BIRTH PANGS II

Apollo screamed my name and covered his face with his hands but there was a clanging sound.

He opened one eye after another to see me holding the man back with a sword made of ice VII.

I pushed the man back then said to Apollo without looking,"Apollo, get to safety."

The door opened on its own then he asked,"What about you?"

"I'll be fine."I said.

Apollo left then I looked at the man and asked,"What do you want?"

He tilted his head and said,"I want you dead."

"Well you aren't the first."I said.

We then ran at each other and our swords clashed.

Alexa woke up on a hospital bed then sat up and immediately made a loud shrill as a sharp pain pierced her in the belly.

The nurses rushed in to help her and she yelled that she was in pain.

One of the nurses said,"But it's not yet time."

They still called the doctor and prepared for her premature labour.

I swiped my sword and he blocked with his own but the moment he did, my sword started to freeze onto his then I pulled them both out of his grip and kicked him backwards then stood on my hands and threw three kicks at him, which he blocked.

He then got a grip on my legs then I spun upside down and threw him across the room.

He landed with a safety roll but wasn't prepared for my lightning fast knee then a floor board immediately rose to protect him from the impact.

I stood on my feet then asked,"Enlightened, aren't we?"

He then made a whip out of electricity and said,"You haven't seen anything yet."

Then he threw the whip and I turned to dodge it, caught his extended arm and elbowed him in the chest then threw him over my shoulder but he fell slower than he was supposed to.

I just reacted then stomped on his belly and he yelled before falling.

He did a kip up and before I moved, my limbs felt like they were being torn off.

I yelled in pain and fell on one knee and saw his out stretched arm then saw an opening and stretched my arm as well and he also yelled.

We stayed in that painful position for several seconds till I was able to twist the arm he was using to control me then ran and stepped on his knee and kneed him in the chin then spin kicked him in the cheek before landing.

He stumbled backwards and I saw the mask had broken off, revealing the bottom half of his face as blood dripped from his nostrils.

He looked at me and I slightly looked back as I sensed Lilith wake up.

She called my name and before I knew it, I was blasted out of the window by a powerful current of water and fell through the garden then hit the ground hard and rolled for several meters before crashing hard, back first into a tree.

I tried to get to my feet again but fell on one knee and saw the man walk to the hole I just made then looked to his right then said,"Good job, sweetie."

Lilith walked forward then said,"Thanks."

Then she held his hand and the two walked away.

I tried to move to her aid but I fell again as my hand held my side then I brought it to my face and saw it was covered in blood.

Lilith led him to the babies' room then she picked up Jessica and played with her then said,"I'm going to need you guys' help with something, okay?"

They just laughed as Alek said,"Of course!"

Just then, Lilith sensed my mom come into the room and ask,"What's going on here? And who is this?"

Lilith then looked at my mom with a deadly expression on her face then my mom saw huge monsters break into the room and attack the babies and tear they and Lilith to shreds.

She screamed like a maniac then fell on the floor as cockroaches, maggots and every other disgusting creature crawled over her.

She struggled to break free and kill them but for each one, a thousand more appeared.

She let out a sharp shrill then all the way in South Korea, Indigo let out a sharp scream then started breathing heavily as he held his head in fear and pain.

He began crashing into every object around him and throwing the place out of order in sorrow for his son and granddaughter till he bashed his head, hard on a wall then realized what he was just doing and yelled,"Felicia!"

"Push!!"The doctor yelled.

Alexa's voice broke as she yelled at the top of her lungs.

A babies' cry was heard as her first child came into to the world, her Chromosapien daughter.

The doctor then said,"Come on, just two more."

She screamed again as she pushed as hard as she could, the pain and agony was overwhelming and she fell on her back, exhausted, her face wet with her sweat and tears.

The doctor came to her and said,"Please don't give up."

She cried as she whispered,"I'm sorry, I can't do it."

"Do it, do it for your boyfriend."He said.

The moment she heard those words, she placed her hands on her sides roughly then pushed, harder than she had ever pushed in her life.

She screamed but another babies' cry was heard.

The nurses were enchanted by how beautiful the creatures were, basically too beautiful to exist.

The doctor smiled and held her hand tightly while caressing her cheek then said,"One more."

She then remembered Trevor, all the love and affection he had shown her, how happy he had made her, then screamed one last time and another babies' cry was heard.

She fell on her back, exhausted till they placed the children on her chest.

She cried when she saw them.

The first daughter looked exactly like herself, with the first son looking like neither she nor Trevor and both of them at the same time.

He had dirty blonde hair with whitish, golden, brown and black hair all mixed together on his scalp, the last boy looked exactly like his father, the blonde hair, fair skin and facial features.

She held them gently then said,"Don't worry, I'll bring your father back."

The nurses took the babies to go and clean them then she mustered all her strength to stand to her feet.

She was about to stumble out of the door when some of the nurses stopped her and asked where she was going.

She was breathing heavily as she said,"I'm going to save Trevor."

"But you can't go like this, mam."One of the nurses said.

"I have to go!"She yelled.

She tried to fight against the staff and was prevailing easily even after just giving birth then elbowed one in the nose and she fell backwards but Alexa pushed on until she felt a sharp pain in her arm, then she felt very weak as the doctor pulled out the needle.

She fell to her knees then collapsed at his feet.

He carried her to the bed between his arms and caressed her cheek, but, how was he going to confess his feelings for her? How were any of them going to do it?
