METAMORPHOSIS

Lilith and Apollo had been training Frankie for several weeks now and he was a lot better at using both his lights, all his sub skills and every skill they made and learned together.

Anneliese also came back from her visit to her family and my mom was getting even closer to Indigo, which drove me nuts.

I most especially hated it when he talked to Alexa, my wife or my kids, but he did do it, and they related perfectly with him.

Am I the only one who can see the intentions of this extremely good looking, shallow gold digger?!

Indigo was an Asian man who had silver eyes which was typical of his light, he also had the jawline and facial features of all the males in my family, one of perfection.

His hair wasn't as long as mine, but it was curly and he had bushy sideburns which joined with a well trimmed and shaped beard which made an uppercase I shape with his mustache.

He was the epitome of perfection, apart from one thing, he was a terrible actor, so what I couldn't find any bad thoughts in his mind no matter the distance I read his mind from, or that he was wonderful with kids, or that he tried his best to make me like him but never forced it, and didn't want any kids...wait, he didn't want any kids?

"You don't want kids?"I asked.

The whole family was at the dinner table, including Alexa's newest boyfriend, who she made sure Trevor knew he was everything he wasn't.

Indigo smiled then said,"Yes, your mother and I decided not to have any kids, you and your sister are wonderful enough for us."

' Smooth lips, this guy is good. ' I frowned to myself.

I sensed him place his hand on my mom's and that drove me nuts!

I slammed my fists on the table and yelled,"My sister and I will never be related to a two faced hypocrite like you because my mom will never marry you."

"Felix, please..."My mom began.

"No! Why on earth will you ever try to replace dad?! Wasn't he good enough for you? Or that divorce you wanted so many years ago has finally happened till death do you part? I hate this Indigo!"

I then disappeared.

My mom was about to stand up when Indigo stopped her and said he'd go, she obviously didn't want him to but he insisted then left.

Lilith yawned then said she was leaving for bed but my mom couldn't help but notice, she had put on weight, but how when she was so active?

I was in my room, sulking to myself and had known that jerk Indigo had decided to come and talk me out of it, I knew all his words were lies so just had to stand firm.

He opened the room door then walked in then said,"Felix, I know you miss your father, but, so does your mother, and I'm not coming to replace him, just to make her happy again, I can't force you to like me but I can ask, just give me a chance to have the kids I could never have."

I looked at him, confused then asked what he was talking about till he said,"I can't have kids, that's why I don't want any more, your mother already knew but I thought it would be better for us to tell you later."

"Wait, so you don't want to get a super powerful multi human child?"

He laughed then said,"No, why will I force something like that? It comes on its own like your kids."

I knew he was telling the truth, his memories and thoughts testified.

I then widened my eyes and he also seemed to have realized what was wrong.

We ran to Lilith's room to find her sleeping like the dead, with a green, silky casing all around her and she was covered with fluid within it.

What was happening to my daughter?

I knew I couldn't just free her as her lungs were nowhere to be found, it was just left with her gills and the space for her lungs had been filled by her super sized heart and extra stomach like organ.

I touched the chamber while tears streamed down my cheeks and touched it with my forehead as the casing slowly became opaque, though I could still sense her perfectly.

I spoke telepathically to everyone else other than Alexa's boyfriend and they all ran to her room.

Apollo seemed even more affected by whatever was happening than I was.

He tried to imagine her back to normal but I stopped him, I knew that would hurt if not kill him.

Real Deals can no doubt, change reality by using their imaginations, but it comes at a price, just like all other lights, their light uses energy to work and the lower a Real Deal's level, the more energy it takes.

Also, the more they had to alter reality, the more energy that was taken, Bertha was able to do it so easily since she imagined herself at a much higher level then replenished her energy by using her imagination, I couldn't risk Apollo getting hurt too, we had to figure something else out.

After that day, doctor after doctor came to check on her.

She was actually the only person in the whole world who had a light combination that could sense something like this was happening to her, so why didn't she heal herself as she was also one of the best healers?

Apollo wasn't the same after that and especially as most of us could sense that she was changing.

She was getting purple skin and her nose and upper lip were elongating and merging, with her teeth also sharpening and her organs getting specialized to metabolize plastic and petroleum compounds, what happened to her?

Most of the doctors said it was an irreversible mutation from gamma, x-ray or ultraviolet radiation that we were going to have to live with, just like Alex or myself, but how could I have let something like this happen to my daughter?

Anneliese walked towards me then placed her hand on my shoulder then called me, I didn't respond but she could hear me crying.

She then said,"Felix, you haven't eaten in days, please, come down."

"I'm not leaving this room without my daughter."I said.

"Honey, please..."She began.

"I said leave me alone! I'm not going anywhere."

I turned back to her and continued crying.

She then kissed my cheek then started walking away.

I then slowly lifted my head to look directly at the casing then called Anneliese, she said,"I know..."

Lilith was moving.

She then shot one arm out of the casing then the slimy jelly started oozing out as she crawled out and let out an ear splitting screech then looked at both of us.

I then said,"Anneliese...run..."
