ALL THE WAY HOME

Lilith was running to the French portal doors of the mansion when I asked her,"Sweetie, where are you going?"

"Oh, I've gotta go and see someone and I'm really late but will be back soon, left a clone to do my chores, so bye!"She said in one breath.

She was opening the door when I said,"Wait."

She sensed me coming closer then looked back to receive a kiss on her forehead then I held her head in my palms and said,"I love you, honey."

She smiled then said,"I love you too dad."

Then she hugged me then ran to the f

door and vanished.

I stood to my feet, chuckled then walked away.

Lilith landed from her literal giant Harpy Eagle then walked towards her friend.

He looked at her and jumped in his seat then asked scared,"What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit you, that is what friends do."She said.

"...but...but, your family doesn't approve of me anymore."He said.

"They're just scared you'll hurt me but I know you never will, will you?"She asked.

"Of course not, but, your family doesn't know that and I'm much more scared of your dad now than I ever was."He said.

"He's just trying to protect me, please don't take it to heart, you are a kind, shy and funny person and I don't regret healing you one bit."

He smiled then said,"Thank you."

Then he hugged her and said to himself,"Don't worry Lilith, I'll find a way for us to be together, one way or another..."

Alexa and Trevor were making out in the pouring water of the shower, her hands were going up and down his muscular torso which shone through the wet shirt he wore, and he did the same, touching all over her prefect body.

The doorbell suddenly rang and Alexa bit his lip, startled.

He jerked and banged his head against her lowered shower then she apologized but scratching his head, he chuckled and said,"It's okay, but we aren't expecting any visitors, are we?"

She shook her head.

They went to change into dryer clothes then proceeded with caution.

They opened the door then huge plumes of snow sprayed all over them as we yelled,"Surprise!!!"

Alexa wiped the powdered ice off her face then asked,"Guys?! What are you doing here?"

"We came to visit you and guess what? We all came."I said.

My whole family, including the Squeakers walked in and Alexa hugged all of us, telling us of how she had missed us.

My mom also gave her a tip of the important news we had to discuss with them.

Trevor led us to the dining room and helped Alexa set up dinner while the kids ran around with their pets.

Once we were settled, Trevor then asked,"So what important thing did you have to tell us?"

Anneliese, my mom and I looked at each other then said simultaneously,"We're moving back to Ghana."

Alexa gasped and asked,"What? That's amazing! I wish I could come but..."

"No we get it."Anneliese said,"You have a lot here."

Alexa smiled as she was understood then asked,"So when are you leaving?"

"In two weeks."Anneliese said.

She then kissed Jessica's nose and continued playing with her and making funny sounds as the one year old laughed and said,"Mommy! Peas!"

We all knew they could put together full sentences now and had even started walking so that didn't surprise us.

We all left in a few minutes and Alexa still couldn't digest the fact that we were going back to our home country.

She needed to stay for many reasons, the camp, Curtis and most importantly, Trevor, her boyfriend, her life was basically rooted there, but she was happy for us.

During the plane ride, Anneliese woke up from her nap and saw Lilith looking out of her window, while Saint Elmo's Fire flickered on the edge of the plane's wing from her fingers.

Anneliese asked,"Sweetie, you haven't slept the whole ride, is something wrong?"

"Oh yeah, I'm just not tired..."Lilith answered.

"Are you sure honey?"She asked, just to be sure.

The static charges died down as Lilith sighed then said,"No, I still have those visions and I think they're getting worse with each time I close my eyes, I haven't slept a wink in weeks and don't think I remember how to, I just don't want to hurt anyone again."

Anneliese shedded a tear then said,"Lilith, you will never hurt any of us, never intentionally and I know you love for everyone to have the best of everything, but you have to get the best of everything yourself, don't worry, I'll stay awake and keep watch."

"Okay."Lilith said.

She closed her eyes and reclined on her seat then stirred immediately and started to breathe heavily then gradually calmed down as her mother gently took her hand.

When the plane landed, we were surprised by the thick crowd that was waiting for us at the bottom of the ladder somehow.

The moment we got out, they let out an ear splitting roar of a cheer, chanting our names and lifting banners, I still couldn't believe this was all because of my family's actions.

I jumped over the edge of the ladder and the moment I landed on the floor, a thin layer of ice formed on the floor and went below the people's feet then formed a huge, snowflake like shape below the plane and shot white, swirling fireworks of snow and ice into the sky and the cheers became louder.

The others walked down and Lilith was shy as dozens of the boys in the crowd tried to impress her by showing her their muscles which were nothing compared to her's.

She then swiped her arm and a thin layer of the concrete on the floor raised and got wet then formed sheets of paper with her personal signature on it and the boys all cheered for her.

Apollo had a similar plight with the girls, even the ones older than him, so he swiped his arm then dozens of Frillers appeared and flew to land on the girls' heads and shoulders and they squealed for joy.

Frillers were a bird type monster with silver coloured beaks and golden eyes.

They were known for having a greater sound imitating capability than normal male lyre birds.

Their heads were covered in smooth, silvery iridescent feathers while their bodies were a rainbow of colours with designs unique to each bird, they were known to be shy and so the fact that Apollo had imagined some to be tame enough to land on the people's heads was a great warp on reality and exhausted him, but he tried his best not to show it.
