A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL

The knife painlessly removed from my leg and the wound sealed then I looked at it in surprise as the knife was thrown away on its own.

Alex had controlled Cynthia's arm while she was unconscious and activated her light to reverse time on my wound.

He was exhausted after this and my mom couldn't stop kissing and hugging him and Alexa joined in.

I also hugged my mom with tears streaming down my cheeks and I said,"I thought I lost you."

"Yeah, wait what?"She asked.

"I thought you died when I was six, you were killed by that man."I explained.

"Okay you better start making sense or I'm going to spank you like I've been spanking him."

Alexa giggled and Alex frowned.

I was confused as I asked,"What do you mean? I am making sense, he killed you and dad."

"Son, he is your dad, what did they do to you?"She asked.

I started breathing heavily then looked at him as he made a weak smile. I started to cry and ran to hug him and apologize for all the pain I had put him through.

He said, without a thought,"I forgive you."

I sensed John coming and looked in that direction then saw him clapping. He then said,"You are beautiful and a killer, now that is a woman, maybe we could go out for coffee some time."

Alex hydroteleported behind him then started hitting him in the head with a rod made of ice, hard and yelling,"No one gets to talk about my mom like that except for me!"

My mom said it was enough then he dropped the stick and walked on him over to us.

I couldn't stop apologizing to my dad as I healed him and the moment he was fully recovered, he hugged me tightly.

He looked into my eyes as I cried then wiped my tears and said,"You have nothing to be sorry for, but a lot to remember."

I nodded then hugged him again.

At that moment, the blue giant went hypernova...

It wasn't easy convincing all the over a thousand students Bright Academy had had during the years that I wasn't in my right mind, but rather, had my memories altered by some past changing crazy lady.

But eventually, they forgave me, and my parents showed more love to me than ever to help me stop feeling guilty.

It didn't take long for me to fall back in love with Anneliese, mostly because she was literally the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, but it did take a while for our relationship to get as strong as it used to be.

I kept teaching Alex and going on Monster Hunter missions, but I also started teaching Alexa, who was more flexible than the average contortionist.

Three years passed and I was nineteen while my siblings were both ten, Alex had advanced to level 2.33 and had unlocked a lot more skills.

Alexa on the other hand, was topping all her classes in school and winning me at body twister at home, I had never been happier...

My dad also preferred to dress more formally now, in addition to his formal hairstyle.

In this three year period, Squeakers had duplicated six times, though each of his brothers died as usual and that was an emotional blow to the Snowball, but with my family's love and support, he got over it.

Squeakers' kind also got a name, the Snowball, this was because they were becoming more common. They were usually mutated protozoa, eubacteria and archaebacteria but most of them didn't have lights like Squeakers.

They could also be white, brown or black in colour, mostly depending on the environments of where they were mutated in.

They were named Snowballs because they were most commonly white and found in snowy areas.

During this time, Alex had braided his hair and had also developed his numerous blood vessels which helped keep his body warm when swimming in cold waters and had fully developed his swim bladder and super sized spleen and Alexa had never been happier for him.

It was actually a bit creepy how nice Alexa always was to her brother even when he had a light when she didn't even though they were twins.

This was mostly because she could be harboring hatred and jealousy for him that she was just sugarcoating.

I had read her mind several times to confirm my theory but was always proven wrong, she was just that nice a kid...

An alarm went off and two criminals ran out of a bank vault with huge sacks of money across their backs.

They passed through the hall of the bank where the other two were holding all the people in the bank at gunpoint.

They went to their leader then said,"Boss, you were right, this was a piece of cake."

Alex then said,"Told you, so let's bounce."

They walked out of the bank the saw me standing there and frowning.

I then said,"Put the money back where you found it."

One of them yelled,"Every man for himself!"

Then they ran in different directions but huge and sharp stalagmites of ice III grew in two diagonal directions from me and triangulated them.

One of them stopped as the block of ice was an inch from his chest, looked at me, then chuckled nervously then walked back into the bank.

I frowned even more deeply at Alex but he shrugged his shoulders.

"Why won't you ever change?"I asked Alex on the way home.

He looked at me then said,"I'll change after you change."

"What are you talking about? I don't need to change."

"Then neither do I."

I groaned then said,"Fine let's compromise, I'll change from a character trait you don't like in me and you do the same, deal?"

He smiled widely then said,"Deal."

I then asked,"So what character trait of mine do you so want me to change?"

"Your overprotection of me."

"What? I'm not over protective."I said.

He looked at me with his eyes half closed then I said,"Fine, but it's just because I really care about you and your sister."

"Well I don't care, stop it."

"It's not easy to stop when I can sense it everytime you could be in danger and read your self destructive thoughts."

"Well manage it, it's either you stop, or I don't then I get arrested to juvenile detention and taint the name of the Oppong family."

I frowned at him then said,"You're a black sheep."

He smiled then said,"I like black, it reminds me of death."

I sighed then said,"Fine, I'll quit it."

"Ps, that also means I can become a Monster Hunter."

I abruptly stepped on the brakes and he hit his head on the dashboard and stared at me angrily, then I asked,"W- w- what?! Where is this coming from?!"I yelled.

"First off, aw! And second off, I want to be a Monster Hunter like you and dad."

"You're too young!"

"You started young."

"I was fifteen!"

"Then I guess I'll be the youngest."

"Actually there are others who are younger than you."

"Wait, what?!"

"Yeah, it's a special division, but I won't allow it."

"You see! That's the exact overprotective behavior I was talking about."

I groaned then looked forward.

He looked at me but I didn't want to look at him but my water vision wouldn't allow me not to see his puppy dog eyes.

I gripped the steering wheel hard and gritted my teeth from inside my closed lips then looked at him from the corner of my eyes.

' No! Don't do it! Ugh, fine! He's just so adorable! ' I yelled to myself.

"Fine! You have a deal."
