AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Alexa walked out of the mansion into the driveway and was stunned when she saw Curtis by his black sports car.

He was wearing a midnight blue tuxedo with a white sub suit.

His long hair was tied in a tight ponytail and he looked like a Greek god, he was gorgeous as he stood by the car, waiting for Alexa to arrive.

He also looked stunned when Alexa arrived, she had to shop for new clothes since I recently trashed everything in the mansion.

She decided to wear traditional Chinese clothing for the occasion.

She was in a red silk cheongsam with colourful engravings of cherry blossoms and dragons on it.

Her long hair was tied into a bun with a hair comb holding it in place.

The comb was silver at the bottom and looked like a bouquet of colourful lotuses and torch ginger blossoms in her hair.

She smiled awkwardly at Curtis then said,"I know, I look awful, there's no need to rub it in."

"I was going to say you have a spider on your floral arrangement."He said.

"What?! Aaah! Where?!"She yelled.

He chuckled then said,"I was joking, you look amazing."

She smiled then said,"Thank you."

He helped her into the car and she was surprised he actually had a car, or that he even knew where to drive, she always saw him phasing in and out of the sub dimensional Space between spaces to appear at whichever place he needed to go to instead of boring old driving.

He reached a grand mansion and Alexa looked at him then said,"I thought you lived under a bridge."

He laughed and that made her feel butterflies in her stomach as the gate opened.

When they got in, several servants attended to them and greeted both of them warmly.

Alexa wasn't used to this as we didn't have servants in our mansion anymore, I guess we just decided to do things by ourselves for once so we got the staff new, well paid jobs around the city before letting them go, but this was a long time ago, a really long time ago.

They met a man probably in his fifties who smiled widely when he met them.

He looked at Alexa and his jaw dropped.

Curtis greeted him in Chinese then he laughed and said,"My son has hit a gold mine! She is spectacular!"

Alexa felt slightly self conscious and Curtis seemed to know as he respectfully told his father to stop.

His father teasingly kissed her hand then welcomed them to their home and gave them some time together.

They sat on a bridge atop the stream in their rock garden and talked and Alexa realized she had a whole lot in common with him.

They finished each other's sentences, spoke in unison and had the same likes and dislikes.

He was even a bookworm like her but he just abandoned it because of his mission.

Alexa then said,"Curtis, you shouldn't have to abandon anything you love like that."

He smiled then said,"It doesn't matter, talking wouldn't change them, trust me, I've tried."

She felt sorry for him as they were called for dinner.

They were going to the table when a beautiful girl looked at Alexa and rolled her eyes then said,"Yet another unlucky girl, love it while it lasts toots."

Then she walked away.

Alexa was confused then Curtis said,"That's just my sister, Mei, don't mind her, she was raised in the jungle."

Alexa smiled angrily at him then he groaned playfully then said,"Fine, but then she doesn't get a cool back story and wear the same diapers until they become a grass coloured skirt."

"You are disgusting."Alexa said.

"And yet you still get nervous around me."He said.

He was right.

He led her to the circular, rotating dinner table and sat opposite her.

There was so much food, Alexa could barely see Curtis's face.

She started drinking her soup when his grandmother asked,"So, when are you two getting married?"

Curtis choked on his noodles and Alexa laughed, thinking it was a joke, till his father said,"Soon mother, we've started arranging everything."

' What the heck?! We barely met two months ago! ' Alexa yelled to herself.

She looked at Curtis for help but he couldn't talk.

She frowned then stood up to leave.

Curtis called her and went after her while his sister said,"And yet another broken heart."

Curtis ignored her and caught up with Alexa.

She then turned back and said,"Tell me that was a joke, that we don't have an arranged marriage."

He was silent then she pushed him back and said,"You tricked me."

"I'm sorry it's just, my parents wanted me to marry you so we'll be related to the most powerful family out there and I couldn't say no."

She slapped him across the face then he looked at her with sorrow in his eyes, she then asked,"Is anything you said true?"

"I do love you Alexa, with all my heart."

"And how can I know you're telling the truth?"

"You don't, that's why it's called a leap of faith."

She calmed down then said she wanted to go home and he agreed to take her.

Alexa walked into the mansion then thanked him for everything and walked in, feeling scared of everything she had just discovered, were all Curtis's words and actions lies? Was he just using her as a disposable tool to get rid of later as his sister said?

She started to feel dizzy from all these thoughts so immediately went to bed.

Alexa had to get ready for her date with Trevor next.

She wasn't the biggest fan of makeup so she didn't wear any but wore some informal clothes as she was just going to a movie theater, how classic could it be?

She met Trevor standing by his white Lamborghini, looking stunning as usual, but for once, he was in a blue traditional Ghanaian shirt called a Dashiki and black trousers.

She was confused then asked why he was dressed like that and he said,"It's... for the occasion."

As they were driving, she asked,"So what movie are we watching?"

"It's a surprise."He said.

"Aww come on, you can tell me, I'll still act surprised."She said eagerly.

"I'm sorry but you're gonna have to wait."

She humphed and folded her arms then got to the movie theater and looked at him, shocked.

This was the most expensive theater in the city and for good reason as it was the most comfortable, formal and with the highest technology.

People only went there when they wanted their bank accounts empty and she thought she should dress informally.

She then said,"Trevor we can't go here, it's too expensive."

He smiled at her then said,"I don't remember how much money I lost, but I still remember your smile and want to see it again."

She smiled slightly, trying to save the best for last then he helped her out of the car.

They walked through the hallway which was clean enough for you to lick spilled juice off of it, no crying over spilled milk here, you could just slurp it up.

They walked into the theater and she sat down then watched some credits, before something she didn't expect was shown, my conversation with Anneliese.

She looked at him, confused then he said she should look at the title, it was Bright Academy.

She then saw Apollo being used as an actor...when did he do this?

He was acting as my childhood self and as Alex, my mirror twin brother, when I moved and activated my light.

She then asked,"But how did you find this movie?"

He smiled then said,"I made it."

She gasped and looked at him as he said,"I made it for you Alexa, as a gift."

She smiled as he brushed some hair off her face and said,"You are really special Alexa, and I love that about you, every bit of it."

Then he drew closer for a kiss, and she didn't resist, then they kissed and it was magical...
