.

I surfaced only to see her laughing on her back, till a rogue wave crashed on her and dragged her in as well, then we played together...
