I was hyperventilating when I said,"I'm a foot and a half taller!"

I started breathing heavily, I had jumped forward in time! Or had I?

I started laughing and my roommates were looking at me, concerned, then I said,"Really funny guys. You can stop the prank."

I could tell he was serious.

I walked out of the room and they followed me. I realized my water vision was a lot better now, a whole lot.

Now I could literally see every feature of the object, no more shapeless blobs but rather, humans with varying shades of blue all over, and the vapour in the air was clearer too.

The hearing I got from the water vision was also a lot better, clearer and at a greater distance.

But I didn't remember anything that had happened in all this time, so that was more certification that I had jumped to the future.

I looked at him, with my eyes glowing bright blue. I said in a booming double voice,"Where is he?!"

The light in my eyes dimmed and faded. I asked,"How did you do that?"

"Mind control, I have had this skill for years, you should know."He said.

I was looking at him straight in the eyes and he dropped his jaw then said,"You really don't know... anything, but how?"

I said,"That's exactly what I want to find out and Francois is the only one who can give me answers."

Cody didn't understand what was going on but said,"Francois can't give you any answers."

He said,"Because he's in a coma."

I was so confused, and he was the only person who could take me back!

Just then my watch I didn't remember having beeped.

I asked,"Mission?"

They took me to the principal and she looked happy to see me, as usual. She welcomed me warmly and said,"Your next mission is that a former student of Bright Academy, Bakugo Spears, has been kidnapping people all around the world, and we have reason to believe he's working for a software company which is secretly using illegal means to activate those people's lights, but we don't have solid evidence, so what we need you to do is to follow him till he goes in. Your mission begins in a week, I know you'll do great as you always do."

I then said,"I'm sorry, but I can't."

She asked,"Why not?"

"Because I don't know anything. I somehow jumped to this time, believe it or not, I'm still seven and soon after my encounter with Francois, I appeared here."

She stroked her chin, as if deep in thought then said,"So you want us to heal him to take you back?"

"Yes, that would mean everything to me."I said.

She said,"I'm sorry but if it is Francois doing this to you, then he's not waking up until you go back."

I dropped my jaw, but that wasn't even the worst news. This was,"But even if he did wake up, he couldn't take you back, he only controls the future, not the past."

That was a serious bombshell then I whispered,"I'm stuck here."
