Bright Academy

School for gifted students is an understatement. Bright Academy was a school on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean. Felix Oppong was one of the over thirty students in the forty square kilometer sized college, for good reason...

I'M GETTING TRAPPED

It wasn't long after that night when a portal opened and a man with six, charcoal black wings in black flames came out.

I was attending to Jessica's Rim Roses which she made up, when he came.

I looked at the guy floating in the air, then turned back to my gardening duties without a second thought.

He grinned as he said,"Too easy..."

Several feathers from his wings detached and launched at me and I swiped my arm so blocks of ice grew and collided with the feathers which surprisingly exploded...with surprising force.

One was able to maneuver through the first of ice blocks and I had no idea how he was controlling them, telekinesis? Featherkinesis? Or maybe each feather had its own mind bent of

n self destructing, whichever way, I stood up and a massive wall of ice VII grew and the feather exploded on it, but I sensed something wrong, then turned to the flowers and saw one was on fire.

"Daaah! No no no please don't burn, please don't..."

Boom.

They all burst into flames.

My eye started twitching as I slowly turned to face the man then I yelled in fury as he smirked, then dashed at him.

His feathers were launched again, but this time, were in black flames as they flew then several shard of ice X appeared in the air and flew to counter them, with huge, firey explosions charring the ground and ionising the air.

I planted my hand in the ground and did a spinning kick as water was launched at him like a slicing whip which he easily evaporated, but the remaining water froze to make a path I began running on, sideways, as he said,"Your efforts are futile, mortal."

I yelled for him to shut up as I jumped and threw a punch at his ugly face but the black flames increased and began pushing me back with a tremendous force.

He grinned then said,"My Seraph flames are far out of your capabilities."

"I said shut up!!"I yelled.

I threw another punch, this time, accompanied by ultra violet flames which were actually burning my own clothes.

He widened his eyes as his flames started changing and moving out of the way, and before he could react, I plastered my fist across his face, throwing him hard into the ground.

He fell on his back and rolled several times, crashing through walls of ice VII I placed in his way, then finally regained his stance with his wings stabbing into the ground.

I then said,"My daughter took hours planning what to plant."

He stood up, wiped the drop of blood from his cheek then said,"And my son took less than a minute to betray me."

The ribbons appeared around my arms and legs as he flew towards me.

I tilted to the side as one of the ropes wrapped around his neck then whipped it down and he crashed, hard, into the floor.

He got on one knee, already feeling the effects of my soul stealers as I stretched my other arm and the other went right into his heart then he yelled as I pulled him closer and held him by the throat.

I was about to literally knock his head off when the gem glowed brightly and I heard a new voice in my head say,"Father...please forgive me..."

I calmed down then looked at him, as he yelled for me to kill him, rolled my eyes, then gave him a knock out punch.

He opened his eyes and heard voices outside the room, then rolled his eyes and asked,"What are you imbeciles blabbing about?"

I yelled,"Imbeciles?! For your information, this imbecile is the one who had your feathery butt handed to you!"

Indigo said I should calm down then looked him up and down, then said,"You don't look like the other creatures Darlok has sent to us before."

"Wow, gold star achievement."He said.

"Sarcasm? Not even the upgraded ones could use that tone."Indigo continued,"What are you?"

"And why on all earths will I tell you that?"

"Because I demand it."I said, looking into his eyes.

His pupils dilated as he said,"My name is Flight Angelo ..."

"HM, gotta respect the title."I said.

"...former leader of the clan of fallen angels in planet hyper Centauri."

"Is that some kind of cult or something?"I asked.

"It's a family clan, my family clan, humans who formed a symbiotic relationship with mystical creatures called fallen angels, I only recently achieved my Seraph form by making a deal with Darlok."

"That's all we needed to hear."Indigo said.

I snapped my fingers as he snapped back into reality then vomited on himself and I burst out laughing...maybe I made him do that.

He looked at me with bloodshot eyes then yelled,"What the h*ll did you do to me?!"

"Oh, a fallen angel who is in a hurry to go lower, haven't you already hit rock bottom?"I asked.

"Curse you! I'll kill all of you!"

"Knock yourself out."I said, nonchalantly.

He tried to open his wings but they didn't appear, or unfurl.

He asked,"Where are my wings?"

"Oh, they're right there."I said.

He looked to see all six of them in a glass cabinet then widened his eyes then looked at me as I said,"Well you had it coming to you ever since you did the same to your first daughter, sister and wife and wanted to do it to your first son from your second wife."

"What have you done to me?"He asked tauntingly calmly.

"Oh don't worry, they'll grow back eventually...I think."I said, leaving.

We left him in the room as he hurled curses and insults at us and Alexa came to ask,"So, what was he?"

"A kind of human symbiote."

"I thought human beings only partner symbiotically with parasites."Alexa said.

"Not in their world, there, virtually everyone partners up with one or more animals, monsters or mythical creatures and a few with artefacts."

She was confused as I said,"I was also confused, his mind was far too..."

"Complex?"Alexa asked.

"Nah, not that, it was too far on the simple minded part of the light headedness spectrum."I said.

She was confused till Indigo said,"He was stupid, very stupid."

As the two of us walked away, I laughed then said,"Did you see the look on his face when I said I cut his wings? How the mighty have fallen!"

Indigo was calm as I looked at him, then began to chuckle, then burst out laughing.

Of course we didn't cut his wings, we weren't that heartless, unlike him, we just controlled his mind and temporarily switched off the part that caused them to appear, but he had a surprisingly sophisticated anatomy which we had to study more.
