A CURE

Lilith came into my dream then saw a huge cage, which reeked of blood, with the Demonic Succubus at one end, and a door which I was pushed out of in the other.

I didn't look at all like myself.

I was covered in scars, was really thin and had down cut hair, my skin wasn't even of the right colour, I was a lot fairer.

She knew it was me since that was where my point of view was located and she had that feeling in a dream where no one looked as they should but you could still tell exactly who they were.

I was shivering violently and holding a huge, metal shield and a short, rusted knife.

Lilith yelled my name then I looked at her, and in an instant, the monster caught me by the legs and threw me back first into the blood covered floor, then raised me up and threw me again, amidst my yells, then sent me above its head and threw my back on its knee and I yelled sharply.

Lilith screamed my name then the Succubus looked at her then grinned, then held me up by the neck, sent its hand back and pierced through my chest and pulled out my heart as I yelled in pain.

Lilith screamed and stretched her arm through the bars, reaching for me as I reached for her with my last breath, then it brought the still beating heart out of my lifeless body then crushed it in its hand.

Lilith screamed with tears in her eyes then the monster ran to her side and she jumped back as it growled, then used its long, white and slobbery tongue to slowly lick all over her face and she pushed it away.

I was pushed into the arena again but Lilith knew she had to do something this time.

Before the monster had the chance to literally tear me to shreds again, the bars behind me turned to ashes and she dragged me out but the monster charged at us then the bars grew back and blocked it.

Lilith said I should follow her then we ran through he endless maze of the arena then I hugged her when she stopped and said,"I thought I'll never see you again."

She looked at me then said,"You actually might not if you don't wake up from this dream."

"What?"I asked.

"This, all of this is a nightmare, but that monster is real and is actually killing you, that is a Demonic Succubus feeding on your soul, please, wake...aaah!"

The monster burst through the wall and attacked Lilith who defended herself with her lights but I felt this sudden rage, fear and defensiveness over her then yelled and raised the knife then jumped on its head and pierced through one of its eyes.

It screeched and was about to knock me off but I kept piercing it, all over its ugly face then pierced it through its green, glowing heart then kicked the knife deeper.

Glowing green blood poured everywhere as it writhed and struggled till it fell down.

The Succubus screeched then fell backwards, unconscious.

Lilith and I woke up abruptly then I hugged her tightly and she did the same.

She then told me she had to wake Anneliese up as well and I said I'd wait for her.

Lilith hesitated for a second then hugged me again and checked as the image of me slowly got to its feet with the glowing orb still in its chest and the monster nowhere to be found...the Succubus was gone, why?

She then thought about what happened differently, we killed it...I killed it, that was how we were going to get rid of them.

She touched Anneliese's head then blacked out and saw her running in a place with grassy fields as far as the eye could see, but sh was running from something, an Angelic Succubus which was chasing after her in the form of a giant woman in a red silk dress which unraveled at where her feet were, were supposed to be, as she was levitating several feet off the ground.

The Succubus cackled happily, enjoying, feeding off her fear.

One of the strands of red silk darted at Anneliese then whipped her legs and made her fall as she screamed.

Lilith ran to her and Anneliese stretched and strained to get to her daughter but her efforts were in vain as the Succubus dragged her backwards.

She screamed but it was like she was underwater with no sound escaping her mouth.

Lilith made her vanish and appear right beside herself right before she was sliced through by one of the silk strands.

Anneliese hugged Lilith then Lilith said,"Mom, I have no time to explain but you have to kill that thing."

"But, I can't."Anneliese said, fearfully and sadly.

"Yes you can, this is your dream, your mind."

"Dream?"

"Yes, this is nothing but a bad dream."Lilith continued.

The Succubus kept hitting the invisible barrier that protected the two girls but its efforts were in vain, it just wouldn't break.

It screamed in agitation as Lilith said,"Please mom, you have the strength, the power, everything that you need, if you wouldn't do it for you, do it so you can come back to me, to dad, to Apollo, to Jessica and everyone else, please."

Anneliese looked at her then nodded then Lilith smiled and said,"Then you're going to need a little help."

At that moment, tiny, glowing sparks in shades of green, gold and brown started circling her hands.

Lilith said,"Go and get that monster.

"Anneliese nodded then stood behind the barrier which immediately broke.

The Succubus shot one of its silk strands but a sharp rock grew in its way and it was sliced in two by its own force.

The Succubus shrilled then whipped two which sliced through the grasses as they advanced towards Anneliese.

Anneliese ran forward then was shot up by a rock which was immediately sliced in three by the silk strands then Anneliese yelled as she pulled back her hand and dozens of silk strands were shot at her...

The Succubus screamed and covered its face then fell and rolled on its back as if in great pain, then after a long while of misery, stayed motionless.

The other Succubuses had seen what had happened to the other two and knew the mission was over, so just let go of us, they'd rather die at the boss's hands than lose consciousness like that.

Lilith sensed that we all woke up, some abruptly and others slowly.

She ran to give all of us a massive bear hug.

"How long have we been asleep? Ugh, my brain is throbbing."My mom said.

"Twenty hours at least."Indigo told her.

"Aww, one second I was in the greatest amusement park ever and the next, I'm in bed."Apollo said.

"Trust me..."Lilith said,"...you do not want to go back to that amusement park."

Lilith fed us all on the details of the Succubus invasion of our privacy but we still wondered why so many attacked at one place as it was rare for ten to attack a whole town, and even more, how Lilith didn't get one.
