IT BEGINS

We all walked to Curtis, who gestured towards Alexa with a suspicious and defensive expression on his face.

As everyone walked into the hut, I placed my arm on his shoulder then said,"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen."

He smiled slightly then walked in.

I looked at Trevor as he stood at the opposite end, smiling at me then I called his name then he responded,"It's me."

I ran to give him a hug but I smelled burning skin and sensed hot vapour rising as he yelled.

I stepped back and saw his skin was severely burned with black coloured super ionic hot ice XVIII then I apologized as I healed him.

I didn't know what came over me as he said it was okay, but Alexa didn't think so.

After she had calmed down, we asked him how he survived then he said,"I never died..."

' The number of times I've heard that before. ' I thought to myself.

"...when I was impaled, Alexa took vengeance on all those people responsible but lost consciousness, I couldn't move, but when I saw Curtis take her away, an overwhelming strength overcame me. I fought through the pain to get to my feet and struggled to get out of that place, I needed to get back to you, Alexa, but I was too weak. I got hit by a truck and lost my memory when the driver was able to revive me."He continued.

Alexa was still crying but Curtis and I were still a little suspicious, how come I hadn't sensed him once all this time? And how did he get all the way here?

I just brushing the thought aside when the ground began to shake...

The triplets were still hugging when the ground began to shake and they saw a stampede heading their way, of monsters and animals, great and small...

"Run!!!"Catherine yelled.

They all ran using their lights to speed themselves till they got back to the village, where they ran to their mother, not even noticing the rest of the family or their biological father.

I made a sphere of water around us which hardened into ice I h and the creatures went around.

I sensed the people in danger then yelled,"The villagers!"

I hydroteleported out of the shield, so as those of us who could do similar, then ran to rescue a woman and her child...who didn't need rescuing.

The creatures weren't attacking, they were even avoiding the humans.

I was confused till I heard a screech and looked back to see Trevor killing several animals and monsters with a sharp knife.

I yelled his name then asked what he was doing.

He wiped green blood from his face then said,"What is needed."

"But they're not hurting anyone."I responded.

I looked back and called,"Hey you! Nymphaea!"

The water Nymph pointed at herself questioningly and I nodded, so she slowly walked towards me then i asked,"What's going on? Why are you running?"

"There's something scary here..."She said, genuinely frightened.

"What? Where?"

"I don't know but please don't let it get me, please don't..."

She gasped and I yelled when the knife passed through her spine then she fell into my arms, still trying to speak.

A tear fell from my cheek onto her's when I gently closed her eyes.

I looked at Trevor with fury in my eyes then yelled,"What did you do?!"

"What I came here to do..."He said.

His skin started to warp and change and I already knew why...it was Chief Nadula...

The shield Sublimed away and everyone who was still in it was shocked to the core, especially my mother.

I looked at him but before I could react, he blasted me backwards with a powerful Atom Laser.

I yelled in pain as I flew through the air and fell on my back and Anneliese screamed as they all tried to help but they were all frozen in their very movements.

I tried to get up as my body healed and he widened his eyes then said,"You heal, quite fast, but that's useless now."

He touched me then yelled in pain as cold ice X formed on his hand, almost breaking it off.

The voice yelled in his head, ' You fool! I told you not to touch him! '

He then looked into my eyes then took a step back in fear and vanished, that was weird.

Everyone was freed and ran towards me.

I was halfway healed by the time they got to me...that is, my mom excluded.

She was still breathing heavily on the floor.

Indigo knelt besides her then said,"Don't worry sweetie, I won't ever let him hurt you."

She glared at him then asked,"Like you didn't let him hurt my son?!"

She tried to attack him but I held her back as she elbowed me in the face and back of the head.

Everyone tried to stop her as blood flowed from my forehead but I then turned her over to face me, when she realized what she had just done, she burst into tears then apologized and Indigo and I hugged her as Lilith and Jessica healed me and Apollo brought back the dead creatures.

"Why didn't you end him you imbecile?!"The black cloud yelled.

"You didn't tell me he could just turn me into ashes with a touch! I signed up for power, not weakness."

"You dare defy me?!"The cloud said, getting bigger.

It started forcing through his nostrils and choking him and he begged for forgiveness then it flowed out and said,"I will give you all the power and riches you want, but all of that will be nothing if that man lives, kill him before he fully transforms."

All of this was away from Alex's jurisdiction as it was in the eleventh dimension...

"Am I the only one who is worried about how he totally escapes Alex's field of vision?"Phyllis asked.

"I have no idea, it's like he just vanished out of existence and I can't sense him anywhere in half the known universe."

"Unless, maybe he's in another part of the universe, another phase...another dimension."Indigo said.

"Of course,"Alex said,"I can't sense anything in other dimensions...but you guys can."

Curtis and Alek were paying attention, but Catherine was busily sniffing a turd.

She immediately looked at Curtis's cold gaze then behaved herself as I also asked,"And why did my light act out every time he touched me? How did it know?"

"I think it's more complex than that..."Anneliese said,"... maybe it has something to do with these markings that are appearing on your skin, he had them too."

I then realized then vanished to the full sized mirror in my closet.

I hydroteleported my clothes away and looked at the markings, they looked like three stripes on my face, similar to Alex's, but black.

They went down my neck, over my gills and to my spine, where they made a thick tree with lightly glowing blue flowers.

The branches and roots went down my arms and legs and spiralled round my limbs till they got to the digits, where they spread out to my fingertips and the tips of my toes, then they ended in blue flowers, which immediately began glowing as a glowing blue dust like gas that lifted off my hands and feet and diffused into the air.

I showed this to the others, in my clothes of course, but none of them seemed to know what this meant, none of them.
